All of a sudden my e-mails stopped…
All of a sudden my e-mails stopped arriving although outgoing "appears" to be still happening. Tried to contact Greenby but no joy and can't either login to my Greenby account or (with the help of Plusnet) access my Greenby webmail. I didn't ask for this service and I certainly didn;t ask to have this stress in my life. BTW I'm a disabled user - not that I think they give a damn about that.

Migrated over from Plus Net last week. Not warned beforehand and emails suddenly disappeared. Took 3, yes THREE days of frustration and time wasted to be able to access my inbox and set up on my phone. Response only after I complained. Messages received: XX entered chat, XX left chat, YY entered chat, YY left chat etc. Despite my typing in hello? nobody responded. why can't we speak to someone human??!!
A week on still problems receiving mail. Not recognising passwords. Sent box most recent is 2023! Bin is incomplete. So am looking round for another provider. Have been with Plusnet since 2006 and always had good customer care.
An endless circle of frustration
An endless circle of frustration . You enter details you know to be correct only to be repeatedly blocked with nowhere to turn to for assistance other than a useless AI bot . Avoid at all costs.

Plusnet transferred my email a/c to Greenby in November. No issues until a fortnight ago, now emails are very slow to arrive and some don't arrive at all. Cannot log in to Greenby webmail at all and AI bot bloody useless. They are blaming BT for the problem but judging by all these woeful reviews THEY are the problem. Had been with Plusnet for years and wanted to keep email address but I can't put up with this deplorable service.

The brand seems to have been set up to take the migrated Plusnet email service and the company behind it can't provide a reliable service at the scale required for all the migrated Plusnet users.
I suspect they don't get much (or any) funding from BT/Plusnet and are doing it to aquire a customer base.
Sadly it will just act as an incentive for the customers to find a different provider once the "free" period ends.
Several weeks' experience poor
Move from Plusnet was OK, although not warned about re-appearance of several days of old e-mail. however, service seems flaky, randomly refusing access to various mailboxes and refusing to accept it's their problem - attempts to get user to change things that do not need changing. Help is appalling - tickets are only answered on Web site and usually by a poor AI which works to a script. Blacklist doesn't work properly and Greenby unable to improve.
Generally, not a service I'd pay for.
Continuing logon problems
I along with many others had the misfortune to be compulsorily transferred to Greenby by Plusnet. They should collectively hand their heads in shame. Fort the past three months there have been continuing problems with the web server telling me that my log-in credentials are wrong, before eventually accepting them unchanged. This service, for which I will eventually be charged extra, is simply appalling and I will be seeking alternatives as soon as possible.
Useless, Clueless
So, Honest, Greenby have proved unable to provide the service, this has been my honest experience since they told me I had successfully migrated.
Constructive, instead of asking for money for the service they purport to provide they could charge a returnable nominal fee to demonstrate that they can provide it. I would be willing to pay if they proved they are not scam artists.
How can we join together to form a class action to take action? Does anyone have the Knowhow? They have been totally inept for nearly 3 months Nov-Feb
Email Problems Since Migration From PlusNet
Since migrating from PlusNet I have been having problems with Greenby Email service on webmail, Thunderbird and mobile app. I can sometimes send from webmail but can not send from Thunderbird or mobile app. Very poor and slow customer service.
No emails for a month
Our emails were transferred to Greenby by plus net . After hours on the phone to plus net who were very helpful finally got my husbands emails in a useable condition
I gave up with mine after numerous calls and chats very polite Bots I still have no emails since mid..December .. I am at a loss and it seems I will have to loose my email address and find another server. That works !
As an add on my husband is getting swamped with spam emails .. since the transition

No zero or minus star option unfortunately. I have decided to give up my primary email address that I’ve had for decades rather than accept being fobbed off on this shoddy crowd that have no doubt profited from selling the email list to any scammer who wants it. I hold plusnet (whose webmail has been a joke for years) equally accountable & will look for another broadband provider when my contract is up.
Worst service imaginable
After the migration from Plusnet, one out of two emails does not work on webmail, neither work on an email client and no contacts have been migrated. Support relies heavily on AI and the offshore processing of tickets takes 3 days for a response that is useless.
I suspect the appalling service is deliberate. I presume Plusnet paid Greenby to take on these email accounts as a free service for 2 years, but having been paid, Greenby is now doing its best to shed its obligation.
Update: I notice that Greenby enforces a minimum password length of 5 (time to hack < seconds). They really are clueless.
Appalling transfer from Plusnet to Greenby
Transfer to Greenby from Plusnet an absolute mess. All my emails stopped and it took ages to untangle the interface configuration with outlook. I have lost numerous emails and still today get emails bounced from servers unable to deliver. I have contacted the Greenby 'help desk' on multiple occasions but have not had one response to date. Plusnet don't want to know. After many years with Plusnet I have had enough and they will loose my custom. I suspect I am not alone!!

Where do I start, just read all the reviews below. You have been warned, utter disgrace. No phone number, no email address to contact. My Plusnet contract is about to end, Greenby site states that if you contact Plusnet they will keep emails active until the transfer even if you leave. Plusnet say they won’t. Plusnet say I have been migrated but apparently not according to Greenby, none of them seem to have a clue. Shame on both companies.
Shambles
Dumped by Plusnet without warning (despite supposedly everyone getting an email advising of the changeover). Greenby has made a shambles of this and the 'support' is useless; it's a far cry when the humans are more infuriatingly incompetent than the 'ai'!
Terrible provider
I have had multiple issues with Greenby, unable to access email, mailbox allegedly empty and today account details not recognised. To add insult I have had to pay £15 to keepmy email address.
I only transferred to keep my existing email but am seriously considering moving elsewhere as they obviously dont care,
Atrocious
I have been a Plusnet customer for many years. They decided to transfer operation of their email accounts to Greenby so I became a customer by default. When migrating my emails, they lost my complete email history containing very important information. Their support service does not respond. No phone number is obvious and there is no webchat. Plusnet have tried to help but ultimately the service is now run by another company who are absolutely useless.

Like others, forced migration to Greenby, non-existent customer service only the bot. Today waiting 2 hours for a support agent that I had been transferred to?! I've closed the tab now.
Had to call PlusNet for a PERSON (Brendan) who assisted (🙏🏽).... and fortunately I have email BUT... this is the second time in TWO months!
I'm not impressed and I'm stressed because I need to get things done, not waste time trying to fix something beyond my control 😡
As soon as I find an alternative, I will bite the bullet, encounter more stress and leave Greenby because if this is their best level of service, why on earth would I pay £15 p/a for the privilege?!
If you think of the worst possible…
If you think of the worst possible service experience, it's still probably not as bad as Greenby.
It's a crime that they can charge money for an email service so bad and is run by what appear to be a amateurs. That's if you get to speak with any people that is after battling through their service bot.
If PlusNet hadn't sold us out to them I'd have never been a customer at all.
