Read reviews prior to making a decision to buy from Homeloft

I would suggest reading all reviews related to HomeLoft before making a decision to order from them. To keep in mind it's not a NZ or Australian based company. They ship from the USA. It took a while but thankfully they have finally refunded my purchase fully after only the pillow cases and not sheets arrived. Initially only offered return of product with 30% return of funds (as per their policy) eventually offered a voucher for 100% but sadly by then I had lost faith in the company. I do appreciate all the correspondence and that they have now fully refunded my order. I initially scored one star but upgraded to two because of the refund.

Highly recommend

Very easy to complete the order and item received from the US in a week or so with helpful tracking. All round a great service and will use again.

Overpriced products, misrepresentation of country of purchase.

I was looking for pressure cooker parts online. These parts were readily available from Australia and Europe (I would never consider ordering from the USA these days). Although Homeloft offered the same parts for almost three times the price of overseas sites (counting postage) I chose Homeloft because it was a NZ site, so I believed that I would receive my parts faster, and that they would be more straightforward to deal with. What a mistake!
I had to chase up information about my order after 10 days of hearing nothing. A week later I was advised that the order had been confirmed in the USA! This was the first I knew that Homeloft NZ did not stock my items but would have to order from overseas. I was not given the option of cancelling at that point. Then it took over a month from that time for my order to arrive.
One of the parts was not suitable for my model ( I had used the guide provided on their website).
A return and refund was only possible if I paid to send the item to the USA and was prepared to then wait for the return to be processed through their systems.
I have refused as I did not order from the USA - I had ordered from NZ and expected to be able to return in this country.
My next step will be contacting a consumer rights organisation. This is a lot of bother for a small item costing less than NZ$80 (it would have been $22 AUD or 12€ from other sites).
My advice is DO NOT BUY from this company. They misrepresent the fact that they are simply an expensive broker. They take no responsibilty for returns and they are totally overpriced. Don’t be fooled into thinking that you are buying in NZ.

Child's porcelain tea set

I'm very pleased with purchase. The quality of the product is excellent. I was initially a bit concerned as I was told there would be a delay in shipping (I hadn't realized that the item was coming from overseas) but it arrived, very well packaged, and within the advised time frame.

BEWARE NZ BUYERS

BEWARE.

I was excited to purchase our Japanese Style bed with the expected delivery time being and of June. This has been pushed out and I was emailed about the new delivery date being start of August and still haven’t received our item. It still says it’s in Germany.

There is no legit number to call and no real address in NZ. It all Seems very much like a scam. I will be telling everyone not to buy from this website. Am still waiting on my refund of $277. Not cool.

Only works in US - not NZ!

Purchased an electric doorbell kit for $160 only to find when delivered that the plugs would only work in the US. There was no indication on the product information that this was the case.
This is inexcusable and this firm should be avoided

Beware of HomeLoft site shopping

If you live in New Zealand I would not use this site.
The quality is very poor the unit I purchased cost $384 but looks like it worth $99
It took nearly a month to come and BEWARE if you have to return your order, you have to send it back to USA and the freight will cost more than the order.
It doesn't say anywhere on the Homeloft site about long delivery time or that you can't return your order in New Zealand.
After many emails Homeloft agreeded to refund $100.

Rolling Stool

I ordered a rolling stool in late June 2025. Inital delivery was early July, with two or three extensions. By early August I cancelled my order and requested a full refund. I have recieved the refund. Thank you.

This company is a scam!

Avoid this company, they are a scam! I ordered a mattress from them for $360. After delaying our shipment by over a month with very little communication from the company, the item arrived in a beat-up used Amazon box. It was not at all what Homeloft advertised on their website, of very poor quality, and completely unusable as a mattress. Think something you might buy on Temu for $20. When I contacted customer service and talked to Sam and Sabrina, they offered "deals" on my next purchase and when I insisted on getting a refund, customer service stopped responding.
UPDATE: Homeloft has responded to my original correspondence but not to this review, however they continue to give me the runaround and want me to send it back to a random warehouse in New Jersey, USA addressed a different company (Handelnine). Even more suspiciously, Homeloft does not have locations in the USA at all. The shipping estimated cost was about $200. They have no interest in resolving the issue and instead offer more "deals". Avoid this company, they are not honest and only seek to scam the customer.
