Beautiful property set in the perfect location close to the centre of Harrogate 😊

Gorgeous property very well looked after and my friends and I enjoyed a lovely relaxing couple of days. I'd use this company again if I was looking to stay in Northumberland.

The Langley offers very tastefully decorated and well furnished rooms. However they are basically hotel rooms with the addition of a microwave (no toaster) and some crockery and eating utensils and food, in our room, needed to be eaten from a coffee table while seated on a sofa. So if you plan to eat more elaborately,and don't want to hire in the chef offered, you may want to look elsewhere. I owned and rented self-catering holiday accommodation for 40 years and my customers wanted more home comforts rhan this. The property is quite high tech but there were problems with this. On arrival we found two other guests unable to gain access using the electronic keypad. Eventually a resident inside admitted us. When we went out later we found another five people waiting on the steps. In our room one of the electric blinds in the skylight didn't work and the same went for both bedside lights ( which oddly had round pin plugs). Finally, if you are elderly or have mobility problems avoid the upper floors as there is no lift and eight flights of stairs to the top floor.

We had to cancel last minute as I have become very unwell and was unable to travel. We knew we wouldn't get our money back, no quibbles there. What really bothered me was though acknowledging our cancellation and the lack of refund 'Charlie' (Host & Stay) continued to send us every email under the sun and a final email asking for a review now our 'holiday' had come to an end?! It never even started! Talk about rub it in. This has made me sure to avoid Host & Stay wherever possible in the future.

Great location of a very characterful cottage in the heart of Whitby, within walking distance to all the major landmarks and amenities. The premises are well equipped with all you need for a relaxed stay, pristine cleanliness, very attentive and responsive hosts, fresh linen and towels. The car parking is thought through.

Wonderful to stay at such an immaculate luxury apartment in the centre of Whitby. Everything was perfect and will be staying here on our next visit from Australia.

Lovely house and large patio area. Very well equipped. Location to lovely beach for dog was a winner and lovely local fish n chips. Only drank at Kaskane but meals looked great and very popular

Need to improve and describe the property accurately
The property was not properly cleaned, the fridge was dirty which is unforgiveable. The bedside tables were also dirty.
The listing describes the property as having premium furnishings, this is most definitely not the case, I would say they were basic and quite cheap.
The listing says that there is a Nespresso machine but there wasn't one in the property.

Loved the accommodation beautiful inside, very clean, shower was excellent, great for 4 adults, not far to the lanes

We had a fabulous stay at our holiday let in Higham, Derbyshire. Our host Dan was very helpful for any information or needs to the let.
Our booking went extremely well by Host & Stay, they kept us updated and was quick to reply to any emails. The gave us peace of mind and above all satisfaction. Many thanks to the team & to our wonderful host Dan. Excellent, thank you all 🙏

Communication whilst in the cottage was very good and quick. An information booklet would have helped about the cottage and its workings rather than digitally online. Cottage was clean and in good condition, a bit of a faff finding the key safe on arrival!

The house was immaculate, stylish and comfortable, we will definitely visit again. Thank you.

Did have an issue with the downstairs shower room though flooding adjacent room notified owners, they will look into it.

This apartment was as described very well maintained and decorated to a high standard. The rooms were large and the apartment had everything needed for a short break Hairdryer iron and ironing board all kitchen facilities including tea coffee and a pint of fresh milk. The shower was easy access. The location was ideal close to the train and bus station Plenty of wine bars/cafes were very welcoming as were the restaurants Not mentioned is Sainsbury’s which is next to the train station Also not mentioned are the three flights of stairs while not impossible are worth a mention for potential guests with mobility problems. Communication was friendly and helpful

I really enjoyed my stay. The staff are wonderful and they all made me feel very welcome.

Brilliantly located apartment immediately opposite The Victoria for on hand eateries and shops. Comfortable place to stay with comfy couch and beds. Great to have the bonus of one parking spot, ideal at the bank holiday weekend. Smooth booking and arrival using a keysafe. Kitchen well equipped and thoughtfully provisioned with welcome basket, tea, coffee, snacks and well stocked cleaning cupboard. Handy washer dryer for wet walks on the beach. Lovely spot for a weekend or week on the coast.

Excellent stay had everything we needed great location and kids loved it too, nice to see them detoxing from the screens and enjoying the outdoors and games in the cottage- highly recommend

Host & Stay were great from beginning to end.
The property in Norton was adequate but for the price could have been better.
We arrived from Spain after a 2 hour delay by which time it was pitch black. The key box is down an alleyway & no light. Very difficult to negotiate & could do with some light.
The house itself is nicely furnished but the couch in the lounge is very low & has seen better days and really could do with replacing.
We twice had difficulty with the entrance door which has a large crack in it. When we locked from the inside, we had great difficulty re-opening and had to wiggle the key about for a good couple of minutes. Really think needs a new lock or even better a new door.
The kitchen is well equipped but apart from the kettle, we did not use anything. Only 3 forks & one spoon in the cutlery drawer, not adequate for full occupancy.
The outside area needs attention, the back yard is full of moss & rubbish including a broken chair and none of the lighting works. Falling leaves cannot be helped but this is just neglect!
This is the first time that we have used your services. We live in Spain & for the past 20 years until retirement successfully ran a holiday rentals company. I do hope these observations are taken in the the vein that they are intended.
We would use your platform again and wish you every success.

Very comfortable and well equipped apartments which are very close to Lindisfarne Island.

Booked a house for combined 50th and 80th birthday in Durham - pictures on site we’re clearly a few years old - as house was in very poor state of repair and not clean - had to clean kitchen and fridge upon arrival, walls damp and plaster blown, window frames rotted away, garden completely overgrown and full of weeds, furniture broken amongst other things.

Put a complaint in - had to constantly chase for a response to be told that they didn’t consider the elements to be worthy of a refund.

Won’t use again if this is what they consider to be an acceptable level of property for the money paid (which wasn’t insignificant).
