Simply incompetent
Simply incompetent. Spoke to a real person at customer service about leaving package at my door, they said they would so long as I replied to their email seeking authorization to do so. I did, and they confirmed. Next thing I know is they sent it back to the sender, which is out of the country. This, after it had already cleared customs. The sender reached out to me yesterday and said they would refund me, which is good of them. They also said that they are stopping using GLS as a courier for reasons like this… can’t say I blame them.
Extremely poor experience with GLS
Extremely poor experience with GLS. A package was marked as delivered with “signature required,” yet my building’s concierge, security, and management all confirmed they did not receive or sign for any delivery. Security camera footage shows that no GLS delivery occurred at the stated time.
There was no photo proof of delivery, no advance notice that a signature would be required, and no delivery confirmation email. Despite this, GLS continues to rely on an internal signature record that cannot be verified by the recipient or the building.
This situation caused significant inconvenience and stress, especially as the package was intended as a meaningful gift. The lack of transparency, accountability, and effective resolution is unacceptable.
I would strongly caution others against using GLS based on this experience.

I have been waiting for my package…
I have been waiting for my package since the first week of December. I’ve tried multiple times to contact GLS, but no one seems interested in responding or helping. It has now been over a month, and I am still waiting for my package with no updates, no support, and no accountability.
I honestly don’t know what to do anymore. This is extremely disappointing, especially since the items are worth over $200. GLS keeps directing customers to contact assistance**@gls-canada.com, but don’t waste your time — no one ever gets back to you.
This has been one of the worst delivery experiences I’ve had. Completely unacceptable service.

GLS is lying about the delivery
I sent the package to Amazon, but it was returned to me. GLS claimed that Amazon only accepts returns via UPS, Purolator, and Canada Post, which is not true. I have requested a refund from GLS and am currently waiting for a response.
Pire service de livraison
Mon numéro de suivi n’a jamais marché. J’ai découvert mon colis au milieu de la cour avant dans la neige aucune trace de pas autour. Il avait été lancé de la rue sur une distance de 25 pieds. Aucun avis comme quoi le colis avait été livré non plus. Une chance que le marchand avait bien emballé, c’était un article de poterie fait à la main, il est heureusement intact.

Company doesn't know where my product is after is sat in a warehouse for a week, then sent 2 hours in the opposite direction to sit for a few more days in another warehouse. Three phone calls to customer service and one online form, no reply. Worst company service, and the online tracking system is just a joke.
Awful delivery company
Awful delivery company. They will lie so they don't have to deliver. Don't let them get away with it. If you Amazon vendor uses GLS, leave a negative review about the shipping experience.
Terrible company
Terrible company. They don’t actually deliver packages they just stick delivery notices on the door. The hotline doesn’t work, and messages don’t work either. It’s impossible to contact them, and basically impossible to pick up your own package.

I had a very bad experience working on delivery routes connected with this company. I completed my work, but payment was not handled properly, and I had to keep following up to get paid.
There was no clear agreement or proper communication, and responsibility was pushed around instead of resolving the issue professionally. This caused unnecessary financial stress.
I would not recommend GLS Canada to anyone looking for delivery work.

Heureusement que l'on peux pas mettre zéro étoile...parce que je l'aurais fait....un chauffeur qui n'est pas capable de scanner 4 colis partant de mon entreprise et qui dit l'avoir fait.....non.....moi je nomme ça du vol......pure et simple.....Le chauffeur qui fait la région de Lotbinière incluant St Apollinaire est un cabochon et incapable de faire correctement son emploi.. wow.....après on doit se débrouiller pour faire une réclamation ...criss de compagnie de briche à foin..

Le livreur a laissé le colis de dans l'entrée de mon bloc et il a laissé à l'endroit où on fait des dons donc j'aurais facilement pu me le faire voler. De plus, depuis hier que c'est inscrit out for delivery et à 10h41 hier soir, ça disait que ça irait. À demain. Le numéro de l'intercom pour montrer à mon logement est indiqué en gros sur le colis et il ne prend pas la peine de lire.

Si je pouvais mettre -5 étoiles je le ferais! Mon colis devait être livré mercredi dernier, il était sorti pour la livraison pour retourner à l’entrepôt le soir même! Jeudi matin j’ai contacté le service client qui m’a assuré que le colis sortait le jour même. Jeudi soir, pas de livraison de colis. Vendredi je vois un message disant que mon colis serait livré le samedi. Le service client me confirme que le colis serait vraiment livré samedi. Aujourd’hui, nous sommes dimanche et je n’ai toujours pas mon colis. Ils se foutent de la gueule des clients. Du gros niaisage.
First and last time with GLS
First and last time with GLS! Late by hours for a pickup! Also impossible to get a hold of anyone with average wait time of 1 to 1.5 hours on the phone! When I did finally talk to operator, just promises that the driver would be there. First 15min away, then 3 hours later still nothing. Finally picked up after hours of delayed wait. Worst company ever and never again!

One of my big challenges in life is trying to figure out what shipping company someone uses before I make a purchase. What is absolutely true is that Canada has some of the most abominable untrustworthy incompetent shipping services. GLS is one of them. No one to contact long phone weights closed on the weekend. I have repeatedly received the message only through checking mine you oops something has gone wrong. Oops something has gone wrong for four days in a row. there’s no way to figure out what’s happening. I can’t re-order. I’m just stuck in limbo as some unknown mistake is happening. The package was travelling inside the province. It was scheduled to arrive the next day after ordering and it’s been a week please if you are a business considering your options in terms of shipping don’t go with any of the small Quebec based companies. FedEx might be more expensive, but it is absolutely reliable please I beg you don’t take the Risk

Terrible service, everyday for a week I had messages saying they would deliver, then I would get back in the warehouse, then the next day another email saying today is the day hourra, then back in the warehouse. Complain to the company and the support i hopeless...
