Package lost in transit!
Do not use GLS
I suggest not to use their service. Their system does not show any information about your shipment. I called customer care and they also do not have any idea about the status of the shipment.
My packages were supposed to come in 3 days it's been over a week and I do not have any idea where my packages are.
The tracking number is of no use!
Theft
Theft! Theft! Theft! When you report it they are quick to dismiss your concern and tell you your video of the incident is wrong. Deny Deny. Do not USE Altimax or GLS to ship. They have drivers who work with a second vehicle to steal your valuable packages.
We spoke to the dispatcher at Altimax (Dave) and he said the driver had to take a picture and that it is protocol. He assured me he did even after I explained I have the video from when he stepped out of the van and a picture was never taken. Parcel dropped at 9:30am at 12:30pm a different white van quickly came up the street stopping in front of our house ran to the door picked up the parcel and was gone. High value package and he knew what he was looking for and where to get it. Always check what shipping company ships your parcels. GLS and Altimax will not work with you or take responsibility. Beware.
Guy in the ORANGE vest stole our $400 package.
The GLS staff ignored the “parcel redirection” service and returned the package to the original address, despite my confirmation that a new shipping label was being generated.
I placed an order with a boutique, but I soon noticed that the shipping address was incorrect. To fix this, I called GLS to request a redirection of my parcel. During my first call, I was assured that my parcel wasn’t going to be delivered to the original address and would be returned to the terminal. During my second call, I was told a new shipping label was being created. However, when I called today, I was informed that they couldn't guarantee the redirection would be completed since the shipment was already in progress.
Here’s a timeline of my experience:
- **March 26 early morning**: I contacted customer service to arrange for my parcel to be redirected.
- **March 26 afternoon**: The delivery driver received the request and returned the parcel to the local terminal.
- **March 28 afternoon**: I called once more to confirm that I would receive my parcel to the correct address. Customer service confirmed that my parcel was at the terminal and they were preparing a new shipping label, assuring me I would receive it on Monday.
- **April 3 morning**: I checked the tracking number again and saw the message, "Your shipment was delivered and we received a signature." However, I did not receive the parcel—apparently, the driver delivered it to the original address.
I have two questions:
1. How did the GLS driver manage to obtain a signature from someone who wasn’t listed as the recipient?
2. Why does GLS offer a “parcel redirection” service if the staff disregard it and sends the parcel back to the original address, especially after I confirmed that a new shipping label was being created?
Just a reminder, I have all the calls recorded since I’ve had issues with them in the past.
Problems, lies and contradictions
Every time I get a delivery from them there is a problem. Depending on who you get, you’ll get a different answer and most of them contradict each other on the policies. Once, they lie about attempting two deliveries in the same day, don’t leave any notice on my door and expect me to know. They also claim they try to call me, I have no missed calls nor have I received a call from them. Seriously avoid this company.
Always late...still waiting
This GLS outfit delivered to me a few times and they're always extremely late and tracking is useless. This time, my package has been sitting in their warehouse in Peterborough for more a week. All the updates on tracking say is, "Oops, something went wrong". If this intended to be cute, I'm not impressed. No call back from their office and emails are useless. I guess they're lost in the warehouse where my package is lost. 7 days and counting as of this review. Brutal.

Fraudulent service and terrible customer support
I tried tracking my package with the number they provided, only to find out that it doesn’t exist in the Prowide system, where it was supposedly registered. They even sent me an email with a fake tracking image, claiming that another carrier had my package—which was a complete lie.
GLS is an absolute joke of a courier—unreliable and dishonest. Their customer service is just as awful, offering no clear answers or solutions.
I will be leaving negative reviews on every platform possible to warn others. Avoid this company at all costs.

its home base and someone is here almost always ...plus cameras proved nonattempt was even made to deliver...so upsetting when you are waiting on products for your business
NON -DELIVERY
Tuesday morning received email that parcel was out for delivery..never showed up called at 9pm was told delay due to weather.
WEDNESDAY didn't leave warehouse.
THURSDAY GLS called me to ask what happened Tuesday that driver said he got stuck and couldn't get to my place.
A lie have a camera that shows to the road he never showed up.
Amazon did 3 delivery here that day and my neighbor was in and out of parking lot all day.
When I told him this he said he would look into it and call right back..He didn't call.
At 3pm I called them again and was told it's on the truck it would be delivered that afternoon...Didn't show up.
Friday morning got email that it is out for delivery...12:30pm still not here.
Just called again 2:45pm told its on the truck that I will get it today?????
Now 7:10pm didn't show up and they don't answer phone.

Companies is a joke
First said it was delayed to the weather.
Then said they tried delivering but receiver was closed.
Only problem is this is a restaurant with a glass front and you need to be blind with a white cane to think it was closed.
Then there is the little matter of the security cameras which show no attempt at delivery

Parcel was out for delivery in the area 3 times over 4 days. First it was weather (which there was none that day) then no reason , then mechanical. I'll never order anything that comes through GSL again

Worst industry perpormer
We sell online and the service provided by the couriers is of significant importance to our business. We use the services of multiple courier companies. The worst in terms of pickups, delivery time, and safety of packages is GLS!! Truly disapointing.

They delivered to the incorrect address, promised delivery within the next few days. I did not hear from them called the address where they were supposed to pick up and they didnt pick up. Went to get the tires myself

J’ai fait une commande auprès d’un fournisseur. Il a envoyé le colis parc GLS . Malheureusement, ça fait déjà quelques jours qu’ils ont m’ont colis et c’est impossible de me le faire livrer . J’ai communiqué avec eux par téléphone , par écrit , j’ai même demandé à aller le chercher à leur bureau et rien à faire .
J’ai donné des instructions claires pour déposer le colis dans un endroit sécuritaire mais ils ne veulent rien entendre. Il ne faut pas faire affaire avec eux .

Lost my shipment. Seems they sub out to another courier. Require 48 hours to follow up. Promise to keep me updated. Never do.2 weeks later nothing. I will never do business with a company that use dicom/gls as the are inept and customer service will not keep their promises for status updates.

Very very terrible company! Supposed to receive my package yesterday I missed all my appointments as it was showing you will have 30 minutes next then changed another 30 minutes and continued all the day same message!
And today it says has been delivered but I haven’t received anything!
You have to shut your worst company as you don’t know how to manage your services!

Package said delivered but it was not and this is not my name on the proof of delivered, this is the 2nd time inside the last 7 month plus last summer they left the package at the door witheout using the door bell and the driver have sign my wife name, this is illegal.
