Everything was wrong. Wrongly informed. Got sent a product that was not suitable for nz voltage standards. Will never order from here again.

Changed my mind - no problem.
I ordered the wrong product but the customer support person made the problem disappear for me. I changed my order and was even given a discount for placing the new order rather than just getting a refund. We're very happy with purchase. Very good quality. Took quite a while to arrive from America but they kept me posted.
USELESS “SERVICE” and RUBBISH PRODUCT
I so wish I’d never come across this company. Truly hideous experience. As others have said order was shipped from overseas but that’s not obvious on website. It took ages to ship. Then it was delivered to some random house 15 minutes away. Homeloft kept insisting that I should track it down!! The messages went back and forth, same response as if I was speaking to a dumb chatbot. Then I called them and finally someone emailed back and they offered me a refund and then changed their mind to say they confirmed it was successfully delivered. Never answering about where it was actually delivered! I randomly got lucky and the person that received the package called me and I finally got the package. But the relief was short lived as the items were absolutely worthless. Keypad door handles where the cover is Plastic! Was advertised as brushed brass, clearly only meant colour. Who uses plastic door handles?! I asked to return it and now they want a photo or video- how will they tell from that if it’s plastic? I don’t know. Stay away from this company, it’s so very not worth it.

AVOID
The company seems to operate like a drop shipper. It’s not based in New Zealand as I thought when I placed my order but in the USA.
When I contacted them to query my order, they advised that it was “in process”, and after some wrangling then said it wasn’t in stock.
I eventually requested a cancellation so hopefully the refund will actually arrive.

I bought a Chocolate Fountain for Christmas at $143.03 NZ. Origional price was $238.38 NZ. The size was not stated and their support line couldn't tell me anything else about it. Yes I received the product and clearly stated on the box was MINI. It stood at 230mm made up and I found one the same on a NZ site selling for $38.00. I have being trying for over a month to get a refund for falsely advertising a product being MINI. They have agreed to a refund if I return the product to them to the United States tracked at my expense of $97.00 through the Postshop. Would anyone have bought from a site advertising as a New Zealand but returning misleading adverts or a broken product at your expense to the US. My parcel weight was 1.2kg.

BUYERS BEWARE: Scam and Fraudulent
It has been a terrible experience thus far. I ordered a Loftie alarm clock, it took 2 weeks before i received a tracking number (which was only sent after I had followed up with a phone call)
The package i finally received 4 weeks laters was a completely different branded alarm clock. The alarm clock I received retails for 10% of the price i paid for the original alarm clock i purchased.
After writing an email and requesting a full refund, the representative replied "I see that the product is still usable" and has offered me a 25% discount off my next purchase. That is a completely unacceptable response and leads me to believe that their business model is built on fraudulent products and transactions like these.
I have replied again requesting a full refund - i have not heard back yet. I suggest future purchasers - save yourself the hassle of needing to get a refund, by not spending your money here in the first place.
i will update this review after my response from the customer service team to review their behaviour
Update 20.1.26
After a 3rd attempt to sway my refund decision, they eventually agreed to a return. The customer service rep explained “it must be sent in the next 7 days” (remember it took 4 weeks to arrive to me from date of purchase so seems unfair to expect my individual delivery to work 4 x faster than their delivery.
Due to the size of the package shipping cost was $222 NZD. They will only cover $71 max so I will walk away from this having lost money. They have still yet to confirm my order has been received even though the track and trace number shows it has been delivered to the end location for a week.
Will update one more time once refund has been recovered but definitely a word a caution for anyone using this website -the internet is a big place so whatever you’re looking for, find it elsewhere

HomeLoft NZ is not a NZ company. Be very careful as it’s a scam…very responsive to emails when the product doesn't arrive as promised then offers discount for next purchase…what’s the point when they don’t deliver

I also thought I was dealing with a NZ company when I ordered my Cuisine Art slow cooker . Took a while to arrive but they did keep in touch with emails . So many that I didn’t read properly the one that said I would need a step down adapter to convert from 240 volts to 120 volts . Used a travel adapter forUS product and blew my$300 crock pot up Read everything very carefully with this outfit . I accept responsibility but still have. a bad taste in my mouth

I have been fighting to get a full refund for weeks and still hasn't come through.

Warning
Warning: don't use this website. Products are sent from China. Many products don't arrive and they say it is due to "unavailability of the product". They don't tell you until two weeks later. This is a scam.
Great 'niche market' company
