Their tracking is useless. They update when it's picked up, but it seems shipments can spend many days in transit with no scans reported. Even the departure info doesn't give a location

Who is running this business

Who is running this business? What is wrong with you people? I have never seen so many fumbled deliveries in my life. Over a year ago, they "LOST" my eyeglasses. Now this year the company that I ordered from, to my horror uses GLS for their deliveries. I finally received 1 pkg (after 3 weeks) but 2 other pkgs are either "lost" or they refuse to work with us to have them delivered. HORRIBLE service - I would never recommend this company. UPDATE one pkg just delivered… the other is still LOST 😡

Delinquent service

Booked a business to business parcel service between Dartmouth, NS and London, ON on 14/01/2025 with an expected pick up on 15/01/2025.
Everything looked good at my end but received a call to say they needed receiver information? Finally got through the long hold and gave them what they needed even though it was on computer generated label; assured parcel would be picked up on 15/01/2025.
Not collected on 16th - rang again and assured during the 3rd call around 3 PM, 17/01/2025 it was booked for pick up before 5 PM.
The parcel is still sitting at my store and no one answered the phone between 6:50 PM - AST - and 7:05 PM AST to tell my why.
The pickup has been cancelled and the service handed over to a more reliable company.
I have now stripped them from the roster of regional and national services we use.

Worst service I’ve ever seen!!

Worst service I’ve ever seen!!!
Only 1 attend to deliver, left a note saying to call to make delivery arrangements and no one picks up the phone. Been waiting for over an hour and really need this package.

The worst ever

The worst ever. I dont even know what to do. A 200$ package LOST somewhere! Im trying to call them.. its been more than 1h of waiting on the phone.. and nobody is answering my emails... the package was suppose to be here at 10h am this morning. But nobody was at the door... nobody knocked... but in the web site where you can track your package, it's weirdly signed by a dude name Slvain (written like that) at 5h am in a parking lot.... like... what's is happening ?

Absolutely horrible company

Absolutely horrible company. Tracking has not been updated in over a week, and their customer service is 0 help. They tell me it is a weather delay... in my own city. We have had 0 weather events since they've had my package. I would literally give 0 stars if I could. Company is now refusing to refund my money since the tracking still says "in transit." I am now out hundreds of dollars because of this crap shipping company.

Worst delivery company in the world

They delivered my package to a completely different address, different town, which they admitted. Keep promising to get back to me, and don't. I usually give up after sitting on hold for 40 minutes. The vendor will only send me a replacement after they file a claim with GLS and I will have to wait for up to 6-8 weeks. Before I buy anything online from anyone I will first ensure they don't use GLS

If I could put zero Star I would

If I could put zero Star I would. Pallet was shipped by DHL from India in early December. GLS received the pallet in Quebec on December 23rd but they failed to deliver it. Call multiple time to follow up and always had to wait 30+ minutes to speak to someone despite the greeting message that says the waiting time is less then 3 minutes. On January 6th they told me they could not locate my 114kg pallet but that they would call me back during the day to follow-up. It’s now January 8th and I have been waiting for 50+ minutes to speak to an agent. The impact on my business of their disastrous service will be extremely negative.

I would give a zero if I could. They
Have lost my package, 30 minutes from my home. It took less time for the package to get from Japan to the US to Canada then it did for them to lose my package that is apparently "sitting at their warehouse". Not only do they know zero information about their own company and it's processes but the customer service rep today literally told me "we hire temporary drivers over the holidays, we haven't seen your package in a week, so the logic is the temporary driver has your package and we unfortunately don't have any contact information for the temporary drivers" so I confirmed and she said yes, they give peoples packages out to people without even having a name or phone number for them in their system.
3 days ago, a different customer service rep told me they had my physical package and would be delivered by Monday (yesterday) and so when I called (today) Tuesday to just switch to pick-up, I was informed they haven't seen my package since Jan 31? So what is it?

How GLS has continued to be a legal business, not sure but they most definitely are either scamming people or all the employees that work in this company world wide are sharing a singular braincell.

23 days to not deliver a 1 day delivery

I tried to return an item to Amazon via gls and it's been hanging out at their Brampton terminal for 23 days. When I enquired they said it was because of volume. When I said that's a lie they said they need to schedule an appointment with Amazon and it could take MONTHS. No other courier has this problem. Now I want my package returned to me and they days it will take days more just to get it out of their facility and on the road. This isn't the first horrific experience I've had with gls but it's by far the worst. Zero stars. Minus stars in fact.

Have had package for almost a month

Have had package for almost a month. Return to shipping depot numerous times
Now twice in a row say they can't find my address. Every other courier has no issue. Sent emails with instructions, pictures, Google maps is a little off , no response . Tried to call 3x on endles hold foe 2 hrs. No response to emails. So.... I'm thinking they lost parcel. Who knows. Won't get here for occasion it was needed for anyways, sadly I will just have to ask vendor for a refund.

Package very late

Package very late, no help from customer service. Tracking information consistently says that it has left the warehouse, only to say it has returned to the warehouse a few hours later. It has been over a week of this same message every day

Ordered a part from Quebec for a…

Ordered a part from Quebec for a snowblower. It was a metal rod. After waiting a month the package was finally delivered with out the item in it. Two holes in the package. Multiple phone calls trying to get it delivered. It sat in Winnipeg Mb for approx 3 weeks. Poor customer service throughout my experience. Tried ordering a new part but it is no longer available. Between GLS, Rosenau Transport and Pro Wide Parcel service someone messed up the package. I personally wouldn't use any of them to transport anything. Canada Post is bad but these guys make them look stellar! Over a month to get a empty, damaged package delivered to Manitoba.

Do Edmonton GLS use blind donkeys

Does Edmonton GLS use blind donkeys for delivery, My package wondered around the city for nearly a week. Then it was miraculously delivered with a signature, not sure where, sure never made it to me.

Over 2 weeks late and counting

Booked the shipment with GLS through Freightcom.com. Shipment was to take 5 Days, I expected 7-9 days given the Christmas rush. The expected delivery date was Dec 06, it is now Dec 24 with no ETA provided. Last update is Dec 16 with that and the previous 2 updates stating 'Weather Delay'. I am in Vancouver, we haven't had any significant weather here causing a 2-week delay. I have tried calling for Tracing multiple times in this period and the line drops. Finally get though meaning the line didn't drop and was left on hold for 40 minutes only for the line to drop. Given the lame excuses for updates and the inability to get through to GLS shows me GLS has little integrity. They will take your order with little intention of meeting their promises.

Worst experience with GLS

Worst experience with GLS. Ordered items from guessfactory.com and it got shipped via gls on December 11th from montreal it arrived to toronto pickering on 16th and all its shows on gls website is Your shipment has left our terminal.Oops! Things did not go as planned. Please anticipate an additional day for the delivery of your shipment.Your shipment has arrived at our terminal. Just deliver my items. next time i would cancle the order if its get shipped through GLS.
