Have used Heron now for a number of years since purchasing my first home. The team are always super friendly, helpful, and make navigating the complex world of financial services so much easier (and fee free!!)

Gary Holmes at Heron Financial was excellent. My situation was complicated because I had moved abroad, and although we didn’t find a mortgage solution that worked, Gary was extremely helpful, informative, and honest throughout. What impressed me most was that he still took the time to give clear, practical guidance even when it was obvious there would be no commission in it for Heron. That level of professionalism and integrity is rare, and I’d happily recommend them.

I don't usually leave a review, but felt Aidan, Zara & Vinal deserved a special mention from my recent dealings with them at Heron Financial.

The entire team have been very professional throughout, taking the time to know our financial goals and finding the right products for both myself & my partner. Aidan was very thorough in explaining all the different products and fees, often accommodating for multiple meetings during evening hours to find us the best mortgage deal. Vinal was equally excellent in giving us both straightforward advice on income & life insurance so we didn't pay more than we needed. 

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Heron Financial to my friends and family and will definitely use them again in future! They also don't charge customers fees for their services, which was an amazing added bonus that not all mortgage brokers offer.

The team at Heron are really friendly and helpful. They are very responsive to any and all questions and made applying for my first mortgage as straightforward as possible providing really useful and clear advice. They are also very proactive in making sure you get the best deal - for examples they contacted me iearly before my fixed term came to an end to ensure I got the best possible deal in remortgaging. They also provide additional support with insurance options which is really helpful.

Our situation was a bit non-standard, as we needed to secure a mortgage using a PhD stipend and a regular salary. While many lenders find this tricky, Dalia navigated it with ease and managed to secure us a really great deal, even in the current climate of rising interest rates. If you want a firm that is professional, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile for "different" financial situations, look no further!

While Heron is a big company, Leona and Dalia have pay a lot of attention to me and my partner. They always reply quickly and have answered our questions. Currently the process is ongoing, so if anything happens I'll update the review.

I've yet to exchange on my property so haven't seen process with Heron Financial all the way through as yet, but so far Aidan and Rachel have both been informative, friendly and patient with my whole process of obtaining a mortgage.

Mortgage now completed, it was a smooth process and easy to do with the help of Don, Robyn and Chloe. Nothing was too much trouble and got answers to all our questions quickly and efficiently, thank you
