My cat flap (360W) died in 2 years and 1 month, with their 3 year warranty I applied for it via Amazon (since it was purchased there) - but Amazon denied my claim as it fell outside of the 2 years - even though Amazon broke the local law I contacted Closer Pets themselves and they issues an immediate RMA and helped without so much as even a doubt.

So absolutely better help and customer service than Amazon

What a fantastic company. If all companies operated with the same ethos of practising what they preach and walking the talk. The service from Andy, COO is just outstanding. What a true leader, always putting customers first. He truly cares about employees too. Pet Care are very lucky to have him. He does everything he can for the customer.

I had an issue with a product I bought from Closer Pets 2 years ago and wrote to them, simply asking them what might be the reason for the lid not closing anymore. They replied to me within 2 minutes, asked for my address and receipt, and informed me that their products have a three year guarantee. I hadn't realised they had such a long guarantee, and even though I bought the microchip feeder from Zooplus Closer Pets sent me out a new one which arrived 30 hours later. I was surprised by how speedy and honourable they are. I do have another one of those feeders which has lasted me 4 years thus far with no problems. I never expected to be sent a new feeder, but had only written hoping there might be a re-set I could do or just to get confirmation that I needed to chuck out the feeder. Instead the immediate response was to send me a new feeder. After a whole 2 years of use.

As mentioned, I have another Closer Pets microchip feeders, and bought both after having endless problems with the 2 microchip feeders I had bought from the competing company making them. Their model looks slicker so I had bought them first, but they constantly malfunctioned, were fiddly to clean, and the lids being flimsy often jam open so if you go away and leave your cats, you risk returning to find the greedy one has eaten all the other cat's food. So within months of mishaps and wrestling with the technology of the competing brand's microchip feeder, I switched to the far sturdier, far more capacious and far more hygienic Closer Pets one.

I am very happy with the brand and have two of their microchip cat flaps, one of which I have had 12 years with no problems whatsoever, not even in fierce rainy weather. Very sturdy products, and when there is a problem as I recently found out, their customer service deals with it swiftly, no nonsense and full responsibility.

Immediate reaction, no complication, new Item (warranty) within 1 week. Perfekt!

Ich hatte einige Schwierigkeiten mit einer Katzentür mit Mikrochip. Die Firma war sehr kulant und hat mir kostenlos eine neue Tür geschickt. Der Emailkontakt mit dem Kundendienst war freundlich und lösungsorientiert.

Esto no funciona. No graba los microchips. Llevo días intentando, sin éxito. Sigo el procedimiento, la luz hace lo que se supone que debe hacer, parpadea cómo si se hubiera grabado el chip, pero no lo hace. No funciona de ninguna manera. lo devolveré y buscaré otra marca.
El problema que tendré que resolver, es adaptar el agujero que hice a la nueva puerta que compre. Una basura inútil, e inservible. Cuidado al comprar esta marca.

I had an issue with my initial catflap, when I called, I found customer service was excellent, helpful and well informed. I was sent a new unit and it is working perfectly.

Ich habe bisher zweimal einfach nur exzellente Erfahrungen mit dem Kundenservice von Closer Pets gemacht. In beiden Fällen wurde blitzschnell auf meine Anfrage geantwortewt und das Problem gelöst.

Beim ersten Mal wurde ein falscher Artikel geliefert, da die Verpackungen im Lager wohl falsch etikettiert wurden. Reklamation war absolut unkompliziert und die Ersatzlieferung war in wenigen Tagen da.

Beim zweiten Mal ist in unserem MiBowl Futterautomat ein Zahnrad im Motorgetriebe nach etwas über einem Jahr kaputt gegangen. Ich frage nach einer Reparaturmöglichkeit, aber stattdessen haben wir einfach direkt einen neuen MiBowl Futterautomaten zugeschickt bekommen. Und das defekte Produkt mussten wir nicht einmal einschicken, weder vorher noch nachher. Ich bin wirklich erfreut, dass es noch Firmen mit einem so außerordentlich tollen Kundenservice gibt!

We needed an adapter to enable the Closer Pets cat flap, which we had bought in our local pet shop, robe installed in a glass panel. We were easily able to identify the required adapter on the Closer Pets website and it arrived very quickly. Figaro will be very pleased!
