I ordered a part and they lost it
I ordered a part and they had it shipped to Ottawa, when it landed at there warehouse in Ottawa, the part went missing. I emailed them and they said they escalated the matter but now are ignoring my emails and getting thru by phone is unreal.
I have delt with other companies and all went well but GLS is the worst to deal with. I wish the company i purchased from didn't send it with this company...

Worst courier service ever!
Left a notice on my door stating that an delivery attempt was made on the day prior to the notice being left. Multiple attempts to make arrangements via phone and email to pick the parcel up or rtequest a second delivery attempt met with no success at all - spent up to an hour sitting on hold. Would give a minus 5 if that were possible. Worst courier service I have ever encountered!

J'étais absente lors de la livraison (personne m'a avisé qu'ils livraient cette journée) Ils ont laissé un avis de les rejoindre. J'apelle et la personne me transfert mais la ligne se coupe chaque fois et l'attente est vraiment longue. J'ai essayé par courriel aucune réponse. Sur leur site avec le suivi je ne peux meme pas avoir un adresse pour aller récupérer mon colis.
Je commande régulierement en ligne et j'ai jamais eu de difficulté avec les autres compagnies de livraison. Tres mauvais service.
"Attempted" to deliver my package twice…
"Attempted" to deliver my package twice but they don't call, buzz, or indicate a delivery in any way. I was finally left a delivery slip with "instructions" to arrange my own pick up. You think I can get through to them? Nope. What a god awful joke of a company.
If you want it delivered, use a different company.
I'm not sure why they even bother asking for an address to deliver a package to. I sent a birthday present (including cake) to my son. It arrived in his city the next day, and "things didn't go as planned" so it went to the depot for delivery the next day (in other words, the driver didn't deliver it for no apparent reason). The next day it went back to the depot because the "postal code appears to be incorrect." The package then sat in their warehouse for the next 4 days, because it was the long weekend and they don't answer the phone on weekends or holidays (I gave them the day on Friday to deliver it). When I spoke with customer service on Tuesday afternoon they told me one of the digits on the postal code was wrong, which I honestly don't believe, although I also could see it being true.
Regardless of that, they made no effort to deliver the package when it arrived, no effort to confirm the address with a simple google search when they decided the postal code was wrong, no effort to phone the receiver, no effort to call me as the sender to confirm the address (with two full working days to do so), and as far as I can tell my package would still be sitting at their depot when hell froze over for all the effort they have put in to make things right.
Now imagine if this was an important mechanical part, or a contract, or a legal document, or anything other than a cheesy birthday gift and cake. As frustrating as this is to me, I can't even imagine what the ramifications would be like if there were consequences attached.
Having said all that, the person I finally spoke with at customer service seemed like they genuinely wanted to help me (once they stopped trying to defend the company), and hopefully the package will finally be delivered (a week too late), although I doubt the cake will be edible anymore.
In short, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Looking at other reviews it almost feels like beating a dead horse. Believe all of us...pick a different company.

If I could give 0 star, I would.
This courier had me calling from 1 place to another, then the other number they gave me would connect me to a person who is always not available.
Their tracking is useless, you cannot see when it will arrive. Then they will tell you it's with a local partner who will deliver it for them, ask you to call them. The third party will say, "oh it's not with us. It's still with them, they always say that."
And just like that, you're lost like your freakin package. Who knows where it is? They don't know, the third party doesn't know. Am I supposed to know? It's really fcked up.
Order tracking was useless
Order tracking was useless, delivery time advanced all morning every 15 minutes then went backwards. Order was dropped off at main entrance and driver refused to help a 70 year old take a 90 lb package to my door.

A package was shipped with GLS from Calgary to Ontario approximately week and a half ago and the only record GLS has of my package is that it left Calgary on the 17th of September and they don't have it reaching any other checkpoints, no explanations, no reason, just that it's gone.
Package left in unsafe place
A tiny parcel was left wedged underneath the middle of my door frame, not in plain view and upon opening my door I tripped on it, fell and almost broke my neck on my stoop. There was a chair right next to the door that this parcel could have been safely left on, however, the delivery driver failed to see this and left the package in the worst place possible. Very unprofessional and careless!

Gotta love delivery service from GLS. As you can see we have a note on our front door warning of porch pirates. Second photo was how it was delivered. GLS does this all the time. It was an envelope so it could fit between the doors, or they could have tossed it over our back gate. Either would have been acceptable
Buyer and Seller Beware
If I could give ZERO, I would. Do not use this company & cancel orders that are being shipped using them. It’s THEIR policy to leave packages that do not require a signature in the lobby—whether you have a concierge or reception or not. My package got stolen not once, but twice. The customer service rep & driver supervisor were unapologetic & said the driver “did nothing wrong”. I’m sorry, but being ten feet away from the elevator & choosing to leave my parcel in a lobby to be stolen is wrong. The driver supervisor also lied saying ALL couriers have that policy…they certainly do not. It only gets left in a lobby if you have security so you actually get the parcel. But looking at all the reviews, they legit don’t care. Buyer & seller beware.
A Neanderthal company
A Neanderthal company. Never heard of them until whoever shipped my package with them. They left me a notice to arrange delivery. When called their number, it took me 2 days of being put on hold for more than 30 minutes. The third day it took almost 1 hour being put on hold only to hear the worst customer service person with rude attitude and again this person left me waiting another 20 minutes. This is absolutely atrocious for just trying to get my package. Even if I had no choice, I would not use anyone who uses GLS for my delivery ever. Worst delivery company.

First of all they have no idea where the parcel is. No details nothing. They will say someone will call you to let you know if your parcel
Is ready to pick up. Guess what nobody calls you for several days. You call the customer service again and well they have no idea what are you asking them. After waiting for day you will know that your parcel is missing. Ridiculous
