My name is Lisa, and I'm the sole owner of Cedar and Tin (cedarandtin.com), a small Etsy shop in Texas that I've been running since 2014. There's another company called Cedar and Tin Co (cedarandtinco.com), and despite our nearly identical names, I have absolutely no connection to that business.

I sell personalized gifts and keepsakes exclusively through Etsy, and my website takes visitors directly to my Etsy shop. Over the years, I've had nearly 100,000 sales and around 16,000 five-star reviews. I've never sold the garden products being advertised by the other company.

I've only recently discovered that customers of Cedar and Tin Co have been leaving reviews on my Trustpilot profile, and it's been incredibly upsetting to see my small business associated with experiences I had nothing to do with.

I completely understand why you want to warn others, and I certainly wouldn't want to discourage you from sharing what happened. Unfortunately, these reviews are affecting the reputation I've spent more than a decade building.

If you would consider removing your review from my business's Trustpilot page, I would be very grateful. I hope your warning reaches the people looking into the company you actually purchased from, rather than unintentionally affecting another small business.

I can certainly understand your frustration, especially when you requested a refund within hours of placing your order, only to be told you'd have to pay to return the item to Hong Kong.
