Recent service & past installation.We recently had a service on our imist…
We recently had a service on our imist sprinkler system in our house. Jack, the engineer was professional, gave us some advice on water pressure to the sprinkler pump unit & left us confident that all was working well.
Our water pressure was near 6 bar, which is too high so Jack suggested we put a pressure reducing valve in. We did this & have lowered the pressure as recommended.
The installation team had not noted the water pressure at the time of installation, which they should have done. At the time of our installation, the engineers did not carry a hoover or clear up after themselves, which was company policy we were told. Not ideal if the installation is in your home.
We were not happy with the first installation team, so a better team was sent out to deal with a couple of issues & get the system up & running.
Overall, good experience. But I think if you are retro fitting in someone's house, you need to do the plumbing & electrical prep work too. Our prep wasn't perfect as the electrician hadn't had any dealings with the imist system before. Imist give you some instructions, but they were not clear enough in my opinion.
Hopefully, we will never see the system in operation, but its there if we need it.

I'm pleased to hear that you were pleased with Jack, one of our servicing engineers, during your servicing appointment and that he was able to provide you with some advice and information on the system.
I am, however, sorry to hear about your concerns about the tidiness of the installation process and will pass this on to the wider team for investigation. I have looked into your commissioning documents and can see that the pressure was noted at the time of installation, but has since increased, which triggered the recommendation for a pressure reducing valve. We have also listened to our customers' concerns around the prep work involved with the plumbing and electrical requirements and now offer a package for these components to hopefully make the lives of our future customers easier.
I am pleased that you have had a positive experience overall and that you can have a little more peace of mind with the system installed.

The lads were great that showed up. Really helpful and cleaned up after themselves. However the equipment (pump) is garbage.
