Booked flights for 3 passengers, only confirmed a seat for one passenger on the booking, other two passengers had to go on a waitlist for up to 4 weeks, requested refund, advised I would receive an email in 30 minutes, still waiting for an email 5 hours later and two further phone calls. Do not book, advised I booked a promo fare which assuming was in the fine print - why take our money if you do not have the seats allocated

We understand how disappointing it must have been to book flights for three passengers, only to discover that confirmed seats were not immediately available for all passengers. We also appreciate how concerning it can be when payment has been taken and the booking status does not meet your expectations. We sincerely apologies for any lack of clarity or inconvenience caused during this process.
The booking appears to have been made on a promotional fare, where seat availability is subject to confirmation by the airline. In such circumstances, a booking request can be processed while confirmation for individual passengers remains pending or waitlisted. We appreciate that this distinction may not have been sufficiently clear, and we understand your concerns regarding why payment was processed before all seats were confirmed.
We also acknowledge your comments regarding the refund and the expected email confirmation. We understand that being advised to expect an update within 30 minutes and still waiting several hours later, despite making additional calls, would understandably be frustrating. This is not the level of communication or service we aim to provide.
Further, according to our records, we can confirm that the booking has now been successfully cancelled and the full refund has been processed. We hope this provides some reassurance and brings the matter to a satisfactory conclusion.
We sincerely value your feedback, and we will use it to improve the clarity of our promotional fare information and the way we communicate booking and refund timeframes.

This website is a SCAM
This website is a SCAM, do not book via this website. I tried to book and they took the money out only to find out I then have to upgrade in order to get the seat. The staff at an overseas call centre was obviously VERY RUDE! He also said that they haven't taken the money out but they have, and the refund was not instant as what he claimed to be. To cheapflyshop response, you will not see a booking as it was cancelled.

I was somewhat sceptical that this site…
I was somewhat sceptical that this site might be a scam but they had really good prices on flights Perth- Bali return with Batik air (cheaper than booking direct with Batik Air) so I booked two tickets for my son and his fiancee. All went well and I received the tickets in a few days. After viewing the tickets I noticed that i had spelt my son's fiance's surname incorrectly. I thought I was going to be in a world of pain but not the case. I rang Cheapfly and they promptly answered the phone (no waiting on hold). I told them the problem and they said they would get back to me which they did an hour or so later. they told me they could fix the problem and give me a credit for the money paid on the discounted air fare but I would have to pay balance to normal fare - fair enough so we did that - all good. but the saga doesn't end there. As it was getting close to departure my son's fiance checked the tickets only to find there was another mistake with spelling of her middle name (including and E when there shouldnt have been one). So they rang Cheapfly same great service, answered promptly got some advice and changed the ticket name to the correct spelling within hours no charge. The service from staff at Cheapfly was better than any other company I have dealt with. A few government departments, airlines, insurance companie and bank could learn a good lesson in customer satisfaction from this company
