I have just been ejected from the wacky warehouse at the new Florence in stoke on Trent.

No time limit was mentioned when we paid entry, there were no notices either.

After a short while I went to get more drinks and while I was away a member of staff approached out table and asked us to leave as our time is up.

My wife explained that I had just gone to fetch drinks and that no time limit was implied. The young girl replied "well like you've got like 1 minute your time is up.

Rude to say the least. This Venu Is clearly poorly managed and the staff don't seem to have any training. I will not be back.

I am currently standing in a cold entrance trying to finish my beer out of the rain..

Disgusting customer service

Went to the jingling gate pub on Stamfordham Road Newcastle last night, spent nearly £100 on food & drinks. When the fish & chips came, I had a couple of bites, then I realised one half of the fish was soggy & slimy, only the top half was cooked, obviously the frozen fish hadn't been turned over in the oven. Got offered a free dessert but I told them I couldn't stomach any more food, then gave me my £10.50 back. Been up all night being sick off an uncooked fish, not nice!!!

We've just been to The Basset Hound on the Wirral, and I have to say it was not up to Greeneking standards. To start with it was cold in there, very cold. Then there were no straws for the children's drinks, just short, cocktail straws. Some of us chose the Turkey Sunday Roast, only to be told that somebody had 'forgot to take the pigs in blankets out of the freezer'. No pigs in blankets! Then we were told there was no cranberry sauce either! We asked for Becks Blue alcohol free drinks, there were only two in the fridge, and the alternative no alcohol drinks weren't in the fridge. The children wanted deserts, which we ordered, but were not served until our second reminder that we were still waiting. All in all, not a place we'll be in a hurry to revisit.

Another brilliant dinner at The Cricketers Yateley. Superbly cooked and served quickly. Great food and real ale.

Had a shocking experience in my local Greene King and wrote a trip advisor review. They emailed me without permission and asked for my mobile number. I provided this and they never got in touch after multiple promises.

The Beeches Hungry Horse, Great Barr, Birmingham is my local pub. Staff live local and do a great job. During the pandemic they did an amazing job at keeping everyone safe. Special thanks to Kate behind the bar and Marie our server today, 10 August 2021. Only real issue today was that there was no Fish on the menu two for £8.99. Also can the company as a whole have fish on the Big Plate Special on a Tuesday please. I prefer Fish to meat.

Have had the most awful experience today at the Fox and Pheasant in Stoke Pages. Such as shame as we used to go there a lot when there was a carvey.
The service was awful, table was booked at 12.45pm Order was taken 20 minutes after seated, but was then told that there was a global problem with their card machine so could we use the app which we did. Placed order at 1.10pm
Starter arrived 40 minutes later (it was a bowl of soup!)
Dinner turned up and everything apart from the beef and turkey was clearly out the freezer and boiled to death.
To many servers, no leadership and no customer service!
Shame was a great place before.

The Ely Pub & restaurant, Yateley.
Mediocre service
Mediocre service, medicocre food and mediocre drink. The table was drafty. Five different waitresses served us. Two of the waitresses thought it was friendly to talk over my food and drink as they served it. The vegetables weren't cooked properly and we're rock hard. The chicken pie which was 'award winning' was a goey concoction with some chicken in it and the lasagne looked like it was someones leftovers. The ale was flat. The chairs and menus were filthy. Not a good memorable experience. Avoid it if possible.

We have just had one of the best curries ever at the Bonny Prince, Chellaston, Derby. Fantastic food, great service. Thanks.

Green King Pubs are an absolute scam since they were sold to the Chinese over 2 years ago. £42 for 4 large none alcoholic Gin Tonic then told to suck it up. Now yesterday £6.90 for 4 x Heineken 0-0. Today £13.80. Again told to suck it up the Euro Football is and the pub is run by a centralised POS system and menu provider. So the management have no control. If your going to rob me tell me first. Absolute scum bags.

Just had a fabulous Sunday lunch at The Wheatsheaf Hotel, Basingstoke. Haven’t been there for a while and we were really well looked after by Kirsty throughout.
My wife opted for the roast beef and I had the trio of roast, both of which were cooked to perfection. Real vegetables (many other pubs go for processed veg), which was also cooked beautifully. Lots of food too - no small portions.
While it was relatively busy, we never felt crowded, just safe and comfortable.
Thoroughly recommend to anyone - we’ll definitely be back.

I’ve never experienced such rude bar staff and tasteless cocktails in my life! The Aperol spritz was just orange soda and they charged me for drinks I didn’t have! Avoid this overpriced dump like the plague!

I am at the Plough at Alsager and still waiting for our food after 1 hour 30 mins. Asked the waitress only to be told everyone's food is taking this long. Never coming back awful service and who knows if the food is ever coming

This was a birthday meal. There was nothing wrong with my money !!!
But the food was a total disgrace should shut up shop and retrain all and man the kitchens with trained staff would definitely benefit from a Gordon Ramsay style shake up .
until fit for service . Don’t waste your money here!

Just had meal? At The Blacksmith Arms, Chelford Rd, Macclesfield. Booked in advance and in comments on booking stated that 2 of our party were Vegans. Were there Vegan options available?
No reply was given and I took it there were.
The Vegan options were a burger and chips, they offered pies also, but only had 1 pie left.
There was only 1 Vegan sweet on menu, sold out.
It was a 3 course menu £21.99
The only starter my wife and I liked was not available.
Therefore out of 3 courses we had to pay for, there was only 1, the main course, which in my opinion was poor quality.
I complained to the manager, he shrugged it off, saying it was head office fault failing to deliver enough food.
I will never attend there again and will definitely not recommended it to anyone

Unfortunately I have to give some for of star although I'd prefer not to, I booked a table online and I've never had a problem before today, but as soon as I entered the door it rapidly went down hill, after waiting to be seated for near 10 minutes while the shift leaders stood and laughed and chatted to whomever, then to have to search my booking because they hadn't looked, for the type of sitting I had asked for not to be avalible. So we sat elsewhere, to then order through the app as advised to wait 30 minutes near enough for a salad that didn't come with what was said on the menu and missing parts, when i asked waitress came back and said the chef said he put them on but just gave you these, I then explained there was no ceaser dressing and the response was yeah we don't have that we can only do French. My friend asked if she could have some bbq sauce which the waitress replied no they didn't have any, then changed her mind and all of a sudden they did. The chips we had, have been dropped in a vat twice or left for way to long, they tasted like microwaved chips. The overall experience was appalling, after being sat down we were just forgotten about.

The Golden Lion Romford, went in yesterday for the first time since lockdown finished, been having trouble booking a table so just showed up. Lots of people booking and not showing up. Had a great experience the new joint manager Gemma, along with Colin and staff provided a warm friendly and professional atmosphere. Gemma at front of house was particularly good juggling phone calls, walk ins with tests and registering, seating, bookings, food and drink orders mixing with the customers making sure everything was good. Her energy was amazing, she kept going all day, very impressed, if that was a job interview she would get the job!!😁🍻🥂
