Their tracking is useless. They update when it's picked up, but it seems shipments can spend many days in transit with no scans reported. Even the departure info doesn't give a location

Worst Experience Ever!

This is the worst service I have ever received!
Their tracker indicated that they had delivered my package and provided two pictures of someone else's front door of "proof of delivery".

After emailing and calling them to explain that I could see my parcel on the front step of my next door neighbour, they said they would go and retrieve it and bring it to my home. When I called again in a couple of days, they claimed they went there twice to retrieve it and no one was home. I know that this was not accurate as they left it on the neighbour's front step and this was a door that they never use. If they returned to the house, as they claimed, they would have seen the package still on the front step as I could see it from the road as I drove by.
They lied again when they told the sellers that my package had already been delivered. I called every day for seven days and nothing happened.
When my neighbour brought it to my house 11 days after it being left on their step, a GLS representative called me. I thought he was calling to apologize but he said they put great effort in delivering my package and took no ownership for their mistakes. He only said, "I am sorry you feel that we did nothing".

Falsified delivery scans and zero accountability

If I could give zero stars, I would. My experience with GLS Canada today was nothing short of dishonest.

I was expecting a high-value package and explicitly stayed home all day to receive it. At the end of the day, my tracking suddenly updated to claim a delivery attempt was made and a 'notice card was left.' This is entirely fabricated. I was home, there was no knock, no doorbell, and no physical card was ever left at my door. The driver simply falsified the system scan from their truck to avoid making the stop.

Because of this blatant lie, my shipment is now delayed right before a 4-day long holiday weekend. When you go to their website to try and manage the delivery or arrange a terminal pickup, the system is completely locked down—there are no digital options to redirect a package, only a useless 'Print' button on the tracking page.

A courier company is only as good as the honesty of its drivers and the functionality of its tracking system. GLS Canada fails miserably on both fronts. I have opened a dispute with the merchant and filed a formal complaint. Do not trust them with anything valuable.

Thieves

Thieves. Ordered two packages. The cheaper one was delivered and this was caught on my doorbell camera. They fraudulently signed saying it was me and never delivered the bigger package and claimed they did. They signed for both, however the second package has still never made it's way to my door. 13 days later the driver appears at my door to tell me that he dropped off both. I told him that's a lie and show him a video of him with only one package. He was silenced and left; claiming it was a mistake. Still don't have my package and I may take this even further because they are clearly theives. Frustrating experience.

They said they attempted a delivery but never came and no paper no info at my door. They arent sure where my package is but tell me they will deliver tomorrow when I'm not there ? They accepted me to come pick up my package tomorrow and I feel like I will loose my time there too.

Horrible customer service

Delivery was attempted at 11:51 pm per their own sheet. Confirmed by cameras no tracking number no nothing and the lady argues on the phone that that wasn't the time. Worst customer service

This is definitely the worst delivery service on the planet,they must have a bunch of morons running this company,they can,t be trusted to even ship a bag of rice,out for delivery for 3 days,it's here no its not here,it's coming maybe in 1 or 2 or 3 or 4 days,if it not there notify us we will help,it's in your area,it's just about there,no wait I think it's still coming,I cancelled it days ago,it's still coming,what a bunch of BS,WHY IS THIS COMPANY STILL IN BUSINESS?

If I could select zero stars I would

If I could select zero stars I would. We ordered something online 3 weeks ago. The product made 2 “wrong turns” according to the tracking and now nobody has an answer on where the package is. They keep saying they will call back but they never do. This past week they have been trying to figure out how to get it from their terminal in Regina to our town in Flin Flon, MB. If you are not capable of delivering to northern communities don’t accept the package we have several other options for carriers here. This is the first and last time we will ever deal with GLS.

This company is terrible

This company is terrible, the service is slow. i have my products stucked in the Toronto for 4 days now and they used the weather for excuse. weather in Toronto is clear and is 14C, Do not use any company that use this service

The worst service ever

The worst service ever. It was supposed to be delivered on Thursday, and I waited all day and nothing arrived. The next day, I stayed home, and I assumed they would have come and left a note on my door or somewhere, but there was nothing. I called to file a complaint, and they were supposed to call me back. They never did, and they're closed on weekends. It's unacceptable to do business with such a terrible company that can't deliver and provide good customer service.

Très très mauvais service à fuir je…

Très très mauvais service à fuir je vous le dis à fuir, depuis le 11 février ma commande est sorti pour être livrée et comme par magie chaque soir elle retourne en transit mdr c’est quoi ce service incompétent on est aujourd’hui le 21 toujours on me sort la même phrase vous serez livré aujourd’hui bah toujours rien

J'aurais mis zéro étoile

J'aurais mis zéro étoile mais on me l'interdit bref....plusieurs mois d'attente pour un colis perdu (confirmé par GLS)... d'une valeur de $300 pour au final avoir droit à un remboursement de $4 qui ne couvre même pas les frais d'envoi...plus JAMAIS je ne ferai affaire avec cette compagnie et les références seront médiocre...même a mon emploi principale je m'occupe du shipping et plus JAMAIS ils ne seront une option ...très mauvais service

De vrais incompétents.

La cie te fait croire qu'il y a un problème avec ton adresse en t'envoyant une capture d'écran. Tu confirmes que l'adresse est exempte d'erreur. Après, la cie ne fait pas de vraie tentative de livraison et vient te coller un avis sur lequel il est écrit, en SHARPIE baveux, que la date de tentative de livraison est le 26 janvier 2022 quand on est en 2026. Tu demandes au service à la clientèle une nouvelle tentative en fournissant le no laissé sur l'avis, mais on te dit que le no est erroné. Au final, la cie se décharge complètement de son incompétence.

Absolutely the worst and I do not…

Absolutely the worst and I do not recommend anyone ship anything with them! My package was picked up the 13th and didn't even leave their facility ( in Alberta) until the 15th. It's now the 26th ( of january) and I STILL don't even have my package. SIX times , including today they used weather as why it's been delayed, yet the roads are not that bad and every other delivery service is out today. This company is God awful and I fully expect they will no longer be a company within the next year or two.
