What a fabulous building....but then it went downhill.... ordered drinks and tried to pay cash....if you are willing to wait I can call the manager, I can't do cash but I can take card. Wt..
Larger was off.... had to change the drink.
Table next to us got asked " Do you want your mains and desert together or separate " it did give us all a good laugh.
Toilets were filthy, dont think the cleaner has ever seen the back of a door.
Wouldn't recommend.

Had to send my lager back as it tasted sour. The toilets are disgusting (two sides to door) filthy just glad I didn't order food dread to think

Hi visited The Yacht in bexlyheath a couple of weeks ago for a non planned drink we were the only ones in the car park and the place was quite we were served by a pleasant girl but received the wrong drinks but because we had paid by card there was not “much she could do”
But the drinks were fine we left after one. Today we received a parking find and if we payed it within the allotted time it would only cost us £60 😊 great !i I went back to complain( not parking there) but was told there was nothing she could do and didn’t agree with it but was only the landlady “ we have this all the time “
So why do it Money of course pubs bleat about the loss of trade then-fleece the public at every opportunity so my £5 drinks cost us £65 good job were rich pensioners ha ha won’t be going there again

I visited the Bowman Hucknall Nottingham on the evening of 07/07/2026 and was served by a really lovely, polite and professional young girl called Jess, she is credit to the Bowman. The food was exceptional, tasty and hot, Jess's service was impeccable.

Ewe and lamb Luton road Dunstable staff all great the food was excellent great atmosphere great beer 

went last night for a meal and a drink at the cat and fiddle kirk hallam , the service was fantastic the meal was amazing hot fresh and served with a smile had a super night great pub will defo go back good menu good price good size meal and lovely staff massive thankyou

Overstone Manor, Northampton
Several members of our group had been there before and enjoyed it so much that it was booked for a family meal. The pub was not full.
We ordered the meals and waited for what seemed a very long time. Some had starters, but instead of bringing them out before the mains they were brought out at the same time, meaning the mains were cold. One scampi and chips had no tartare sauce, the other had garden peas instead of mushy peas. The sausage and mash had no gravy until it was pointed out. The burger had several parts missing. The waiter was very flustered and kept coming to the table to tell us that there was “confusion“ in the kitchen about the orders. We accepted this and were patient. We didn’t complain as it was obvious that the waiter was having problems. Our orders were straightforward, so we couldn’t see what the problem was. The manager never came to the table to apologise, and left the waiter to try and cope. The food itself was very average. No compensation was offered for our experience.
In all, the meal was a shambles and memorable for all the wrong reasons! We won’t risk going there again.

Greenking what is so wrong with our little pub in Weymouth old rooms inn . You totally neglect this place now it’s bank hols and they have to shut becouse the toilets are overflowing . They told you about this ages ago . It’s a disgrace and if it wasn’t for us locals your be closing it’s about time you got off your ass and sorted out our local

Under New management, what a difference. A pub and restaurant that you definitely want to revisit. Food is great. Service and atmosphere buzzing.
We visited last year and it is a completely different experience.

An area for young people games for the children and even treats and water bowls for the 4legged family members.
Clean and friendly.

Looking forward to sitting in the garden come summer.

Keep it up and we’ll bring the pups in next time .

Went to the Globe in Leighton Buzzard. 3 adults 2 children. Wanted to order dinner and some drinks. Tried to order on the app so we could sit in the garden. Table numbers weren't available, so we headed to the bar. There 2 young chaps already waiting. When the bar girl eventually came back to bar, she continued to serve the 2 chaps. Then an elderly man joined behind them, even though we were waiting before him. He claimed he'd been waiting but was sitting at his table. We said fine, I then asked the bar girl could we order food for the garden, she said yes but the chief was on a break. I then asked for how long. She said 40 mins. Bit crazy considering it was 5pm at this time. Unfortunately, though, we chose to leave, due to her attitude towards us. It was clearly shown she couldn't give a damn about us. She was off hand and uninterested. This is the second time I've had rude serve at the Globe. Which is such a shame as its in a very lovely location and right on my doorstep. I will not be going again due to the staffs off hand behaviour.

The carvery was very nice and the people serving the food were lovely. However, the bar staff were rude and unhelpful which is a shame.

My niece took us all for a Family treat,
we ended up booking a table for Sunday lunch in Bridgwater’s Quantock pub and carvery,
From the moment we arrived they couldn’t have been more accommodating, firstly we were greeted by the manager and shown to our table, but it was a chair short, so rather than squashing another chair in, the manager showed us to a larger table.
Everything was lovely, from food to service, we were asked on several occasions if everything was ok, and I can honestly say it was,
I’d definitely visit again. Thank you !

We attended the Hart Duston pub on Christmas eve, and whilst the pub was busy there was more than 50people waiting on food and drink with one lady serving both food and drinks. We sat outside and it took one of our party nearly 40 mins to be served. This was ridiculous so we left. The poor staff member was clearly overwhelmed with agitated customers just wanting to enjoy a Christmas drink.
Fast forward to today. We turned up around 12:30 with our dogs wanting to get a bite to eat. We were told the kitchen didn't open until 1:30pm we seated ourselves with a drink and waited placed an order for 3 lunches. A burger, a sandwich and a jacket potatoe. This was paid for at 13:45 with 1 member of staff we waited and waited and after an hour we requested our food or a refund… 20 mins later when the one staff member had time she came to apologies and we were issued a refund. Whilst getting our refund 3 other meals were returned and the customers refunded. With 6 others sat next to us appalled and choosing not to order food.
The staff are breaking and its sad to see such a lovely pub crumbling before our eyes.

We went to the Turf Tavern in Carlisle yesterday the 9th of December for a festive meal for 4 of us. The table was all decorated with a Christmas theme with crackers and wine glasses on the table (unlike another establishment we visited on Saturday for a festive meal) The service was spot on, I am dairy intolerant and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything was as it should be. I would give yesterday 5*.

Went to meadowfarm friday 5th of December for a festive meal and the staff on door and our waitress was absolutely 💯 brilliant credit to pub food was fantastic too

Visit to Overstone Manor, Northampton today. Food delicious as always with a wide choice of meats and vegetables, I’ve never had a bad meal here. Staff warm and friendly and lovely atmosphere. Teagan was excellent as she took my order. Definitely have more visits lined up with friends and family.

I’ve been to New Inn Farm-borough today.
We had an excellent Christmas meal. The quality of food was brilliant. The atmosphere was excellent. Good value for your money

I would not recommend this Greenking public house. The service was slow. 6 in party. 3 received meal other 3 had to wait 20 minutes for theirs. 1 of party only received part of meal. Had to chase up. By then the others had finished. The meal was smothered in gravy and lacked any flavour. Definitely not coming again.

Our family of twelve dined at the Heathley Park Public House during an exceptionally busy service, and we were fortunate enough to be looked after by Angelika — an absolute standout in every sense of the word. From the moment we were seated, it was clear that we were in the care of someone who takes immense pride in what she does.

Despite the bustling atmosphere and the sheer scale of our group, Angelika remained composed, attentive, and remarkably efficient throughout. She anticipated our needs before we even had to ask — refilling drinks, checking on meals, and ensuring every order arrived exactly as requested. What truly set her apart, however, was her genuine warmth, infectious enthusiasm, and tireless energy. Even in the middle of a packed restaurant, she made each of us feel personally looked after.

It’s rare to encounter someone who combines professionalism with such an engaging personality. Angelika turned what could easily have been a chaotic group meal into a smooth, enjoyable, and truly memorable experience. She is a real asset to Heathley Park, and her work ethic and positivity deserve the highest praise.

We left deeply impressed and extremely grateful — thank you, Angelika, for setting such a high standard of hospitality. We hope you enjoyed the birthday cake! Top service that will hopefully be recognised.

We called at the Hare & Hounds on the isle of wight, we were made so welcome, service was excellent, lunchtime light bites were fab, and The staff so friendly, and Georgina Lee was a breath of fresh air, I will definitely call again when I visit the island
