Did have an issue with the downstairs shower room though flooding adjacent room notified owners, they will look into it.

This apartment was as described very well maintained and decorated to a high standard. The rooms were large and the apartment had everything needed for a short break Hairdryer iron and ironing board all kitchen facilities including tea coffee and a pint of fresh milk. The shower was easy access. The location was ideal close to the train and bus station Plenty of wine bars/cafes were very welcoming as were the restaurants Not mentioned is Sainsbury’s which is next to the train station Also not mentioned are the three flights of stairs while not impossible are worth a mention for potential guests with mobility problems. Communication was friendly and helpful

Brilliantly located apartment immediately opposite The Victoria for on hand eateries and shops. Comfortable place to stay with comfy couch and beds. Great to have the bonus of one parking spot, ideal at the bank holiday weekend. Smooth booking and arrival using a keysafe. Kitchen well equipped and thoughtfully provisioned with welcome basket, tea, coffee, snacks and well stocked cleaning cupboard. Handy washer dryer for wet walks on the beach. Lovely spot for a weekend or week on the coast.

Excellent stay had everything we needed great location and kids loved it too, nice to see them detoxing from the screens and enjoying the outdoors and games in the cottage- highly recommend

Host & Stay were great from beginning to end.
The property in Norton was adequate but for the price could have been better.
We arrived from Spain after a 2 hour delay by which time it was pitch black. The key box is down an alleyway & no light. Very difficult to negotiate & could do with some light.
The house itself is nicely furnished but the couch in the lounge is very low & has seen better days and really could do with replacing.
We twice had difficulty with the entrance door which has a large crack in it. When we locked from the inside, we had great difficulty re-opening and had to wiggle the key about for a good couple of minutes. Really think needs a new lock or even better a new door.
The kitchen is well equipped but apart from the kettle, we did not use anything. Only 3 forks & one spoon in the cutlery drawer, not adequate for full occupancy.
The outside area needs attention, the back yard is full of moss & rubbish including a broken chair and none of the lighting works. Falling leaves cannot be helped but this is just neglect!
This is the first time that we have used your services. We live in Spain & for the past 20 years until retirement successfully ran a holiday rentals company. I do hope these observations are taken in the the vein that they are intended.
We would use your platform again and wish you every success.

Very comfortable and well equipped apartments which are very close to Lindisfarne Island.

Booked a house for combined 50th and 80th birthday in Durham - pictures on site we’re clearly a few years old - as house was in very poor state of repair and not clean - had to clean kitchen and fridge upon arrival, walls damp and plaster blown, window frames rotted away, garden completely overgrown and full of weeds, furniture broken amongst other things.

Put a complaint in - had to constantly chase for a response to be told that they didn’t consider the elements to be worthy of a refund.

Won’t use again if this is what they consider to be an acceptable level of property for the money paid (which wasn’t insignificant).

Although the hotel is a little tired the room was comfortable with clean with bedding and towels. Breakfast was very good with pleasant helpful staff

The apartment is absolutely brilliant - very comfortable and in an excellent location.
When I had questions the team were very responsive and polite.
Couldn’t ask for any more!

The stables was a lovely clean cottage and very spacious we loved the log burner and the jacuzzi bath and was in a good location the only thing was the road to to the cottage was narrow wide enough for 1 car only and not enough pull in spaces if any cars are coming other way

Lovely clean caravan. The owner has thought of everything including a welcome box. Would definitely recommend. We booked through Booking.com which was easy to. Plenty of communication leading up to the holiday by the owners.

Had a lovely stay in Whitby. Harbour Den was clean and well positioned and suited us perfectly. Charlie from Host and Stay was helpful when needed and very professional.

Had a fantastic few days here. This place outshone our expectations. Everything was thought of, from cling film in the kitchen, to spare lightbulbs in the drawer. We were fortunate to be there for some bad weather, meaning we got to light the lovely wood burner! Cosy evenings, in a cosy cottage was a much needed remedy. Tastefully and modern decorated throughout, we couldn’t fault the place one bit. Lovely on site walks, ensured our dogs were shattered each day, as were we!

Perfectly sized for 2 people, we will definitely be booking a stay again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The bedding was clean and towels were very fluffy. However, the whole place was tired looking and the tiles in the shower were black with mold in places. The breakfast was really good even though the poor woman was on her own,serving and cooking.
The location was good, it was very near places to eat and drink and was also 5 minutes from the beach.

A lovely stay in Amble. House was ideal for our purposes - clean , roomy , spacious and well equipped . Location of house was good as within easy walking distance of all main amenities in the town . Would recommend and we’d happily stay here again .

Lovely quiet little spot. A little difficult to find, not well signed posted.
Difficulty finding the parking permit as this was not left on display but tooked away in a cupboard under a bag. But overall a lovely stay.

Apartment excellent - all amenities included. Close to town centre.
Check in times are a little late on arrival day. Especially when offered the night before at a discount rate but unable to come that day, asked for an early check in for arrival day and was told they couldn't accommodate.
Overall good stay, would return.
