I was surprised and validated
I was surprised and validated. I was shocked to find a food I eat multiple times a week wasn't on my recommended foods. My metabolism results validated why I can drink an energy drink late at night and still fall asleep an hour later, or how I can make one alcoholic drink last forever.

Not using app was problematic
It was not helpful that the demo was based on the web whereas I, and I'd bet many others, were using the app. It was confusing. Had to click around to find out where in the app she was and it wasn't very intuitive.

Unfortunately I was very disappointed
Unfortunately I was very disappointed. The screen remained white the entire time so I only received audio. Also, the presenter would continuously sat "uhm" and therefore, came across as not very knowledgeable. Perhaps because I only had audio. Nevertheless, you should get someone who doesn't say "uhm" every 2 seconds. Very unprofessional!

I thought this was very confirming to…
I thought this was very confirming to the way my body likes to eat and what I perceive is healthy. My concern is a high calcium scan and cholesterol which GenoPalate doesn’t know and my conflict was the red meat that it recommends for my DNA and Canoloa oil. Other than these 2 concerns I think it was fabulous. I also wished it had enough sample to give me an alcohol review.

I found Kaitland to be extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. I felt confident if everything she was saying. She answered my question on what formula to use to change my percentages to grams! I'm eager to learn more and hope to jump in again as a refresher on a web call.

Genopalate was very thorough!
Genopalate was very thorough and gave me information and insight i wasn't even expecting. It told me I was likely to be sensitive to gluten, and knowing that, I could test it, and figured out the reason I was so bloated all the time! There's a lot of other useful things as well, but at this point this is the biggest deal for me!

GenoPalate is a complete and total…
GenoPalate is a complete and total waste of my money. The report was ridiculously generic and incorrect. I have been diagnosed by a GI with celiac disease and lactose intolerance— both come up as unlikely on my report. My top cheese was cottage cheese, which, in real life, causes me all kinds of irritation and GI issues.
I’d hoped this would help me resolve chronic stomach problems and it was a total bust. Don’t be a fool like I was — save your money and see a real nutritionist.

While there are common ideas regarding the health of each food, GenoPalate takes each individual food and your unique genetics to determine food recommendations. This was very helpful in clearing up some confusion I had around the GenoPalate results. I understand now that the foods chosen are more centered around the nutrients that my body needs. I’m sorry to say I am not technological! For some reason I got in but every time I went to look for my report I had to sign back in!
I don’t think I receive the full report that could be printed out so I felt I could not follow along.

No audio. I downloaded the WebEx app - as instructed - but there was no sound. I do not find the GenoPalate ‘experience’ user friendly at all. I was planning on gifting my two nephews a GenoPalate analysis but after my unsatisfactory experience I am looking for a different purveyor.

I don’t think the GenoPalate is legit
I don’t think the GenoPalate is legit. They tell me to eat peanuts, but I have a sensitivity to them. They tell me to eat 60% carbs, but when I do I get bloated. There’s lots of things they suggest I eat that just don’t line up with my experience inside my own body. I don’t think their science works at this point.

I just got my results back and am very…
I just got my results back and am very disappointed. Genopalate told me I could process caffeine better than most. I quit drinking caffeine when I was pregnant and breast feeding, when I tried adding it back to my diet in small amounts, I had rapid heartbeat and couldn’t sleep. I sent my DNA from Ancestry to Gini for a free analysis and was told I could only process one to two cups of caffeine a day. I know by experience this is accurate and is in direct contrast to what Genopalate told me. I now have no confidence that anything I’ve been told by Genopalate is accurate. I also found that the food recommendations were of very little value. There was simply a list with no information as to why one food might be preferable over another. Several of the foods were ones I have never heard of.
