Initial order of a bathroom exhaust fan took longer than the 2-3 stated days to arrive, was faulty and when requesting a replacement was told they would need to receive the faulty product returned before they could issue a replacement. I sent the replacement and sent proof as requested. 1 week later no response despite 2 follow up emails requesting for an update. It has now been a month since my initial order was placed.

Have used Electricpoint a few times now, and the deliveries have always been on time and as expected. I will be continuing to use them in the future.

Still no response after 5 days and 2 emails and a reply with contact detail on this site I will have to contact my card I’ve called them 3 times and they say email very poor sent out Hager fault spd and don’t seem to care

The absolutely worst online electrical wholesaler
Placed my order on 12 November - received part of the order 19 Novemebr which was outsourced! I have not received the rest of my order. The customer service telephone line is unmanned and a recorded message advises to send an email, as does facebook messenger - I have sent 3 emails and no response. DO NOT PURCHASE ONLINE FROM THIS COMPANY!

UPDATED - I have finally received the heaters. Apparently their supplier changed their ordering email address without telling them.
Whilst I understand things happen, I've only increased the rating by 1 star as there was still no excuse for not calling me back after my first call and not to hear anything for a month.
Not delivered, not answering phone or replying to email
I placed an order on 20th October and expected two heaters to be delivered a couple of days later. I called to chase last week and was told someone would call me back in an hour. No-one did.
I have tried numerous times to call since then but no-one is picking up the phone. I have also emailed but had no response.
We are a small, community organisation who are unable to afford to buy more heaters until these are either delivered or refunded. We currently have wellbeing groups either meeting in the cold or cancelling their sessions altogether resulting in us losing funds and participants losing the support they desperately need.
Terrible service. I only hope that this review gets me a response!

The worst electrical wholesaler I have used, ordered with super fast delivery, a week later I get an email saying there are items missing, dont respond to emails, phone line never gets answered. If you run an electrical company, avoid these guys.

Check they actually have the items in stock before paying. I used this company as items were showing to be in stock. After taking my money and no communication as to when the order would be dispatched, I chased them. Order then arrived incomplete, after another week of chasing another shipment arrived. It would seem I was being fobbed off whilst items were order straight from the manufacturer. I could of done this through my local electrical wholesalers! Still waiting for the rest of the order, if they were to dispatch this tomorrow, which they won't. The whole process would have taken nearly 3 weeks. How can you provide a service for customers if you have no idea 1. When items will arrive 2. If the order will be complete when I finally does arrive. Stick to your local wholesalers.

Replied to my faulty product message straight away. Directed me to the manufacturer. Who was very unhelpful. I went back to Electricpoint. Who advised me to return the faulty product to them. A return post e-mail was sent for the return.
I returned the large heater free of charge and this has been replaced within a week for a brand new heater. Great customer service by Gary Davies

Terrible Service from this company.
I ordered the items over a week ago and still no sign of arrival. Despite me chasing up the order over the phone and being given the runaround by their staff I’ve had to finally cancel the order today . I’ve now purchased the items locally to get the job done .
I now expect I’ll have to chase up my refund so watch this space for my update .

I have spent well over £1000 with electricpoint in the last month. On the first order they sent the wrong breakers that I had ended up having to get from a local wholesaler to do the job.
On the second order they sent me another wrong item. I spoke to one of the team and I don't know who, who said that he would dispatch the correct item immediately and to leave the incorrect item that he picked on the porch for a driver to collect.
Then when I ring up 7 days later I get accused of being a liar and that electric point would never have said this and to go through the correct process on the website, unbelievable! What happened to the customers always right?

Placed an order with this ‘company’ on the 20/10/25. Website stated 2-3 delivery. No sign of it after the 2-3 days as per their website. Absolutely no correspondence from them regarding any delay. I asked for an update 23,24/10/25 to which I received no reply. I asked again on 27/10/25, I did receive a reply eventually on 28/10/25 to which to which I was told I could expect the items on the 30/10/25. I replied to this email asking where the issue was and wishing to make a complaint etc. I yet again received I response to this email. I’m also yet to receive the items I was promised on the 30/10/25. So I’m here 10 working days later without the items. This company is absolutely terrible. I can’t describe the customer service as awful because it’s actually non existent. Don’t waste your time and money chasing your products around just go somewhere else. If anyone actually reads these reviews from electric point I have a full email trail of this saga. I can honestly say this is the worst company I’ve ever dealt with and I’m amazed that they continue to trade.
*Update* After emailing Matt Leicester on the email address provided in the reply to my total shock I’ve had no reply… I very much doubt that Matt Leicester is actually a real person at this stage and further illustrates quite how bad this company and their customer service is. It literally doesn’t exist. Its embarrassing how bad they are. There is no complaints process I will look to contact ANEW from now on. Do not use this joke of a company.

I’m writing to express my disappointment with the customer service I received from your team today. I received a call regarding an item I had already returned, yet I was told that my refund could not be issued.
The person I spoke with was extremely rude and unprofessional. He spoke over me, didn’t allow me to explain my situation, and when I said I would not shop with your company again, he replied, “I’m not bothered.” I find it unacceptable for a representative to speak to a customer in this way.
I’ve spent £500 on your website because I trusted your service, but this experience has left me feeling completely let down. The representative even hung up while I was still trying to explain my point.
I will not be shopping with your business again and will make others aware of my experience. I would still appreciate it if someone from management could review this issue and ensure it’s properly addressed.

I ordered an ev charger, no where kn the website did it say it was out of stock.
The confirmation email went into my junk mail, and on it it explained that it would be between 5-6 working days before they got stock of this item. This should have been clearer as I had booked an electrician to come and install the item and it wouldn't arrive in time.
I rang and was encouraged to cancel my order and they would initiate a refund...which could take 5 working days to go through. The item I bought was around £400 so I didn't have the money to purchase from someone else until the refund had cleared.
Really disappointing that the company would sell items they dont have stock of without making it explicitly clear on their website.

Online order Thurs morning. Got to Monday morning and its still at packing. Phoned and was told it would be delivered tomorrow (Tuesday) The 'free delivery' icon on their site is misleading in that it says next to it 1-2 days. It doesn't mention that its 1-2 days AFTER they've packed it. IF our part turns up in time I'm going to have to take 1h out of my working day to take it to the job. If it doesn't, then the electrician is going to have to return to site to finish the job later. Both of which put stress on our already tight schedule AND annoys my customer. Very dissapointed with how unhelpful the person on the phone was. Best he could do is offer to cancel and refund the order, and rather than be apologetic, his tone suggested he couldn't give two hoots.

I have received a very quick and efficient reply to an enquiry about a faulty downlight, giving a clear and logical series of steps to follow in order to obtain a replacement. The sales team representative was extremely helpful and courteous in their reply.
