Everything was great but I need to change my payment date. Not sure how to do it. Any advice? Update.. they emailed me 20 minutes after this review and all was sorted.

Not a great experience so far..

Not a great experience so far..

Five of my customers have applied for finance and all 5 have been rejected which is frustrating . Some of which have good credit scores. Going to try another Company and see how I get on.

Avoid – funds withheld due to their own admin error

I used Kanda Finance once for a customer and will never use them again. They let me use their platform for 8 months, showing my subscription as £0/month, and never once told me a payment was missing.

When my customer’s finance payout came through, Kanda withheld £900 of my money, claiming I hadn’t paid a subscription. I later got written confirmation from Premium Credit that no subscription was ever even set up until August 2025 – proving this was entirely Kanda’s own administrative error.

Despite this, Kanda demanded I sign up to a brand-new £108/month, 12-month plan before they would release MY money. This money was owed to suppliers and staff, and being forced to wait has caused real stress and financial difficulty.

I was willing to resolve any genuine charges fairly, but withholding funds as leverage is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

If you are a small business, avoid Kanda Finance – they are unreliable, misleading, and quick to blame their mistakes on you.

EDIT: this is adding to the reply, a lot of that you have stated in the reply is a lie! I never once refused to pay anything and i have used the service once in 5 months, not 8 as you stated, I have never refused to pay, I will pay the arrears that are due, once you can legitimately send me invoices, but you can’t do that as no premium credit agreement was ever set up, I also have these emails stating when my account was live (March). A lot of lies in this reply isn’t good and will strengthen my case in court, my formal complaint was never listened to or even sent to your complaints department which is also noted.
I have my emails and screenshots to prove all I have stated is true , this has also been screenshot for the county court claim I have made. Thanks

Let’s set the record straight.

You signed up for a 12-month subscription at £108 per month, totalling £1,296 over the year. You used the platform for 8 months without making a single payment.

When your customer’s finance payout was triggered, we withheld £900. This was less than the full amount owed under your contract. We chose to withhold the equivalent of the discounted annual fee rather than the full £1,296 to be fair.

After that, your dashboard showed £0 per month. Not because the plan was ever free, but because a portion of your unpaid balance had been recovered.

We offered you the option to reinstate your monthly subscription, exactly as agreed in your contract, and have the £900 released. You declined.

We do not take holding funds lightly. But using a service for months, benefiting from it, and refusing to pay while claiming you were unaware isn’t just inaccurate, it’s unfair to the contractors who do things properly.

Kanda is here to help contractors grow their business, and we will always back those who meet us in good faith and honour their agreements.

I applied for finance with Kanda which…

I applied for finance with Kanda which got declined they now keep bombarding me with unwanted emails no matter how many times I ask them to stop and remove my details. I’m actually thinking of seeking legal action now
