I'd give Cheffins 4.5 stars, estate agents were good and helpful. Sales department were thorough in chasing clients solicitors. Happy with the service and would use them again.

The Agent don’t show up time, lack of professionalism. They will have you put offers just to let to someone else. I call them out on their discrimination, yes it’s exists. I put two offers in the place, I offer them what they are asking for. As soon as someone else comes, I did not get the place.

Good communication always reduces the stress in property transactions.

My experience with this company, especially Cheffins Haverhill has been very good if not great. Its been one year with them after i assumed occupation on one of the property under their administration. The letting process, up to occupation and even our issues raised were timeously heard, explained, discussed and resolved in a professional manner. Moving to the whole course of the year, our communications and address to issues was flawless. It will be unfair not to mention Max Ross, whose professionalism is to steroid levels and entire Haverhill team, outstanding. I proudly recommend.

Absolutely Useless – Do Not Recommend!

This is a follow-up to my previous review. Cheffins claims they’ve "dealt with all issues in a timely manner," but that's far from the truth. We’ve reached out countless times to report ongoing issues, but it always ends up being a cycle of excuses and deflections.

Despite their suggestion that we “contact them directly,” we are tired of repeatedly explaining the same problems, only to be met with unhelpful responses and a lack of accountability. The property manager may have started in May, but this doesn’t excuse the complete lack of support and action on issues that arose during her time.

Save yourself the frustration. Cheffins is unresponsive and unreliable. I would strongly advise against renting through them.

I bought 16.09 lot of 2 dolls at an auction as a gift for my mother. When the dolls arrived, one had two OLD thin cracks on her cheek. They were not shown in the photo (they took it from a different angle) and were not indicated in the description. We called them right away. The answer was - it's not their problem. They said to contact the carrier company. We wanted to return the doll to them - so that they could see for themselves that it was an old crack - at least 50 years old. And we do not want to shift the blame of the auctioneers to others, as they demand from us. They did not apologize and do not answer letters and calls. Do not contact this auction company and your nerves and money will be in order.

I rented an apartment from Cheffins in Cambridge and had a difficult time getting my deposit back at the end of the tenancy. As a foreigner I was exploited by the agency in favour of the landlord and my deposit was used to make repairs despite the fact that I took good care of the property during my tenancy. Cheffins showed they were Biase! Till date I have not gotten any payment back from the deposit paid

Cheffins Newmarket were excellent in keeping up communications and helping expedite the whole process. You couldn’t hope for better service

Brilliant service! Cheffins provided swift and friendly responses to all my calls and emails. The reference check process was effortless and they connected me with a company to assist with setting up utilities, this was incredibly helpful. I highly recommend renting via Cheffins!

Poor if not hopeless customer relationship , quick to push off complaints , insensitive remarks , we quickly lost faith in the ability to conduct our house sale for us , we felt that they were allowing strangers into our property , leaving lights on and sweet wrappers , when we brought this to the agents notice he remarked perhaps it was a polterguist,,,, knowing full well about the recent death of my wife’s mother , an unnerving and cold remark , and certainly not a comment n agent would make to help the house sale , further instructing a friend to deal with the legal work , for the purchasers , and the legal friend delayed with reply’s to our solicitor, increasing costs for both sides , overall shabby
