I purchased the original hair straightener and I am extremely pleased with it. I have never owned a straightener before, thinking that it could make my hair frizzy or damage it. The Cloud 9 straightener does the opposite making my hair smooth and manageable. The straightener is easy to use with clear instructions and I am getting better at doing my hair in different styles. A really good choice. Also the delivery was very prompt.

I’m extremely happy with my Cloud Nine wide iron, I was nearly going to buy the GHD Chronos that my hairdresser uses, but I’m thrilled I went with the Cloud Nine. It quickly straightens my thick curly hair and the “revive” vibrations really work. Very happy!
I just wish it came in pink like the GHD!

Very happy with my cloud nine. Love the volumiser attachements, looks like my hair has been had a blow wave and it I brush my hair the next day it will still fall back into the same blow wave shape. Only downside is fall is that the attachments get super hot.

The product was delivered in excellent condition. Blowing strength wasn't as strong as I would like it, but still manageable, as I have fine hair. Thicker hair might struggle. Still practicing use of the volumising add-ons, will need to watch the tutorial videos some more!

I bought the Cordless Iron to replace my original GHD which I’d had for 20 years.
I am so disappointed by both the product and the customer service.
I have short, thin hair and I can *just* get one straighten out of it before having to plug it in to charge for 90 minutes. So instead of having a corded iron plugged in for ten minutes while I use it, I’m supposed to have this plugged in for 90 minutes every day? I don’t get the point? It’s not like it’s useful to take to the gym because it’s big and very heavy.
More important than all of that, it doesn’t straighten very well. My 20 year old GHD on its last leg does a better job. I have tried my friend’s corded Cloud Nine and that was great so how did they get the cordless so wrong?
I got in touch with Cloud Nine as I thought it might be faulty. They did get back to me quickly which is great but they said it doesn’t sound broken. It’s intended to be used as a ‘touch up tool’ NOT as a straightener.!?! It’s very clearly marketed as a straightener on their website. Yes, I should have read the fine print which does say it only lasts ‘up to 20 minutes’ but it doesn’t say that’s it not very good even fully charged.
I asked if I could exchange it for a corded straightener and they said no. It wasn’t bought directly from them so they are legally not required to but if it were my business and someone was giving me the opportunity to make it right at no cost to them, I’d take it rather than telling me I can send it in for assessment but they’ll just send it straight back.
I’m in the process of lodging a complaint about false advertising and they’ve lost me as a customer forever.
** cloud nine commented that customer support were assisting me. They did get in touch again - but it was just to tell me essentially ‘tough s..’ in more words. Also I noticed that my product review on their website didn’t get published so factor that dodgy practice into any future buying decisions.

Was very hesitant to purchase as I thought it was a bit expensive but I’m so happy that I did. It was better than I expected.

They’re just thieves! 0 value for money. Customer service is so condescending and mean too! I wished I never made this purchase. Dumbest decision ever.
