Time saved is more money made

We save ample time training our employees because the system is so user-friendly, which has been extremely beneficial. We are able to focus more on assisting our customers, which has in turn boosted business!

Amazing Company

This P.O.S. Is a P.O.S.

There was hardly a day that didn't go by that the system didn't go down. We had a three day period were we couldn't batch our credit cards. I called Harbor Touch and they had to manually input each of our credit transactions, and while doing so they managed to mess each one up. We had three days worth of customers miss charged. They weren't just miss charged by a few cents, it was in some cases hundreds of dollars. So you can imagine the phone calls we were getting. We were accused of having dishonest staff. When I explained to each and every customer complaint that it was in fact our credit card processing company that had miss keyed the information they were shocked that it could even happen, as were we. It took weeks to rectify this situation. They had to go back and issue a credit to each person that was incorrectly charged , then run the card for the correct amount. People were freaking out because it was showing that our company was charging there card agin after it was already mischarged weeks ago. It was an absolute nightmare. In some cases we never even got paid because people cancelled their cards.
Then after all that it froze again. This time we decided to not even call because we didn't want to take a chance of it happening again. It was just a few tickets so we just took it as a loss.
Needless to say we have removed Harbor Touch from both of our locations. However we are still paying out the contracts. I guess it's worth it just to not have the daily headache of using this P.O.S.!!!

Horrible! Nothing good about this service!

Your $40 a months turns into $400-$500! Their credit card fees are outrageous! I was promised a better rate, when I call them or email them I get ignored! They charge you a fee to accept gift cards, charge you for gift cards then ALSO charge a fee everytime someone uses a gift card! Depending on how many swipes the higher the fee! Running reports takes 10 minutes! On my sign up paper I was supposed to be able to log in from any computer and make changes to my menu or pricing still unavailable! I requested someone to come out set up the system and do some training upon signing up..... Yea no one showed up then either! They promise a lot but it's a complete waste of time and money!

Ugly!

Sorry but I have nothing good to say bout this company. we have being opened for three months and have received 4 touch screen registers and not to mention 5 printers. the salesman is nowhere to be found (Ben) I know the customer service folks don't to talk to me anymore. the last machine we got when out in less then 2 weeks and a manager was suppose to contact me and am still waiting. in all the years that I have worked with businesses this is by far the worst company to work with. if you are a new business please look at other companies before signing up with Harbortouch!

Bad experience overall

Some of the reps aren't very nice and helpful
POS system is slow and gets stuck all the time
System very limited to my needs
Expensive service and charges
I was told the contract is for 3 years- turns out 5!
