The property visit was completed within three days of contacting the office and at the agreed time. The surveyor was professional and helpful. The draft report was available soon after and some minor amendments were efficiently handled.

Challenged why the report referred to a porch when I don't have one. Surveyor explained what area was being referred, when asked what the exact problem was they came back with a completely different answer to what was in the report. Had I not questioned the reference to a porch, I would have went to market with a home report with incorrect information in it. Added to that the production of an EPC that is wildly inaccurate, Surveyor has blamed it on the tool used and that it is 'not an uncommon issue' thats not good enough, people rely on this document to make decisions on buying property and it should be as accurate as possible. Additionally if the surveyor is admitting to using a tool for the EPC that can produce some inaccurate results, how can I trust other tools used throughout the survey are working properly such as a moisture meter? All in all not satisfied with the Surveyor and would definitely not use them again. Even at a discounted rate I don't feel as though I've got my moneys worth.

Andy scrimgeour is the best thing since sliced bread! I was so happy with his service. Efficient, quick and fair! HDG are the best firm in Scotland for home reports and Andy is one of the reasons why. He deserves a pay rise!

The service was average but I think they've under valued my property by quite a lot being a unique 1 of a kind house 5 to 6 beds epc rating c 230k according to my bank there about 70k off the real value.

I recently had my property surveyed for a Home Report, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. I had several questions and queries about the report, and each one was handled professionally, clearly, and without any judgement. Everything was explained in a way that made the process much easier for me to understand.
They also amended the report to include updated safety certificates I provided, which will give any future buyer confidence that the utilities are in safe hands. Throughout the whole process they were efficient, professional, respectful, patient, and incredibly helpful.
