definitely a scam please make people aware of this before calling. Took over an hour to get to me, tried to charge me £200 for unlocking a door as I’d locked myself out, the job took a few seconds to achieve. He tried to charge me a ‘call out fee’ until I said it says on the website no call out fee and then he changed his tune. He could tell I wasn’t about to pay as I had said that’s too much money, he then said he would charge me the call out fee if I didn’t let him do the job. I wanted 5 minutes to make a phone call to discuss this as I thought I was being scammed. I had to go charge my phone in my car as it was dead, he followed me within a minute to my car complaining of wasting his time, yet he said he would get to me in 15 mins when I initially phoned and never gave me a rough price. He was so rude, spoke to me like I was stupid. Said it would be more money if he did damage to the lock, just for a simple pick? He literally used a rake pick to open the door. I don’t know how he and the women on the phone can sleep at night. I don’t think the company is real whatsoever, I’m taking this further with the police and my bank. I encourage everyone who has been robbed to do the same! They take advantage of vulnerable people who are locked out, I’m only a young girl with a weird man I didn’t feel comfortable to have him stick around longer so I paid him more than I get paid in two days for a 2 second job, just unbelievable I am distraught.

Panicked when locked out at night so called the first number that came up. Big mistake. Quoted £485 when they turned up, then ended up being £748. Lesson learned!

The absolute worst. Do NOT use this company. They are not professionals and they do not know how to do the job. I was locked in my flat and instead of just removing the lock, they drilled into my door and caused damaged to it, and then did not replace the lock. Stay well clear.

They are simply scammers, please don't use them. We were charged £528 and they only changed the barrel, and the barrel was the wrong size. They don't respond to complaints either over the phone or email. I am going to trading standards and you should too if you have been ripped off by them. The fitter totally took advantage of my wife's vulnerable situation as she was locked out while I was away. They charged us £199 for a lock but didn't fit a lock, only the barrel. £89 fallout fee, even though the website says "no call out fee". Charged us £270 in labour and even though he was there for 30 minutes.

They gave me a different quote over the phone, and when they arrived, they charged almost 4x more than the quote I was given, which was £49. The task was to unlock the bedroom door of our student accomodation, but they've completely changed it. The man who arrived was rude and confrontational.
They kept saying that the job was not a simple lock so they had to increase the prices. He's hacked away at my friend's door, which we rent as students, and this was a stressful situation for us as we now have to explain this to our landlord. I spoke to the man at the house over the phone and he was very rude, kept cutting me off and threatened to take the new lock that he had fitted out of the door and leave with the parts.

I tried calling the lady back on the phone, but nobody answered; they just let it ring out. Had to get another one of my friends to call, and they answered immediately. When I finally got through, I had to argue on the phone with the lady for a while; she would not give me the number to the manager and very clearly was trying to get me off the phone.

I will be reporting their company to the proper authorities. They are untrustworthy scammers, do not trust the reviews on their website!

They are not transparent with their pricing.
I was quoted one amount over the phone, but when the job was done, I was charged nearly four times more. This kind of pricing practice feels very misleading and unfair.

After spending time on the phone to direct him to my address, he originally quoted me £49 over the phone and then when he saw the lock, £250 to replace the lock- involving drilling or kicking down the door. When confronted that this was not quoted, the man became defensive and aggressive that this is what he needed to do, or get paid regardless for his time.

On the website they say no call-out charge, but since it was after hours he insisted we pay before he leaves. It was me, a female and another female, who felt threatened locked out of our house at 11pm locked in with a large, agressive man with nobody else around, nor neighbours. I paid him and he left. I wish I had called the police- utter scam. Reviews on website must be fake.

I asked for a receipt for my landlord and he emailed one to me that I double checked. Later I try to open the “PDF” sent and it turned out to be fake.

I’m a bit shaken up now. Please learn from all of our mistakes within these reviews.

One of the operatives of this company came to my home to help me get into my home, as my front door key had broken in the lock. Their website gave the impression that they were a reliable company, with several good reviews of their work.
He drilled a hole into the door to gain access to the lock and remove it. However, I later learnt that it was not necessary to drill, as the lock can be easily picked to get the piece of the key out. He replaced the unit for the ERA lock, but this part was not new and came with no new keys. The whole operation took about 40 minutes.
He charged me £325 for the replacement lock and a total of £208 for the labour.
I have since found out that a replacement ERA lock, with all the relevant accessories can be bought for a price of under £30. In addition, the cost of the amount of the labour used to carry out the work should have been less than half of the amount I was charged for.
I cannot understand why I paid for this work. On the receipt, the company listed is All 4 U Services. He said the work came with a year's guarantee, but there is no indication on the receipt of this.
This bill is ridiculously excessive.

Wish I could give them 0 stars. Biggest scammers ever. I called and checked the price to unlock and they gave me a different price and charged us a lot more than quoted. I should have called the police. The worst people ever. Really hope they get into trouble for being such a horrible scammer

Emergency locksmith 24, are legally getting away with ripping people off!
This company goes under many many different company names. The owner Alexandru Alin Francuig is listed down of companies House. Therefore they are a legal company operating in the UK.
However, they are over charging people and applying extortionate prices for simple work that is carried out. They tend to use intimidating tactic. I was female alone and followed into my front room by six foot something eastern European guy leaning over my shoulder to ask for the money for the job.
I felt quite nervous and intimidated so I paid the money as I wanted him out of my house.
Job took less seconds than it takes to boil a kettle. On the generic receipt he tried to charge callout charge, I pointed out it clearly states on website no call out charge. By reading many many reviews they are trying to do this to everybody. He crossed it off the receipt and my bill came to £218.00
There was no mention of any prices on the phone call, only asked for my postcode which was a eastern european ladies voice. Few minutes later eastern european man voice phoned me to confirm postcode and said would be there in 35 minutes. Again no mention of any prices.
Because I was alone and it was heading towards tea time and getting dark soon and I could not close my door I panicked and googled locksmith in my area. The first one that came up said was in my area and tapped on it which obviously brought this company up first. And that's when I made the call.
I've tried to report it to the police but they are not interested and said it would have to come from trading standards as a crime report. so I shall be pursuing this as I've sent many emails to the company asking for partial refund of £100.00 and that's me being a fair person. Alexandru Alin Francuig has not acknowledged any of my emails at all. Having researched and chatted to various locksmiths and priced up the barrel lock this job was well overpriced and should have cost no more than £80/£90 maximum. The barrel lock in itself costs approximately £10 to £15 pounds only.

I got scammed by this company.
I called them to unlock my door, but the guy damaged the lock, drilled it out, and then charged £200.00 for a new one, plus £95.00 for the service totalling £350 (Inc VAT). I felt pressured to pay a I was alone at home with my child.
This company is untrustworthy!

Called them requesting assistance as the mrs locked us out.

On the phone wouldn’t give a price said the guy will quote you when he gets there.

I was a little concerned but then I thought maybe they need to see the type of door before quoting…

Never the less got there in about 15 minutes
Said it can’t be picked and would have to drill the lock which would cost £150

I knew it could be picked and there is a way of doing it, guy was just trying to make a quick buck.

I said no it’s ok forget it I will find another solution.

He then demands a £40 call out fee.

I made clear I didn’t agree a price over the phone
There was no mention of a call out fee therefore I am not at liberty to pay.

It states on the websites no call out fees.

I told him to leave and after about 40 minutes he did.

I called the office and said if you don’t get your guy to get off my property I will be calling the police he then said his calls are recorded I said good you have no leg to stand on.

Avoid at all costs they are definitely out to steal from the vulnerable.

I had accidentally locked me & my partner out of her house whilst taking the bins out as it was a door that only opens from the outside with a key. She was upset and distressed so she used my phone as hers was inside to search up an emergency local locksmith and found this company as the first to come up. Read on the website that there were “no call out fees” only labour charges from £39 and lock prices from £25 (an affordable price). Says on website a locksmith will arrive in up to 30 minutes, we waited nearly an hour. And when we explained the situation to the operator on the phone they didn’t give a quote. Once he did arrive he didn’t have any equipment that could open a door without damaging the door/frame or locks. Only solution suggested was to drill and fit a new lock and was charging £140 to drill and £89 to fit a new lock. This wasn’t feasible as we’ve known other people with similar doors who had only had to pay £60 or £70 to solve at most. Turns out a neighbour across the street said that there’s a mechanism in the door that can be released to open from the outside if you’re able to get something within the frame. The locksmith gave us a crowbar and just stood aside and watched as my partners mum managed to get the door mechanism released without any damage or defects caused and the door was open. We asked him what would the charge be as we were willing to pay the labour charge mentioned on site (£39) as he didn’t actually do anything besides give a suggestion and hand us a crowbar. The man wanted £140. We were not happy with this as he said it would cost £140 to drill the door and he didn’t have to. He said it was the call out fee. Again, the company lists on its website that there are no call out fees only labour charges and lock fees. We rang the number for the company and the operator basically parred us off and said well if that’s what he says it is then that’s what it is and hung up. Locksmith then said it was actually the labour fee, wouldn’t leave without payment and wouldn’t accept £39, £50 or even £60 for payment. We’ve never needed a locksmith before so in terms of prices we’re not familiar but the bloke didn’t actually touch the door nor get it open. We paid his asking price to get him out of our hair as we were thankful that the situation was solved and he was just sat on the drive and wouldn’t leave but upon reading these reviews we were definitely scammed and taken advantage of in a vulnerable position as we thought we would be in trouble if we didn’t pay. Do not ring this company and get caught in the rush of the moment like we did…

we have an automatic locking door and my partner accidentally shut the door behind us all with the keys in the other side. called these people and some bloke came out. had no equipment and just stood there whilst my mum opened it with his crow bar then told to pay him £140 when he literally did nothing. we just paid so he would leave. don't use these people they are absolutely trash. bro said 'labour fee' for standing there watching my mum do it LMAO. also, as a law student i will be looking into what i can do to get the money back. thank YEWWW. xoxo.

Someone arrived in about 35 mins.
They said the only option was to drill out the lock.
I asked if that would damage the door and he said yes.
It was not what I needed, a different company were able to solve the problem with no damage at all, no drilling.
Don’t use this company, it’s a scam.
Also the man was using a phone to translate what I was saying, so we could not communicate at all.
They asked for a £49 call out fee, I could not pay as I felt scammed, and didn’t get mentioned on phone when I asked about price. However, they did leave without payment.

Called them and said it would be £49 for them to open my door as me and my partner were locked out… got told 30 minute wait so i waited… called them again and was advised the lock picker would call me and he said 20 minutes…
45 minutes later he arrives and ‘analyses’ the lock after a split second and says it’s a anti pick lock and requires a drill to open it which he then proceeded to say it’ll cost £150 after being told it would be £49 on the phone. Obviously said no, would rather stay out in the night than have a scammer rip me off my money.

Avoid these people, they don’t care and their customer service is non existent.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Quoted on the website arrival in under 30 mins and £49 charge no extras and the locksmith would call when he’s on the way. Called them back after 30 mins of nothing. The locksmith then called and said he would be 10-15 minutes and price would be approx double what the call centre said. Over another 30 minutes (1hr total) later no sign of him. Tried calling no answer. He text to said he was on the phone and he’d be another 10 minutes so I cancelled him as I read the reviews at this point. Called the call centre and explained and they hung up on me. Always Google trust pilot first as would have saved me so much time !!

I had an extremely unsatisfactory experience with a service that charged me £75 for a job that took only one minute. This feels like an exploitation of customers. My garage door became stuck due to weather conditions, and after several unsuccessful attempts to open it, I contacted an emergency locksmith service for assistance. A technician arrived, assessed the situation, and forcefully pressed the door handle, which resulted in the door opening. The entire process took merely two minutes, yet I was billed £75, leaving me quite disappointed with the company's practices. I have an video evidence of the time the guys spent.
