Quick and efficient service from Glotech
Booked in on the Tuesday afternoon and scheduled an engineer the following day. Aimen called me first thing to let me know he was on his way, came and fixed the problem . Tidy, respectful and very efficient service and I like that you can book online and it's a fixed call out price. I will definitely use Glotech again.

claims to carry out miele…repairs but does not
the company claims to carry out miele washing machine repairs this is why I chose them even though their call out charges are extortionate.I explained what the fault was so it was clear what had to be done and the engineer visited and then said he couldn't repair it and charged £143 for his time.I think they should have been honest and said they couldn't repair it, as did the other repair companies.
I am dealing with your st Albans office and they have offered me a £15 refund which is frankly offensive

We’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with the outcome of your appointment, particularly given the cost of the attendance and your expectation that we would be able to complete the repair.
We can assure you that our engineers are trained to work on Miele appliances, and they also have access to our Head of Technical, who has over 40 years of experience in appliance repairs, including Miele machines. While some faults can be more complex than initially anticipated, our engineers will always do their best to thoroughly inspect the appliance and establish whether a repair is possible, rather than ruling it out without a proper assessment.
Unfortunately, we haven’t been able to locate your booking from the information provided in your review, so we’re unable to comment on the specific circumstances of your visit. However, our office team are not qualified engineers and cannot always determine whether a repair can be completed based on a description of the fault alone. An engineer’s attendance allows the appliance to be properly inspected and a professional assessment made based on their findings.
We appreciate that you were disappointed with the advice given following the inspection, and we’re sorry that we weren’t able to provide the outcome you had hoped for. If you could contact our office with your booking details, we would welcome the opportunity to review your case and address your concerns further.

Glotech is uninterested in repairing your appliance; they simply want to book a visit and charge the up-front fee. Avoid at all costs.
I must express my disappointment at Glotech's continued misrepresentation of the events surrounding my complaint with them.
Frankly, Glotech should be ashamed of providing such misleading information and attempting to portray this matter as having been satisfactorily resolved when that is clearly not the case.
Glotech's statement that the appliance was successfully repaired in 2024, followed by an entirely separate and unrelated fault, is your interpretation of events, which I strongly dispute. I paid for a repair; within a short time, the machine developed the same fault. I booked a visit to rectify why the same fault returned; for this, Glotech demanded another payment to which I have not agreed.
Furthermore, your reference to offering a significant discount does not address the fundamental issue of my complaint: **the quality and effectiveness of the repair service provided, the justification for additional charges, and Glotech's handling of my concerns.**
Most importantly, I would like to remind you that I specifically requested that this dispute be reviewed by an **independent third party** to ensure a fair and impartial assessment of the circumstances. Despite my request, Glotech has never provided details of an independent dispute resolution body or explained how I could refer my complaint for an impartial review.
This failure is particularly disappointing given your continued insistence that the matter has been resolved.

We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way, although we would like to clarify the history of your previous repair with us.
Our records show that we successfully repaired your appliance in 2024. Later that year, a separate fault developed, unrelated to the original issue, and we explained that a new labour fee would apply to investigate and repair this additional problem. We appreciate that this was not the outcome you were hoping for, but our team discussed the situation with you at length and made efforts to help, including offering a significant discount towards the cost.
The matter was resolved in 2024, and we have no record of any further repair bookings under your name since then. We therefore feel it is unfair to suggest that our intention is simply to charge for visits without repairing appliances, particularly when our records confirm that we successfully completed your original repair.
We remain committed to providing effective repairs and clear advice to our customers, and we’re sorry that your experience left you with a different impression.

Broken freezer
We live in Godalming in Surrey and our freezer was making a horrible loud humming noise and we were worried it was about to break. So we contacted Glotech to come out and have a look. William came this morning, and fixed the issue, Ice had built up behind the back panel and around the fan which he managed to clear. He was very friendly and efficient and tidied up after finishing and we are thrilled to have a working freezer for Christmas! We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Glotech and William! Thank you!

Washing Machine Leak
I had a terrible leak from my washing machine which was going through to the lobby of the block of flats where I live.
My usual repair man was busy on a job for 4 weeks which clearly was not acceptable, so I found Glotech on line and took a chance.
I have now crossed out the name of my former repair man!
They came the next day, were polite and tidy, found the faults within an hour and as luck would have it, they had the spare hose on board their van which replace the split one which caused the problem.
Job done.
They are now in my phone book and I will not hesitate to use them for any other machines they cover when and if needed.
