I went into Wetherspoons in Sevenoaks yesterday evening where the rugby was showing on their screens. (Using the rugby as an example of how busy they were) It was absolutely packed with people eating and drinking and no free tables. When the rugby finished people started going. The tables were cleared and wiped immediately and chairs put back to where they belonged. It looked like they had never been as busy as they were. Now this is Wetherspoons, so why can't the Bull at Otford Kent do the same. Been there on a Saturday evening and all the tables were absolutely full of plates and glasses and staff were standing around chatting at the end of the bar and I had to clear a table myself to sit. It was still like It when we left 2 hours later. This has happened on 3 occasions now, and I have given up. It seemed like this pub had got itself together which was wonderful, but the staff are letting it down

Mum, siblings and kids had Christmas Dinner at the Thorn Inn Warrington on Christmas Day.
Meal was beyond sub standard and late.
Although a complaint was raised, the apology came back that Chief Cook had gone sick that day, very little else.

I’d expect a partial refund, or a compensatory meal as the meal cost a substantial amount.

Very disappointed with the response

The good companion in portsmouth was an amazing visit, great food and the staff were amazing. Mandy was awesome and made the visit even more enjoyable

Went for a meal at the Mersey Clipper Prenton. Great food and fantastic service :)

Came into for a few drinks with a friend into the oak tree farm Sunderland, went to the till to order desert and the server Leah’s attitude is not great very abrupt and quiet rude.

Other couple was ordering deserts and she said no more of the eclair and I said ‘do you have the eclair for my order’ to the response of her saying WHAT. Need to learn manners, I say as a customer.

I went to Barlow Croft in Wythenshawe Beth greeted us and took to our table we had booked Beth was very friendly polite and was very helpful when we ask for anything. The carvary was very busy but we where served quickly and the food was delicious staff on carvary where cheerful and polite we will definitely be back thanks

Greeted promptly by Ryan who took us straight to a table.
Drinks arrived promptly after ordering, shortly followed by our meals which were good value for money and tasty.
Ryan also assisted me to navigate my phone to use my voucher.
Very polite and helpful!
Will visit again.

Food and service amazing .. the Sunday lunch was cooked beautifully very busy but this didn’t affect the prompt friendly service

I ordered halloumi salad with none existent quinoa, mixed beans (just 2 on plate) and kale . the 2 strips of red pepper were raw not roasted … my salad contained 75% gem lettuce .. cost £10.95

Today 6/7/24 I visited The Bridge Inn at Shawford for breakfast with my wife and son. Adam and the whole team were pleasant and friendly and very welcoming. The food was great as was the service and we had plenty of time to enjoy our visit.

We arrived for a drink at 5.30pm there was a reserved notice on the table for 6.45 under the name Kelly (there were other tables with the same name). When a couple of people arrived sitting at another table, the guy came over and said that we had to move….it wa La 6.30pm we said that we would finish our drinks and vacate the table, he became aggressive and threatening and demanded we leave immediately. We are locals, and this is one of the reasons we done go to this pub, the ‘regulars’ are aggressive and think that they own the pub.

Took the family for a meal 9 of us including children all vegetarians had the carvery and our options was a pie order on the app at table when the waitress came to the table with some of our order for the children we went to get the adults the server at the counter only recognised part of our order we had to tell him the extra ie the pie's and was told the kitchen will be bring over to table after 20 mins we asked where they were told the kitchen had forgotten about it ❗ and they would be with us in 9 mins 45 mins later I asked again as we had finished our meals without the main part of our dinner and told you can have them as a takeaway 😡 so we did when I mentioned our problem with the management team they said yes we are aware of the problem we hope you enjoy your meals thank you for coming great customer service NOT ❗❗😡😡 if you love meat and a carvery that's great however if you're vegetarian maybe chase your order from the start as for going again it's going to be a big change of attitude before i take my family again 😡😡😡

The food was appalling and I have pics I would like to show ,,,of the RAW CHICKEN,,, we were served ,,, the customer service has actually been worse than the food ,,, if that’s possible that is ,,i ,wish I could put a pic or two on this review ,,,

My husband and I went to 'The Sloop Pub' in Kingskerswell near Torquay.
We had the BOGOF big breakfast deal £4.79!! what exceptional value.
The meals were delicious and the service was great.
We had previously been to the Pub for their lunch time deal which was also great value and very tasty.
Well done Greenking!!

Have been going to the Garden Hall Inn for past 2 years for the pub quiz and purchasing food to my horror this rectangular shape supposed to be a fish with hard batter appeared a replacement appeared looking like fish not much better
I do not expect 5 star food for the price but would
expect to have food that is edible what was served

Called in Woodfield farm balby today for a carvery and drinks, very happy with the atmosphere the quality of food and the reasonable prices, like to say a massive thank you to Mandy and Becky for making this visit such a great experience.

We have just visited The Chequers at Coal Aston, Derbyshire. The staff Abby, Max and Nicole were excellent. Abby never stopped all the time we were there and her customer service was exemplary. Max was fantastic behind the bar and nothing was too much trouble and Nicole brought our food out with a smile. Rare to visit an establishment and see a happy team at work where nothing is too much trouble. Keep up the good work guys!

Can’t give zero stars unfortunately. Went to The Castle in Bristol for a meal Valentines evening. Well the pub is so run down it looks like it only ever been decorated once since it was a castle!!! Staff ignoring you to serve regulars first when went to order meal. Smell of mould and dirty everywhere. My husband used the toilet and said he has never seen such filth. Food arrived and (Chicken sharer platter) the metal tray it was served on was so cold it felt like it was kept in the fridge. all the items were over cooked and dry, the dips were served in chipped ramekins and the “bbq beans” looked like someone forgot to stir in the dollop of bbq sauce. It was all like warm at best which is not surprising when it’s served on a cold metal tray! I have worked in the Hospitality industry for over 30 years on and off and am shocked that Greene King have properties and staff so lacking in basic manners, customer service and health and hygiene practices.
