IN THE BUSINESS FOR OVER 33 YEARS!! Hanson Electrical was formed in 1986 and is now the biggest independent domestic appliance retailer in the Hull area. You can buy from our huge range online or visit our fantastic showrooms on Willerby Road, or Holderness Road in Hull. We display the best appliances from all of the major manufacturers for you to see and touch. We keep a large selection of appliances in stock in our warehouse and also operate a Click and Collect service, where we reserve items for customers. You can order online and check for a delivery date with our postcode checker, which instantly checks availability. We use our own fleet of vehicles to offer a prompt delivery service. Our knowledgeable and helpful sales staff are in the know and are happy to help you to choose the right appliances to suit your home, lifestyle and budget.

Very unacceptable service
We have used Hansons for most of our electrical goods over the past 10 years including a range and have always been happy with the service. Unfortunately today we went in to look at replacing our American fridge freezer which are not cheap! The service we got was awful considering we were going to actually buy today. We left saying we will go to Curry’s and that didn’t even make a difference!!!!!! They were just not interested in a sale. So now they have lost us as good customers forever I got great service from the guy at Currys and it will be delivered on Thursday!!

To hear that, after being a Hanson customer for around 10 years and having previously been happy with our service, you came in ready to purchase a new American fridge freezer and felt that we simply weren’t interested in helping you is extremely disappointing for us to hear.
We pride ourselves on providing friendly, knowledgeable and personal service, particularly when customers are making a significant purchase such as an American fridge freezer. We clearly fell short of those standards on this occasion, and for that we sincerely apologise.
We completely understand that you have chosen to purchase elsewhere, and while we’re sorry to have lost your custom, we do appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your feedback will be shared with the team because this is certainly not the experience we want any of our customers to have — especially a customer who has supported us for so many years.

First class. Delivery date and time confirmed soon after my order complete. Delivery team very good managed to position my large refrigerator through narrow doorways. Price very competitive. Highly recommend.

Excellent from start to finish. Straightforward to order, a phone call from Hanson the day after to confirm delivery time. Delivered when said and the delivery men were friendly, respectful, careful, and helpful. Delivered in pristine condition. Highly recommended.

The fridge freezer was bought online, the website was easy to use and straight forward when ordering. The guys that delivered the order were polite and helpful. I would definitely use hanson electrical again and would definitely recommend them.

Great experience with Hansons!
Great experience with Hansons! We had a new kitchen and utility room fitted in June 2026. Couldn’t be happier with the excellent results and the way everything ran so smoothly. The whole team worked so hard to give us the finish we were hoping for. Highly recommended.
