Really good experience at the car people Manchester Branch. Nav was easy to talk to while on our test drive in my new car he discussed all options clearly without being pushy. Becky also the business manager discussed and showed all options and wasn’t pushy helped me find a finance package which suited me. Both very helpful.

I was served by max, he was great ! he listened to what I was looking for, gave advice I needed to make my decision and even helped as I test drove my automatic car making me feel at ease even though i was bricking it !

I purchased a 2015 Dodge Charger from the Good Car People, Inc on July 16, 2022.
It has not been a good experience. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle it stopped twice in rush hour traffic. The vehicle vibrated when in park and the engine light came on. I notified the Good Car People company that the vehicle had mechanical defects and was unsafe to drive. The Good Car People company towed the vehicle and determined that it was defective. When I requested a refund of my 2,000 dollar down payment I was told that they would keep the vehicle and my deposit. They did not offer an alternative vehicle or a rental. As a consequence I have been forced to purchase another vehicle to get to and from work. I have contacted them multiple times by email and phone and have been unable to resolve this matter.

Went to part exchange my old car, for something newer, the salesman Adam was brilliant, went above and beyond nothing was too much trouble, left very satisfied.
Arranged to collect the car next day and then things dipped, 2 or 3 little jobs hadn't been done I.e loose screw in the number plate, taxation class hadn't been altered from disabled. and 15 minute wait for handover after being told 5 minutes and I appeared to be the only person waiting.
Not good after the excellent service the day before

Just purchased a car at Wakefield car shop, involved a couple of trips and both times I’ve been looked after by Eesaa. He had been excellent through the whole process, explaining everything to me and going out his way to get the car ready asap after a recall by Vauxhall. He’s a credit to Car Shop.

Honestly if I could write a 0 I would. Appalling service. Bought my first car here because being such a well known big company you would expect 10/10 customer service but no. 5 months I've had my car I'm a learner, my air conditioning never worked. My Bluetooth was ripped out and sold to me under false pretences. The car is a 2014 polo 40,000 miles. Should have been in excellent conditions, not only did I not know about these problems til picking the car up they promised to have it resolved in a week. 5 months later and 100 phonecalls and 4 complaints later I'm still being ignored and fobbed off. My wiring for my side light is faulty which means I can't use my own car to do my test in which is 10 days away but I've been waiting 5 months to have my car fixed the way it was supposed to be when I came to pick it up. I've been told I'll have a call back within 24hours to never get called. I've come upto the shop 3 separate times to be fobbed off. I've been told my parts have been on order since September and I've also been told they must have come and been sent back by mistake. This company is a joke and they don't care less when you've actually bought the car. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

Please do not buy a car from here!!!! I felt I had been conned when I bought it and wish I never went ahead.

Excellent service from Rashad at Aston under Lyne store. Nothing was too much trouble , really understood what I was looking for and went out of his way to assist in the purchase of my Audi TT. Callum was also very professional and carefully listened to my requirements and was very efficient. Both these team members are a credit to your company. Whole experience was stress free and slick and professional would definitely recommend to family and friends left with a good deal for trade in of my old Audi TT and throughly enjoying my new Audi TT . Thanks guys.

Just awful, do not correctly respond to customer rights re complaints, they ognore, deflect, anything other than deal with you with respect, never go near this company. They might as well wear masks, stripy shirts and carry a bag with the names swag on it.

If I could give any advice it would be don’t use the Wakefield branch!
Constant lies, unprofessional and staff that don’t know what they are doing. Even lies from the branch manager! All incompetent. Then to top it all 4 weeks after purchase , despite all their so call checks I have replace disc & brake pads!

I've not bought a car but I would like to thank a chap that works for the car group that helped me on Cheetham Hill rd Manchester on Monday 3rd August at 6.35pmish. I was in traffic and in a hire car which I actually hate driving but it stalled and wouldn't start it was chucking it down with rain people we're going past me and this chap pulled up ran over and by the time he got to me it started. I didn't get his name as I was in such a state. He had a coat on with the car people on so I wanted to say a very big thank you to him. I hope this gets to you.

Purchased a car from Bristol car shop, and what a night mare it has been!! From start to finish, felt like I was being pushed in to adding things on to my car finance deal which I did not want, half of it was just a rip off and all for getting themselves some extra bonus!! I never got a phone call with the time my car would be delivered, it then arrived at 5pm in the evening with NO PETROL! The break light was out, no car mats even though I was promised them on the phone 3 times by Dylan! It has been a horrible experience from start to finish, then 2 days of having the car my service light comes up, but I have been lied to and told my car was serviced before leaving the shop, which obviously was a BIG lie! 6 days and my original car finance still has not been paid off by the car people. I am a unhappy customer, when I thought getting a new car should be an exciting time. Each complaint I have made has just been passed on to someone else to deal with. I am now still waiting for a phone call regularising all of my complaints. To top of off I got told by one of the customer assistants ‘ this is what you get for getting an nice car so cheap off us’ that was his attitude. I wouldn’t say £185 a month, with me paying back £11,000 is CHEAP!

I was shopping at the car people in Wakefield and a valeter called Nathan harassed me and said he would knock me out. This put me off from buying a car.

From start to finish was extremely happy with the service.

Mathew was my main contact showing me around my new car and supporting me with my trade in.

Damien supported me with the finance.

Steven on handover helped me with picking up my car.

Everyone wanted to go the extra mile for me, in particular Mathew and Damien.

I went away with a new car and the best experience I have had finanincing a vechile. I will definitely be a returning customer.
