Having looked around many jewelry shops, I was somewhat uninspired by the diamond rings I saw on offer within my budget.

I contacted Durham Rose in a bid to get some inspiration and ideas. I wanted something different to what i had seen in the various shops I had visited.

I was contacted by Jordan and invited to a casual chat about my requirements. Jordan is a very enthusiastic, professional and friendly person and I immediately felt at ease dealing with him.

Although my input into the actual design of the ring was relatively small (compared to what I have read from other previous customer reviews), I really loved the design of the ring. The stand-out part for me was the advice Jordan gave me on specifying the band material and stone.

Communication throughout the process was fantastic. Never pressured and very relaxed.

The ring arrived beautifully packaged and presented and it far surpassed my expectations. I can't wait to propose and hand it to my girlfriend. She will love it!

The slightly daunting task of choosing an engagement ring was transformed by Durham Rose into a fantastic exciting experience. I would highly recommend them to everyone. Service of this caliber is a rarity these days!

She did an incredible job of bringing my designs to life; particularly impressive given the broad and abstract nature of my descriptions. From the first communication email, through to the telephone conversation & the computer image designs, I knew I had come to the right place. Natalie was professional, very friendly but most of all, patiant. I changed the design two or three times but I never felt like it was a problem. I gave her an idea of my budget & she stuck to it. Never trying to up-sale me. I was regularly kept informed on how the process was going from start to finish. When it arrived, I was very impressed at the way the ring was wrapped & presented. I actually filmed myself opening the package so I can show my future fiancée after I’ve popped the question. I would not hessitate in recommending your serviced to anyone looking for a very special ring.

Durham Rose have been excellent from start to finish! I gave them a design for a particular bespoke ring & it came out exactly how I wanted, if not better! My now fiancé was over the moon with the ring. The price was very competitive & I was kept upto date on the progress of the ring while it was made.

I would 100% recommend Durham Rose. My partner designed my engagement ring with Faye and he always said how helpful she was. The ring was absolutely beautiful!
I then got in contact with Durham Rose for the design process for my wedding ring, luckily I was appointed Faye. She has been so helpful and nothing has ever been too much trouble.
I also got to meet two of Faye’s colleagues both equally as friendly.

We worked with Faye to design an engagement ring, at first we were quite nervous about taking this online method of ordering a ring without seeing the final product (although DR do offer some wax options). However we were more settled once we read the reviews they have recieved. In our case they completly lived up to the reviews and we would recommend them highly.

The advice recieved by Faye was excellent, she understands ring design well and what looks good. The diamond sourced was cut to an extremly high standard. The ring manufacturing was beautiful and better than we imagined from the 3D CAD images.

For those of you who are unsure about taking the online desiging route, I would say you do have a very accurate idea of what the ring will look like from the 3D models before ordering.

The overall experience was superb and actually quite enjoyable. We are very pleased with the final product.

My experience with Durham Rose was absolutely perfect. Natalie was wonderfully helpful, and patient, and the entire process from the CAD session to the creation of the ring was quick and incredibly easy.

I was looked after by Melissa Vass who throughout the process was fantastic. From the initial design phase right through to delivery Mel was organised and extremely helpful, keeping me informed at all times. Her knowledge around the designs and sizes of stones was incredible and the final product is simply stunning.

The quality of work is 5 star and the presentation simply wonderful.

My partner and I worked with Faye at Durham Rose on designing and making my engagement ring. It was a truly wonderful experience. Faye grasped exactly the ideas I had in my head and guided me through it, I felt confident asking for her input and knowledge when I was unsure about certain design ideas I had. It was so much fun having the consultation and designing the ring, with the program they use you get such a clear picture of how the piece of jewellery will look at the end. Faye was always on hand whenever I wanted to contact her and I felt like she really cared and was like a friend. We were never pushed to spend more money than we wanted to, our design was created all within budget. I cannot recommend them highly enough, we can't wait to work with them again in the future on our wedding rings. I would fully urge anyone reading this review to book a consultation, we never felt any obligation after ours, we weren't bombarded with calls or emails pressing us to go ahead and part with money, we wanted to carry on the process of our own accord. It isn't just the design process and Faye that was faultless, the quality of the finished piece of jewellery is also exceptional and even the presentation. We are excited to recieve our album of the making of our ring, which will include a photo from our engagement, such a lovely thing to have.

To echo the sentiments of some of the other reviewers, I cannot recommend Durham Rose enough. My particular situation was that my (now) fiancée had sent me a picture of the perfect ring saying jokingly, but not, that it was the ring she wanted if we ever got engaged. It was a family heirloom, and I heard no more - I just had that one photo.

I got in touch with Manu and his team and from that one photo they perfectly recreated the ring. It's an utterly unique design and how they did it is beyond me - just from one photo. But it was perfect, she thought it was the actual ring, and loved the story. The team at Durham Rose are precise, personable and professional. The idea of a proposal ring is genius for the likes of me who wants to design with a jeweller, without blowing it! Top team, do it.

I don't normally rate anything, but Durham Rose (and specifically my consultant Melissa) really did wonders helping me make my engagement ring. The whole experience was pleasant, Melissa was courteous and professional, and my ring turned out exactly how I wanted it. During my proposal, there was a brief period where my fiance saw the ring and didn't know it was for her. She whispered that that was exactly the kind of ring she would want, so obviously they really did help me make the perfect ring for my fiance.

If I had to complain about something I would just say since I'm in the US and they are located in the UK it made meeting and talking with Melissa difficult sometimes. However, Melissa was willing to answer my emails even when it was later in the evening over there, which was above and beyond what I would have expected.

The website has Jewelers of America and some other memberships listed at the bottom of their home page, some of which you cannot find them under "Durham Rose." This seems kind of odd, but my entire experience proved that otherwise.
