Would give zero stars if I could
Whilst off work with a condition not covered ( though I believed I was ) , I had an accident and broke my arm , found out not covered for this as I was already unfit from an uncovered condition
Had insurance for 4 years , first time I’ve claimed and refused - guess you only find out how good income protection is when you have to claim and Holloway have certainly protected their £60 a month for 4 years

Holloway Friendly is the best option to keep you far away from being poor. I was ill needed a operation and I was not worried about my finances in this hard time. Highly recommended

A slightly different type of review, one from an IFA who has had the pleasure in dealing with Holloway Friendly for a number of years but this week I have experienced one of the best customer service experiences ever.
I work with a lot of different insurers, but what a lot of people don't see is the background efforts that go in to saving a client's business not just on my side as the IFA but from the insurers side also.
I have been dealing with Paula from the Customer Engagement team recently and what a credit to the company she is, for a few weeks she has been working a client of mine's case that was experiencing financial difficulties and eventually went into a few months of arrears.
When I read back on the emails of reaching out to the customer to help them in their difficulties I was blown away as she didn't give up on the client and truly cared about helping them, and she has now helped my client in the repayments, reduce the monthly costs and keep a level of cover in place that is vital for their family as the main income earner.
Most insurers would have cancelled this client's policy due to the strict procedures when it comes to non-payment, but not Paula.

I have been with this company for over a year and recently could not work for around 6-8 weeks and everyone I dealt with was fantastic. Very honest about what I should do next, no pressure to force me back to work a pleasure and very helpful and also gave me part peace of mind with the payments to cover bills whilst I wasn’t able to work. I have had a Classic Income Protection Plan for many years, which I have used! Since reaching 60, I commuted my plan to savings which I have now cashed in. Whenever I have contacted Holloway Friendly I have always been treated with courtesy, professionalism and when needed good humour!

Absolutely awful company I ended up cancelling my claim and insurance as the cover was so bad and I have had to carry on working in a plaster cast.There was no cover for the first week and £150 after that I would of got £450 for a month! Not even equivalent to minimum wage this insurance is not fit for purpose in any way. I paid nearly £30 a month for years absolute rip off.

This is not the first claim i have made hence why ive stay with this company, everything is so easy, no worries, no small print suppresses, very friendly and understanding staff, the whole process is simple which is just what you want when injured!!

Paula was friendly and helpful, also appreciated the update was quick and easy to do.

Very easy to make a claim and the staff were really helpful and supportive. Nothing was too much trouble and you got a very personal, professional service.

Tracey and the Holloway Friendly team have been great supporting me over the last few years for different health issues, always helpful and also gave me all the information I needed. Helped to arrange counselling with a lady called Jane who was also a great help. Would not be where I am now without their help and support financially and emotionally.

After speaking with Paula today she was extremely helpful nothing was to much Trouble, I found her to be very professional, nothing was to much much trouble and I rate this service 5 star no propblem at all very satisfied.
