Dawn Grice, a friendly member of the sales team assisted me in finding a chair suitable for my chronic, long term back pain. I was very impressed with her knowledge of the products which she demonstrated with proficiency. I appreciated being left to have a practice on my own with the rise and recline and lumber features. There was no pressure from her for me to make a decision on the spot. I went home to have a think about it, Dawn emailed me all the details including photo, dimensions, price etc which was really helpful. I returned to the store the following morning to place my order with Dawn. It was all very straightforward and hassle free. Thank you Dawn for your guidance. Looking forward to my chair arriving.

Ian Ryan on the bedding department was very knowledgeable and provided old fashioned service (the best). He helped me select the right bed and more importantly, even after securing the sale, I can't fault the after sales service.
Also bought dining table and chairs with Danny Balcerzak's help. He's someone who helped me a few years ago and is experienced and professional in his customer care and attention. Well done both of you and I highly recommend them as sales advisors. Alison A

We had been looking for a sofa for a while after having had a dreadful time with a major furniture retailer that we had used without problems before.
It was clear on walking into the store that the we would be able to find what we were looking for. We spoke briefly to Peter Williams who was incredibly helpful, friendly, polite and left us to browse. We eventually left the store, undecided, but only after Peter let us take some fabric swatches to help us make a decision. (Another major retailer had asked us to pay a ‘deposit’ when we asked if we could get fabric swatches!)
We returned to the store (with the swatches!) and we were able to speak to Peter. We were able to quickly choose our sofa in the desired fabric and Peter made the order process incredibly easy.
Very impressed with the whole store and especially Peter. Looking forward to receiving our sofa!

I’ve been visiting the store on and off for a year or so and found it unable to make a decision about 2 two seater sofas that I wanted. Over several months we have visited lots of furniture stores in the Greater Manchester area and beyond! Doorway to Value have a very large selection of the better quality sofas that we were looking for.
We visited today (3rd time) and were helped by Jason Breeze regarding the sofas we were considering and the options available for coverings etc.
Very knowledgeable guy and friendly, no heavy sell.
We made our choice and Jason went through all the paperwork and warranties/care plan etc.
Very easy process with the right assistance.

I have recently bought a sofa from here for my first home and was incredibly impressed with the whole service from start to finish, especially Ian Parr, who made the whole experience so easy and streamlined. I can highly recommend!!

Karolina helped us in choosing the right bed for our requirements.She had excellent product knowledge & a very friendly manner & we never feit pressurised at any stage.

I ordered 2+2 seater brown Nicoletti sofas in December they arrived in March only to have bright orange stitching and problems with clunking noises comming from the frames and legs on both sofas.I rejected the sofas as it was within the 30 day period I escalated to the Store Director as no one would call me back and the Store Manager is rude and only likes the sound of his own voice.

In all fairness he replaced the sofas for the same color as the one's on display so I could see what I was getting this time with no more nasty surprises the only mistake I made was not having a refund instead.

In May I recived them but after 3 1/2 months they developed 5 faults bare wood and sharpe staples sticking up down the side of one seat back legs clunking and a clunking noise in the right arm on the other sofa a loud rattling noise from behind the lumbar support and also clunking in the right arm as well.
They sent an Engineer who said they were manufacturing faults and he would have to remove the arms off both sofas split the seat and back units then remove the leather and foam off both arms and off one back unit.

I dismissed this out of hand as it was highly unlikely the leather would ever be the same and these are expensive new sofas the Store Director thinks this is a fair solution on sofas they retail for £1899 each my best worst option now is to keep them factory finished but with all the faults and if the first 3 months is anything to go buy they will be in land fill in a couple of years.

I have argued and argued there not interested in doing the right thing replacement/refund they are trying to fob me off with some cheap repair save yourself the heartache and stress and shop elsewhere.

Always a pleasure to visit Doorway to value and was not disappointed with our visit today Jason approach us in store and told us he would help us with any questions we might have in choosing our new sofa He left us alone to browse around the store and when we was ready he was there to advise us and answered all our questions We are very happy with our choice Thanks again Jason
