Mockmill came broken and they’ve gotten cozy with my $600

Bought it the 27th, 1-2 day shipping ended up being a week, Came with a broken internal part with no damage on the shipping box. They couldn’t replace it because they didn’t have it in stock, so they offered me a better model for the inconvenience and then RAN OUT OF THOSE. You’d think they would have put one aside for me? I literally don’t get it. I digress. So they received my return last Thursday (confirmed by both FedEx and chefsupplies customer service and they still haven’t even ISSUED my refund, and it’s been a hell of a process to even get to this point. Run. Don’t even think about buying from them. It will not be at your door in 2 days, they will not “ship you a replacement immediately”if you receive something damaged/dysfunctional as promised on their site. It’s all a scheme to get you to buy. Look at all of the 1 ⭐️ google reviews. Actually read them, and then go Buy it from Mockmill.ca, they also have free shipping! I have no idea how this company is in business- With Everything I’ve gone through with them, I am genuinely shocked it’s not a scam. Pathetic excuse for a business. Never again.

Humans no where to be found.

Can't talk to a human when there's an issue. Entered my delivery address but somehow it was delivered to a different address. Ruined plans for a gift, terrible customer service, and terrible experience overall.

I ordered a high quality mandoline

I ordered a high quality mandoline
It took several weeks to arrive despite them claiming the order went out immediately
I am located in Ontario so not that far from the warehouse so that is kind of suspicious
I received the product on Dec 9, 2025
I really found the mandoline very not user friendly so have decided to return it
However, trying to return it is next to impossible. From absent and not responding customer service. I tried to email as per instruction. It claims I will get information as to how to go about my return within 24 hours. Its been a week, no response. I tried to call the number then, but all it does is give a message telling me to send the email and I will get a response within 24 hours. NADA. I then called the number, and pushed the second option, a retail person who was of no help. All she told me is that with the price I paid (271$ for a mandoline) that the company made very little profit. This just out of the blue. Not sure what that has to do with my return She told me she works in the retails sector and cannot help me. That I need to email. So here I am. This company really has the worst customer service I will definitely never purchase anything from them again. I was planning on a different mandoline from the company but I will definitely not get it now that I see how they treat their returns. Wish me luck!!!

Return Policy Mumbo-Jumbo

Buyer beware! Chef Supplies states that they don't believe in having pages filled with mumbo-jumbo and that they've tried to keep their return policy as simple as possible, but they don't actually disclose that certain items can't be returned when ordering because they're apparent for commercial use...
Anyways, we ordered some Rhino coffee supplies for home use as they're also intending to be used, but ChefSupplies wants a 20 -35% restocking fee which is absolutely ridiculous!
We will not be purchasing from them again, or recommending them to any of our friends or work colleagues. We highly recommend you avoid any purchases from them!

I ordered a set of Peugeot Elis Sense

I ordered a set of Peugeot Elis Sense salt and pepper mills. Chef’s supply had a great price point on them and they kept me well informed about the delivery. I will definitely use them for more products.
The Peugeot mills are excellent . They function well and are as good as the many reviews say they are . The only suggestion I would give is read the manual prior to loading the salt and pepper into the mills as replacing the top to the base is slightly finicky.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift…

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my wife. I was very pleased with the prompt and efficient delivery and the product was well packaged to ensure it wasn't damaged during transit.
Although she hasn't tried it yet, she is very impressed with all of the features and is looking forward to testing it out over the holidays.

Terrible service

The 2 to 3 days shipping turned out to be one and half week, when I asked about my shipping they said they would talk to the shipper when actually it wasn’t shipped. Answering time sometime more than one day and finally the case of the burner was broken when it arrived offered me 25$ so what about the case?

I wanted a call before arrival nope got a call when sitting outside my door 30 min before we opened. then found out we had to get them inside ourselves. on fridge came with no handles

Sent the wrong item.

You sent me the completely wrong item, a much cheaper item at that. The box additionally showed up damaged and clearly had previously been opened. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Quick and fast service

Quick and fast service. Love how the Mockmill grinds our hard red wheat. Perfect for making bread. I recommend this to anyone who wants to mill there own wheat berries.

When I placed my order

When I placed my order, one of the items turned out to be unavailable in the colour I ordered it in. Customer service reached out to me to confirm if I was interested in selecting the item in another colour . I really appreciate the fact that I was given the option to do that. Once I responded and selected the item in another colour, a representative responded quickly to acknowledge my response. It is nice to deal with an organization that appreciates my business

On your web page you state that "Your…

On your web page you state that "Your order ships today or its free" This led me to believe that I would get my order quite soon. The order was placed on Nov 24th and was received by Canada Post Dec1st in Birch Hills, SK. It arrived Dec5th. So, 7 days to get it to a Post Office. Another 5 days to arrive at my home.
12 days from payment to arrival. Based on this I doubt I will be buying from ChefSupplies any time soon.

Would not recommend

The product was supposed to take three or four days to deliver, it took almost a month! Plus, it was delivered outside of our store hours and left in the parking lot! And, if this wasn't enough, it arrived without any power cords! Would not recommend this company.

No refund offered for broken item

TLDR: If you buy an item from them, they do NOT stand behind their shipping. If something is broken or damaged, whether in shipping or otherwise, they will NOT refund you. You should order expecting ZERO chance at refund in any circumstance.

Bought 5 items, they refunded 1 without any notice to me (just got the email -refunded, my first contact with them). That little bit is annoying, because if I wanted to re-buy it, I'd have to pay for new shipping.

Then, when I received my order of the other items, they knowingly shipped a broken item. How do I know? The staff told me over email. They then said the best they can offer is a discount on my next order.

I contacted them within the hour of receiving my item. Everything else in the order was fine, but this was not.

So just to be clear, they shipped a broken item (a lid for the pot I bought, sold separately because of course it is), refused refund, and asked me to buy more items.
