Everyone I have interacted with from Home Reserve has been very friendly and helpful. My wife and I have had one of their sectionals for almost 10 years now and the frame is holding up well. I discovered that one of the wooden pieces on the arm rest frame and two of the gliders under it cracked when changing the fabric recently and Home Reserve is replacing them because of the warranty. We just replaced all of the old seat cushions, back pillows and fabric and are very happy with the results. I am expecting our sectional will many more years to come

We purchased a couch in 2023. Have had this unit for 3 years (order #758352). It has not held up. The warranty is for the frame. That’s the only thing besides the cut foam seats that have held up. We purchased the more durable fabric—- hasn’t held up. The foam inserts for the top of the frame. Have all caved in. We spent a premium price and were happy to support an American company. Have had longer lasting couch for 1/3 of the price. I’m not sure but I imagine it’s going to cost me near 1/2 what I initially paid for it to get new fabric, and foam inserts. Let alone the actual back cushion, which have all turned lumpy. Mid at best. Was good for about 6-8 months. Now 3 years in, I’m regretting. Should have got one from ikea.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with Home Reserve, and I strongly regret purchasing from them.
First, their couches arrive in what feels like hundreds of pieces. I expected some assembly, but this was on another level entirely. The structure is largely made from OSB panels, and putting everything together was tedious, time-consuming, and far more complicated than advertised. By the time you finish assembling it, you’re already questioning whether the effort was worth it.
Unfortunately, the answer is no—because the couch is incredibly uncomfortable. Despite the marketing claims about quality and comfort, the seating feels stiff, cheap, and not something you’d actually want to relax on for any length of time.
But the worst part of this entire experience is the return policy. Home Reserve prominently advertises a 30 day return policy (minus 15 percent, plus you're responsible for reshipping cost) , which gives the impression that you can return the product if you’re unhappy. However, what they don’t make clear during the purchase process—especially when you’re building and customizing your couch—is that orders over $4,000 (i.e. most large sectionals) are exempt from that policy and have an absolute NO return policy. This critical detail is buried on the return policy page and is not disclosed on the configuration or checkout pages where customers actually make the buying decision. It feels intentionally hidden and incredibly misleading.
So you end up spending thousands of dollars on a couch that arrives as a pile of OSB parts, takes forever to assemble, turns out to be uncomfortable, and then discover you can’t return it because of a buried policy exception.
Overall, the experience felt deceptive and frustrating from start to finish. Between the poor comfort, excessive assembly, and the hidden return policy limitation, I would strongly recommend avoiding Home Reserve altogether.

I originally received the wrong pieces, but my customer service representative Courtney was very helpful in making sure the correct pieces were quickly replaced. I love my sectional and would highly recommend Home Reserve. Wonderful customer service!

We love our couch. We’ve had it for years and recently added another piece and swapped out the fabric and it feels brand new. I also love that their customer service is so great that they noticed something in my order wasn’t quite right and proactively reached out to fix it before processing and sending the order. Would order again and again

Received our boxes but during shipping a few pieces had been broken. Contacted customer service and worked with Abby to get the pieces replaced. She did a great job and kept in touch through the process.
The assembly is easy and there were no issues. Nobody should be intimidated about having to put ther units together.

The couch is incredibly high quality but the customer service is why I will continue to return and recommend Home Reserve to everyone I know.
When I ordered the wrong size sectional piece (to add to an existing sectional I already own), they paused my order to confirm what I wanted before I caught my mistake.
When I ordered the wrong fabric, they immediately sent the correct fabric at no charge. When there was a delay, they notified me with a gift card and the option to choose a different fabric to proactively apologize for the inconvenience.
They offer a top notch product and it's clear their team stands behind it.
(And yes, I did order the wrong size frame AND fabric and somehow, they made it right for me faster and easier than I could have possibly dreamed)

I had a Laney Sectional couch I previously purchased from Home Reserve 15+ years ago. At that time, my kids were little and now they’re adults.
I thought it was wonderful nearly 20 years later, I could order new fabric and re-upholster my Laney Sectional, and make it look brand new again!

Customer service was so helpful in making sure I ordered everything I needed to recover my couch. They gave me a quote so I could decide what was affordable now. All pieces came in quickly and of high quality. The cover is beautiful and soft. I am 100% satisfied and recommend home reserve. We’ve had our couch for over 11years and counting.

customer service was super helpful and responsive to all of the questions we had about our order. our sectional was easy enough to put together and the instructions were clear. unfortunately, the cushions are way too soft and completely sink in on the sides while constantly sliding out from under you. they've given me the worst back pain of my life after 2 months and the return process is a nightmare, so we just wasted $2k

I love my Home Reserve sectional so much!!! My experience with customer service during my ordering process was excellent. I LOVED putting the pieces together!! The directions were so clear and it was easy to follow. It was so gratifying!!! I love the color, and I want another one!!!

Where do I start? Well, I didn’t realize until after I ordered it that I had to assemble the couch myself, but maybe that one is on me. It took 4.5 weeks to receive it, which is odd considering they’re not even building it, just cutting out some pieces of wood. We finally got it and began assembling the first section and quickly ran into an issue of a piece of hardware missing. We had to set this section aside and start on the next one. While working on the second section, we ran into another issue. A piece of wood that is supposed to connect to another piece like a puzzle had a huge knot in it, keeping them from going together. We managed to sand and scrape it down to get them connected, and we were able to get three of our four sections built, up to the point of adding the fabric covers. I started with the corner section for the fabric covers, and immediately ran into another issue. They had sent two top foam strips with the same angle so they didn’t come together in the corner like they were supposed to. That’s another section we had to set aside unfinished. Finally we got one section fully completed with the fabric covers, and frankly, we hated it. The feel of the cushion was comfortable and we liked the color, but the back of the couch wasn’t high enough and the depth of the seat was awkward, the backend of the seat angled downward too much, and the fabric covers are impossible to put on straight and neat and that makes it look so bad. (Why can’t they just send this to me already assembled?) In addition to these issues we had also dealt with an enormous amount of confusion with the instructions and had to take apart and re-put together sections, and we had to use the sanding block they included (because they know they’re sending you inadequate pieces) on every piece that connected like a puzzle in order to get them to fit together. Also, they advertise that one person can put each section together in 40 minutes (faster with a power drill), but I had help (and a power drill) and it took us 7 hours to get this far. So at that point, our living room was a disaster with unfinished parts of a sectional filling up our floor space and splinters of wood all over the carpet and our clothes, we could only fully complete two of the four sections, and we were extremely frustrated. I sent an email to them detailing all of this. They offered to sent the missing pieces that we needed to complete the other two sections and gave me the option to return the furniture to them with a 15% restocking fee (why? I built it for you, you should pay me a fee) or to donate it for a full refund. Obviously I’m donating it, but I was hoping I wouldn’t have to finish putting this POS together. I had to wait another week to get the replacement parts, and now I’m nine months pregnant and nearly incapable of putting it together so it’s still sitting in pieces in my living room. To top it all off, I realized that with the configuration we chose for our sectional, we planned for one end to be open—no armrest—but the sides of the armless pieces aren’t covered with fabric so it’s just going to be exposed wood on that end. I double checked the website after realizing this and there was no option for a finished armless end. I hate this couch and I hate this company.

Felt like putting a big, 3-D puzzle together, and the prize was a fantastic couch. At the last minute, I was even able to swap a sectional piece so it would fit better, and the cubbies make for excellent linen storage.
