Really disappointing ordered Mothers Day flowers a week before delivery date. Paid £4.99 for delivery on the Sunday and they arrived a day late. Would not recommend

I ordered 3 bouquets for Mother’s Day - one for my mum, grandma and mother in law to arrive the day BEFORE Mother’s Day as I was seeing my mum for brunch. The delivery was set for Saturday 14th March but the one for my mum arrived on Sunday 15th, Mothers Day at 4pm! And when I checked the tracking - it said they were posted out on Friday AFTER 5pm which means they were never going to get here on Saturday. 4pm on Mother’s Day is far too late and a florist of all people should ensure they arrive before Mother’s Day. I was contacting Haute Florist by email all day both days and they kept fobbing me off saying it’s 3rd party courier’s fault but it’s not. Haute Florist posted them out late - it’s clearly states that on the tracking. There’s no point in giving my mum flowers at 4pm when half the day is gone. Never order from Haute Florist because they deliver late and then take no responsibility. I’ve read the others reviews and most people are saying the same unfortunately 😞. Also, I got two suspect emails saying ‘click here to reset your password’ and it wasn’t spam, which makes me think someone has been trying to hack into my account and when I asked Haute Florist they said ‘it wasn’t you so don’t worry about it’. ?!

Arrived on Saturday the day before Mother’s Day, a gift from my daughter, so don’t know what was expected. Looked beautiful but the on Sunday, Mother’s Day, half the roses were dying.
Now Monday I have 5 0f the original 10 roses.
The gypsophila is also nearly dead.
It looks very much like half the flowers were already getting past their sell by date when sent out.
Reading some of the many complaints, I’m not expecting this company to do anything to rectify the situation.
I will at sometime, tell my daughter to never send flowers again on Mother’s Day, especially from this company.

Second time I’ve ordered and second time they have arrived late after the delivery date. A birthday and Mother’s Day missed.

I purchased two bouquets of flowers for Mother’s Day. Not withstanding the fact they came a day later than I requested, the quality was absolutely disgraceful. I paid £70 for a large bouquet of the Orion flowers £45 for a smaller bouquet; I was so embarrassed to give either of them as a gift, I had to quickly call into Tesco and purchased their standard flowers which were in fact a far higher quality bunch of flowers at a fraction of the price.
I have purchased many bouquets of flowers in the past and accept that a premium is paid on Mother’s Day and Valentine’s Day, but I was absolutely shocked with the quality and size of the bouquet for £70.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS

I’m extremely disappointed with my experience ordering Mother’s Day flowers from this company.
I paid extra for a larger Florist’s Choice bouquet expecting something similar in size, fullness, and overall presentation to the example shown on their website. What was delivered looked nothing like the picture. The bouquet was sparse, poorly arranged, and didn’t even contain the same types of flowers shown in the advertised image.
This was meant to be a special Mother’s Day gift for my mum, and honestly it was embarrassing seeing what she received compared to what I had ordered and paid for.
When I contacted customer service and sent photos comparing the advertised bouquet and the one delivered, they dismissed the complaint by saying the bouquet met the “correct stem count” and therefore there was no issue. Simply counting stems completely ignores the fact that the arrangement looked nothing like the example image in terms of style, fullness, or quality of presentation.
Variations are understandable with a Florist’s Choice arrangement, but the product delivered should still resemble what is being advertised. In this case, it clearly did not.
Very disappointing experience, especially for an occasion like Mother’s Day, and even more frustrating that the company refused to take any responsibility or offer any resolution.
I would not recommend ordering from them based on this experience.

Flowers are in good condition but the size of the bouquet does not match the image on their website would be very careful because you will be disappointed at the size of the bouquet that they deliver I ordered a large bouquet and it is considerably smaller than the one that shown on their website I couldn’t have ordered a bigger size

I ordered some flowers for Mother’s Day and got them in a medium size. My mum waited for hours as I told her the delivery was due in the evening. The flowers never arrived. They arrived the next day which is bad enough. But I was absolutely shocked and appalled at how small the bunch was. They looked like a £10 selection that I could have got from a local supermarket. It looks like from the reviews that many people had an awful Mother’s Day experience. I have put a complaint in and by the looks of things they are refusing to refund people. I’ve ordered from them many times before and looks like they got greedy and took too many orders without the quantity to produce the usual standards. I will be avoiding at all costs now.

I ordered a bouquet from Haute and when it arrived it was very shabby and sparse compared with the picture. It only had two roses when the picture showed 8 amongst the other flowers in the bouquet. And considering the price is paid (£35) i was very disappointed. I brought up the matter with Haute and they responded very quickly offering me another bouquet of my choice within the price range. I asked if I could have a refund as I had little confidence the new bouquet would be up to standard. They refused a cash refund but maintained the offer of another bouquet. I decided to go with the bouquet and when it arrived it was lovely and exactly like the picture. I was happy with it. The delivery and customer service was fast and good. I don’t think I’d order from them again in fear of the same situation happening again. But the handled my complaint well.

Terrible flowers, terrible service. Paid £40 for a £8 Aldi or Lidl bunch.
Not got anywhere with their customer service. So will be complaining through payment provider and trading standards.
I am pursuing a full refund.
Funny how all reviews on their website are 5*!!

Really disappointed. I paid extra for a large bouquet that was meant to be a soft pink and cream arrangement, but what arrived looked completely different — bright orange, yellow and purple flowers that looked nothing like the one advertised.
Their substitution policy says replacements should be the closest match and of equal or higher value, but this clearly wasn’t. I even found an almost identical bouquet in Tesco for £10, which says a lot considering what I paid.
To make things worse, the box was left upside down and the driver didn’t knock or ring the doorbell.
The flowers were so embarrassing I had to go out and buy a new bouquet to give to my mum.
Really poor experience overall, they've even closed their phone lines and live chat feature.

I paid £62 for a "Large" bouquet I received 2 Lillie stems with 2 of the heads being broken and wilted. And 6 rose stems with 4 being broken and dead.
I paid for Sunday delivery and they arrived a day late the day after mothers day.
Haute are REFUSING to refund me

Awful company! Ordered Mother’s Day flowers and I honestly could’ve got better from my local supermarket! Bouquet delivered was the thinnest bunch of ‘luxury flowers’ I have ever seen and they were all wilting and half dying! Mould dew on the wooden stick in the middle of the ‘bouquet’ (il use the word bouquet loosely)
I’ve spent the last few days backwards and forwards in emails trying to resolve the issue and I’m getting what seems like chat bot responses giving me a step by step guide on how to display them!
I felt embarrassed giving them to my Mother for Mother’s Day!
Awful company and avoid at all costs!!!

Please trust the bad reviews Flowers when arrived were bad quality. Paid for delivery on Mother’s Day was then emailed to say they would not be delivered until two days later. They did arrive but would never use again. When you email the only thing you get is a sorry no offer of refunding the postage.

I ordered flowers for Mother’s Day and they still haven’t been delivered. This also happened last year and I really shouldn’t have given them a second chance. The automated response I received on enquiry was just ridiculous - no explanation or apology. Avoid at all costs.

Really disappointed with the Mother’s Day flowers I ordered. The bouquet that arrived looked nothing like the pictures on the website. It was about half the size and honestly looked like something you’d grab from a petrol station rather than a proper bouquet.
The quality was poor and it definitely didn’t feel worth the money. I bought them as a Mother’s Day gift and even my mam said they looked nothing like the photos and that I should raise a complaint.
Very misleading compared to what’s advertised and a really disappointing experience.

The Flowers for my wife’s birthday were awful. They looked dry and straggly and were thrown away after 5 days. Considering the amount paid I had expected much more. I did complain but they said it was outside there timeline and offered me £10 off my next order. I told them not to bother

After ordering flowers for Mother’s Day with a Saturday delivery, not only did they fail Saturday but also failed to deliver on the Sunday too. Despite promises!
Terrible communication and no real apology or solution. I’ve struggled to get any clarity or communication.
They still have taken the money but have delivered nothing and obviously missed the all important day.
I would be cautious before choosing them.
Update - they have t’s &c’s that allow them to miss any agreed delivery by 7 days. And should they not deliver (as in my case) they only offer a refund on the delivery cost. They are still refusing to refund the flowers having not delivered, which I was shocked by.
Here’s their response and for clarity “new gift at no extra charge” is still the money I paid for the original flowers but they are not charging me more for their mistake (so generous?)…

I ordered a bouquet of flowers for next day delivery, first of all they came four days late. They also came really damaged and basically dead flowers. They were a present so really upsetting for them to receive this. They were also very reluctant to giving me a refund, wanted to give me side credit, in the end only gave me half a refund when I received dead flowers, quite ridiculous really. Will never buy off these again
