We booked South View for 5 adults celebrating their 70th birthdays. The accommodation exceeded expectations, extremely spacious, clean, well-equipped and in a great location. We stayed 3 nights and were lucky with the weather enabling some of us to do local walks, one circular from the cottage to Cartmel and the other a circular walk to Lords Seat. Those not walking checked out the next-door Yew Tree Barn and also visited Kendal. We had a lovely meal in the Cavendish Arms in Cartmel (booking recommended) and a great Indian takeaway from the Akhi restaurant in Grange. Altogether, an excellent weekend.

Easy check in, car park and lovely staff.

We came up for a charity bike ride and were allowed to leave the bikes in a safe place.

Breakfast was bang on 08:00 allowing us to leave on time to head home.

All information and communication we had was exceptional. Everything was clear and provided in good time. Whenever I asked for further information or clarification, responses were very quick, friendly, and helpful.

We were so pleased with our accommodation, it went beyond our expectations! Would definitely book again! Beautiful location right in the heart of the lower village with a good choice of places to eat and independent shops. Obviously be very aware of the steep nature of the location, including access to the accommodation itself.

Booked this a little honeymoon as we’d never been to Seahouses before. Heard good things about the place and it didn’t disappoint at all. From the location of the cottage, the area, the coastline, the walks and hospitality.
Will definitely visit again.

Second time staying in this lovely cottage, perfect position for station, town centre and beach.
Cottage has comfy beds with lovely bedding and soft white towels.
It’s dog friendly and so it’s a bonus having a walled back yard with seating.
Everything’s provided, including a lovely welcoming treat!
We will be back!

Beautiful cottage stayed in many but this beat them all

Stayed in Daisy Cottage. It was so comfortable and spotlessly clean - a real home from home. Very quiet area deep in the countryside. It was fully equipt as well.
The only thing I would say is that although it isn't airbnb, it feels like it is run the same way but there was no welcome pack and no shops near. Things like washing up liquid would be handy to have. There was a few tea bags and milk sachets but not much else. If there was an airbnb style welcome pack, this place would be perfect. Will definitely recommend and be back if we ever come back to the area.

Perfect location near to the beach & sea. Roomy and deceptively spacious. Very well equipped. Use of a small back courtyard garden and a wonderful shared front area to sit and enjoy. Shops only a 10 minute walk. Great communication & fast responses to queries.

We have just got back from staying at a property with Host & Stay which was Croft Cottage in Brawby. 1st impressions was very good indeed. Very clean and tidy and very well equipped property which had everything you could ask for. It has a nice open garden with a lovely view. Very quiet even though it is a working farm and was only a 10 min drive to Flamingo Land which was the reason we were staying for a couple of nights. Our grandchildren loved it there too which made our stay even better. We take them to Flamingo Land every year and have now found the place we will be staying at in future years to come. Looking forward to booking this cottage again next year. 10/10!!!

Property was very nicely maintained and a good location, in Scarborough, would definitely be back.

The apartment was lovely and clean with a great view of the sea.Nice location to stroll into whitby but recommend getting taxi back only £5 .Overall will definitely be returning.

The noise from the garages below from 5.30am wasn’t ideal…!

Overall visit good

Excellent apartment in a great location. We were fortunate to be able to park right outside. Property was clean throughout and we had all the cooking utensils/ crockery we needed. Bed very comfortable and although aware of upstairs neighbours, it wasn't intrusive. Lovely walks from the apartment plus good restaurants/ shops. Public transport links were reliable to explore further afield without the car.

Great house in a lovely location

Great place if you want a super quiet and out of the way location. Well appointed cottage. In easy reach of beamish and bishop Auckland or a visit to Hadrians wall.

Beautiful property set in the perfect location close to the centre of Harrogate 😊

Gorgeous property very well looked after and my friends and I enjoyed a lovely relaxing couple of days. I'd use this company again if I was looking to stay in Northumberland.
