The software sucks........customer service is almost 2 hour delay everytime you call. Nothing gets fixed ..all I can say is get a good lawyer if you sign up for this system.

The only thing I would maybe say is that the wait time to get a tech on the phone is really long, I needed help with a problem and I waited on hold for 28min before someone answered. Just the wait time is very long and the thing is we have the customer in front of us rolling there eyes and upset when they have to wait for you to get an answer
We feel like we were over promised …
We feel like we were over promised during the sales pitches, and under delivered to during install and since. We do accept some responsibility for not being as available for the trainings and such, and we haven't yet voiced many of our issues due to timing constraints. However, being a part of the service industry, your company should logically be cognizant as well as proactive about the timing involved in the customer service industry.

The system.works great.for the most part. We get an issue from.time to time. Techs are a great help.

I like Harbortouch as a user. I find it easy to operate and find all the information I need in our daily operations. The technical staff are very friendly and helpful, but haven't always been able to solve our issues. With the new upgrade with Lighthouse Reporting, we had many balancing issues, but have managed to get these rectified. As of this time, we still have no idea what caused our unbalanced reports, nor did the technical staff, but it seems to be solved now.

We enjoy the system
We enjoy the system, the tech support needs work tho. We had to call numerous times to get a new cord sent. The people were very courteous, but the problem took very long to get resolved.

The Best System I've Ever Used!
The ease of use of this system is great! Learning the system is simple and the support staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The only thing I'd add to the system is a training mode, but there's an easy workaround as you can void a ticket using the training reason, but that shows up on your reports. I'd rather have a mode where my crew can play with the machine without it showing up. Other than that, I love this POS.
Works Well for Our Two Small Grocery Convenience Stores
Point of sale works well for ringing up sales. The receiving function works well and is adequately integrated with the sales function.
Customer service when we have equipment or programming issues is always polite and professional and usually very helpful. By which I mean if the system isn't working or some function goes down, HTs tech support always gets us running again asap. They are awesome. If we call with a "how do we do this" type question, the response can vary based on the tech support person you get.
POS not yet integrated with chip readers. POS terminals do not work with wireless printers.
Reports don't integrate too easily with Excel. Data is great, but HTs formatting makes the reports very hard to re-sort and finalize. Also it isn't possible to run comparative reports yet ie sales this quarter compared to last quarter.
I wish there were more in depth trainings offered, and/or a resource to learn when HT adds or changes functions. We appreciate HT is adding and improving functions, many of which are very useful and/or options we've asked about. It would be great if there were an alert or something when they do It!

Great POS for a clothing retail shop..Had a few bugs to work out when we first got it over 2 yearso ago. Highly recommended..Great for keeping up with inventory and monthly sales. Also gives you your profit margins.
Easy to use with quick recovery when there are issues
Every time there was an issue, it has been solved remotely with in a quarter hour or less. The system is very easy to use.
