The product does his job! The camera, the audio, the app are great (they keep updating the app, adding always better features). The only problem is, I don't get to see the HD quality of the camera (even via wifi connection, the quality of the picture is not like you would think); but still I think is a great little security cam.

I was an early backer of cocoon and from the beginning the information and envisaged product looked exactly what I wanted. The device was delivered and from initial set up to in use is so simply and easy to follow. Inviting additional members of the family to join the family cocoon is so simple. In use the system is great and alerts to your smartphone easy to receive and deal with.

Apparently recognizing our dogs takes some time, there are a lot of 'false positives'.
Furthermore it would be nice that before detecting 'activity' first the presence of the owners needs to be checked. If we enter the room first we see 'Activity' then 'Herman has arrived'.

Looks super.

Set up easy (once you work out that you need to have the cocoon & your mobile close together throughout).

Picks up movement in the house and seems to learn from being told what is "normal"

Video camera & playback are both work very smoothly.

Minor quibbles include not always recognising that I've left home.

But overall I have no hesitation in recommending the product.

Excellent. Works well. Little scary with first few prompts of activity in house but better there than not.

This gadget is pretty cool. You can see video from where it's placed any time. It detects who is in the house based on the location of your mobile phone. If no one is home and movement is detected you get an alert on your phone, you can view the video and set off the alarm.
The only problems is location services on our iPhones can let the system down a little. My youngest daughter's phone (iPhone 6+) tends not to update Cocoon to let it know she's home. She also has a tendency to leave her phone at home, so the alarm doesn't automatically set. Not the end of the world, you can log in & turn it on manually. My eldest daughter, iPhone SE, tends to switch off location services, or only allow it when the app is open, 'to save battery life'. That is an issue for Cocoon, location services needs to be on all the time.
Everything seems to work seamlessly for my partner and me. So as long as you let Cocoon and the phone get on with it, and don't switch off location services, it seems to work fine. Even with the issues the kids have, the app is controllable enough to work around.

Update:
The guys at Cocoon have fixed the power drain issues (I should have updated this ages ago). Once they were aware we went through a few weeks of recording battery usage under different conditions, they obviously isolated the issue, and now I can't fault the device. 5 stars.

Perfect product

Sits in my living room and can hear what is going on in other rooms, including the garage!

Bought this in the Indiegogo campaign, it seemed too good too be true but if it was half as good as it claimed it'd be good so thought I'd give it a go. It does actually detect movement right at the other side of our house!

Good and trustful product

Cocoon is a good and pretty webcam and run very well but the app needs to be improved. It can not disable the automatic armed function. It can not change the sound of the notification and would be useful in case of an alarm to send an email

Better than I expected

The technology used in this device is amazing and really cutting edge, but Cocoon have ensured that the service they provide is equal to the technology.

It was worth the wait. This sleek, easy to use device has us feeling more safe and secure already. I love that it knows when it's us that is home/out and automatically arms / disarms. No more messing about having to remember to put alarms on / off.

In use since about 2 weeks. It tells me what happens in my house when I am away. Since my family members are not connected, I am informed every day, so I know it works if some one enters my room, and the pictures are very clear.

Excellent quality unit. Very simple setup and phone app. More detailed documentation and configuration would be ideal

Live streaming can be very slow to connect regardless of your connection speed when away from home.
Myself and my wife are connected to cocoon, however i often receive alerts even when she is home.
Would be nice to be able to set times to arm the system too i.e when you go to bed.
I like the product and trust that it will get better as time goes by.

Update:
Cocoon has been in contact and have ironed out the teething issues I had.
Great company to deal with and great product.
Now ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
