I recently completed my first day of my ILM Level 3 course and the module was focused on managing performance and appraisals with Amy. Amy was engaging, knowledgable and confident. The day was a great mix of learning, active participation and group workshops which was really helpful to have discussions and bring the topic to life with real examples. I'm looking forward to the next modules.

The information provided was extremely helpful.
The presenter was professional, listened and provided ideas to help with problems.

The trainers are incredibly knowledgeable. Amy hosted 3 out of my 4 courses and I cannot fault them. It has been great to take away such valuable guidance. The sessions are engaging and fun!

I’ve attended two courses with Impellus so far, and both have been fantastic. You receive a workbook in advance, which really helps you prepare, and the sessions themselves are very engaging and rewarding. Amy, the trainer, is honestly brilliant and makes the learning experience both enjoyable and insightful.

I attended the Impellus Managing Change and Innovation course on 5 March 2026, run by David Ross. David is an excellent presenter—friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly very experienced.

The course is based around a change you are involved with, or one you would like to introduce in your workplace. It would have been helpful if participants had been asked beforehand to come with a change in mind, as thinking of one on the spot can be difficult. This change forms the backbone of the day’s activities.

The workbook is informative and I expect to refer back to it in the future. The reason I have given three stars is not a reflection on David’s delivery, but rather on the course structure. The afternoon session lacked the level of content found in the morning, and overall the course could potentially have been shorter.

I have attended 4 courses across the past 2 years to gain my ILM level 3. All courses have been valuable to me and have helped me improved my workdays. All of the course leaders were clear, concise and very helpful when I had queries. I enjoyed the breakout rooms and all felt all the information given and tasks provided were relevant and valid to the individual courses.

Attended the Process, questions, objection and value. The course was really informative and Mel is a brilliant tutor!

Last week I attended the Effective Communication Course which was really informative. The tutor (Marc Sewell) was fantastic making it a really interactive day utilising break out rooms for sessions on particular modules. Big thank you to the team and Im looking forward to my next Training day later on in the month.

Really interesting online courses that are set up to get you speaking to the other participants. Great to hear the views and experiences of all the others involved, and generally really insightful.
Some really great people are running the classes, too. I particularly enjoyed delegation and time efficiency.

Had a great experience on Managing change and innovation 1 day course. Trainer was knowledgeable and experienced, providing relevant examples and engaging participants respectfully. Learnt a lot and feel more confident in my own abilities as a result. Thank you!

Thank you for the amazing session about communicating in the work place. There was no fluff, just actionable insights about how to communicate more efficiently.

The leadership course provided a practical and inspiring set of sessions. I loved how they used personal / real-world case studies and interactive discussions to really strengthen the impact and engagement of the course. Overall, it was an experience that sharpened my self-awareness as a leader and introduced me to a wider perspective of opinions from outside of my business.

I enjoyed the course very much; Mark was very engaging and animated in his approach. I am looking forward to applying the techniques in my workplace and grateful for the handbook to reflect upon.

My work places me on the Impellus Certificate of Learning courses to enhance my leadership skills. I have found the courses thoroughly interesting and engaging, and have helped provide me with techniques I can employ in my work. The trainers have been very good - Marc in particular. Would recommend these courses to anyone who wants to further enhance their leadership skills.

I've just completed my 3rd workshop with Impellus, towards my Level 3 ILM Award in Leadership and Management. All 3 workshops have been really interesting and engaging, and I've been able to apply what I've learnt into my day to day working life as a Manager. The course leaders I had were David Ross and Marc Sewell.

5 Star experience, course Handbook is of great quality, sessions are very well planned and very informative.
Exercises are incredibly easy to implement in your organisation, and Amy has a wealth of knowledge in training, which makes you have a lot of "Aha" moments.

I would highly recommend the course to anyone wanting to improve their skills in the organisation.

We were approached by Impellus to make use of Government funding (TAX PAYERS money) by buying credits in advance. Combined this was a lot of money.

I can't see any record that we were sent the T&C's originally, but we were advised that if we didn't book a course each year that we would lose 1 credit each year.

Due other priorities we were unable to book a course within a 12-month period, but due to unclear communication and a lack of transparency around changing terms, our account was closed and credits removed without proper notice.

Despite repeated requests for clarification and resolution, we’ve received no satisfactory response or evidence of the original agreement. As a small business, we expect fair treatment and accountability—sadly, this experience has been disappointing.

We are taking further legal and government funding advice.

Got an email promoting a course that would normally cost £3k however they're doing a regional discount so the price is only £600 - what a bargain.... However when looking into it, an ILM accredited course at level 3 is only £800ish from multiple other providers. This smacks of a dishonest promotion to get customers and/or customer details. Interestingly, Impellus offer the ILM course at the cost of £2,700. I can't find anything on their website to justify the additional £2k they want to charge. Maybe it's to offset the cost of sending these emails.....
