Appalling service and extortionate prices. I won’t bring returning to the Canterbury branch.

We booked for the Xmas meal. Paid a deposit of £20 per head prior to the evening. When we got the final bill we queried it, thankfully because we ordered two bottles of prosecco without checking the wine menu. The deposit hadn't been taken off had it been a large group of people with a larger bill this could have been overlooked. Two bottles of prosecco came to £66.00. Our fault for not checking the wine menu. Had we checked the wine menu we would have seen that they were promoting normal prosecco as a Christmas prosecco. It was no different to a bottle I had bought recently from Tesco. The prosecco wasn't chilled. You excuse the fact that it's not chilled knowing that prosecco is popular so in high demand. But at £33 a bottle it should be ice cold! It's obvious that other people had questioned the price of the prosecco at £33.00 per bottle because of the quick response from the waiter to point out that the price is on the menu which is correct and lesson learned. What was a nice evening was spoilt by being left with the feeling that we were ripped off with the prosecco and it could have been worse at £20 per head had we not had to query the bill due to the extortionate price. I will not be visiting again and left feeling that the cosy club is out to rip the customer off. However the service was good

We went for brunch in the exeter restaurant, it was delicious, genuinely couldn't find fault with anything . We were served by a man called Ashley and he was great, polite and helpful and very attentive, thank you to him for his service and compliments to the kitchen staff for a fabulous brunch .

Went to the Chester restaurant on Saturday and I was impressed. As a vegan on many occasions the choice is burger or nut roast ( I have an allergy to nuts) nit here we had a lovely cauliflower dish followed by a chocolate torte for dessert, it was delicious. Food arrived within a short time. Service was excellent from start to finish. We would go again just not on a Saturday as it was a bit too busy and too loud for us.

Absolutely fantastic experience, definitely will go back. Food is amazing and the staff are great and friendly.

Used the Lincoln restaurant for the first time on Saturday and went back Sunday a sit was so good!

Food was delicious and the service first rate and attentive.

Not the cheapest place to eat, but you get what you pay for and this was true for both the breakfast and the dinner. Drinks reasonably priced

Came here to meet up with my children. Very disappointed with our meal.
My son and I ordered smashed avacado on toast, other son a sandwich and other one a steak meal.
Our avacado was hardly smashed!! It was under ripe and very hard with huge rock hard chunks. In fact I couldn’t eat most of it. Steak was also stone cold. Sandwich was ok. It took 45mins to arrive so was obviously left in kitchen for ages. Complete waste of money. I’ve always had good experiences before at cosy club so won’t be returning in a hurry.
Staff were very pleasant though but seemed rushed off their feet despite the fact it was not busy.

My hen do was perfect! The staff were amazing and the food was awesome. Amazing cocktails too, including non alcoholic ones! Would recommend to everyone x

7 of us ladies went this evening the food was absolutely amazing, the lady serving us was Olivia, she was so polite helpful, really lovely, the chef was clearly an amazing cook, overall 10 out of 10 we will be back soon thankyou.

I went here for my friends wedding reception and the service was excellent I would like to thank Felicity and the rest of the staff at cosy club Nottingham for all the hard work and effort in making the day special and without any problems you were all friendly and helpful the day couldn't of gone any better so thank you again
Highly recommended to anyone who hasn't been

Disappointed. Less than polite when taking my order, (there was a problem with my card, she made a big deal when I asked her to try a secondtime) the prosecco was flat (obviously been opened overnight), they forgot to process our food order, and the breakfast, when it finally arrived after half an hour, was cold.The smashed avocado was bland, and without chilli, and certainly not nearly the usual amount on the plate. A real shame, as my friend and I often come here, but we won't be rushing back!

The welcome today was a joke came here on Friday for daughter’s birthday and was a wow free birthday drinks and photo and food was out of this world but today booked table as a birthday meal and it was a joke food was crap service was crap and no offer of a free photo to remember and to top it off computer screen on till was left showing profit margins for weekend so everyone could see

Arrived on their premises in Basingstoke today, ((27/07/2023)) to carry out the service they have with us, met the Duty Manager on site today, and he was an Absolute Legend, #Very Professional, #Excellent Customer service skills, he was very helpful with us, made us feel very Welcomed.. #Assset to the Business. #Fantastic Service from Both Parties Involved.. 👍👍😊..

Went to the Manchester one near Arndale Centre. Incredibly slow service. Lots of staff - very few knew what they were doing. Sat 15 minutes at a dirty table waiting for menus. Asked a member of staff who eventually brought some. Asked to order - said he would send someone- another 5 minutes- no one. Heard another table said it took 45 minutes for their food. Got up and left. Went to Pizza Express nearby and served in minutes.

After attending Jack Whitehall we decided to go to a bar to have a drink. We thought the cosy club had a nice atmosphere so we went there (which he now regret!)

We ordered 3 Irish coffees and a cocktail. The guy looked far Impressed that he had to make coffees, with our members of staff laughing at him. The coffees came, and were below satisfactory, with the cream and coffee mixed together . I might aswell had a latte. We asked what had happened to the coffees. He was Ellie’s ‘yeah, they went wrong. We have ran out of cream and couldn’t make another one’. He said ‘do you want a refund.’ We said ‘yes please.’ He gave us the refund and took the drinks back.

I went to the bar to order another round of drinks. I was met by a non English guy, slim build, short dark hair, approx aged late 20’s. Unfortunately, I didn’t get his name. He said ‘are you sat at that table.’ I said ‘yeah.’ He replied, to my astonishment, ‘we have decided we are not going to serve you because it took us 15 mins to make the Irish coffees.’ Then he just carried on serving other customers. Not sure if he was the manager or not!

I think this is totally out of order as we received a product that was of poor quality. We were not rude and just wanted a nice drink. This has left a sour note at the end of, what was an enjoyable evening. We will not be returning!

Cheltenham one - Delicious food at great prices for what you get! The staff are always lovely and there is plenty of comfy seating.

An excellent start to the day

Cosy Club Gunwharf Portsmouth.
£16.95 Sesame Salmon, what a total rip off... it was a slice of salmon about half an inch thick plopped on top of 2 table spoons of noodles. It was a starter size.... worth about £8.
My daughter had tomato tart, again a main course but starter size, the tart was something you'd make with your 3 year old child, pre made pastry circle with tomatoes on top, served with a watercress salad ( a sprig ) and chips. When asked how the food was we told our server that the food tasted ok but it is seriously undersized and over priced, and he did not disagree.
The place is lovely and service good but I will not re-visit as you get better food for less money even in expensive places like Loch Fin or Cafe Rouge.
