After 15 years of use, I have had to replace due to an unfixable leak
I have used an Insinkerator waste disposer for nearly 15 years. It started leaking at the flexible outlet collar. I was hoping for a miracle and a replacement collar. Sadly there was corrosion of the metal inside the outlet. (This product had a 6 year guarantee).Nothing could save it. I would also point out I used mine with a magnetic batch feed extra. The only thing I replaced twice was the magnetic plug needed to turn on. This was done once near the end of the guarantee period. A brilliant product used lots over the years.
I contacted Insinkerator and was hleped by staff member Billy who gave me details of a like for like product, the Evolution 750 EC. Not only great at his job but a good communicator and friendly voice. I explained my concern if I had to drill the marble worktop for a switch and he directed me to the Convertor kit so I could fit mine like for like. I like using the batch feed with the magnet plug. The Insinkerator site doesn't seem to push this onto people as the disposers are advertised as push button switch.
Billy gave me a discount code for replacing with another Insinkerator product. Thank you for your service and although the new unit only comes with 3 (+1 for reg) years guarantee, I'm hoping this has the longevity of my old one.

Great service, attended very quickly and no problem with replacement for new during the same visit when the engineer ‘Luke’ realised the unit was beyond repair.
Very surprised how good and quick the service for a big established company like Insinkerator. Recommend using these products based on Aftersales service.

An old link emailed out for 20% off filters
I was sent an email after having my water dispenser for 2 years with an offer of 20% off replacement filters…..unfortunately the link would not work and so I decided to call customer service who then told me that the link was old and no longer in use and so sent me an email with the correct site & discount code which did work so thank you! Details like this should be checked in advance when sending out these type of offers!! In all fairness Customer services were very helpful

Very poor advice given
Very poor advice given, I was told my Sinkerator was broken{heater part} just out of warranty and had to purchase a new one, the engineer came out and said it was the tap that was faulty,not the boiler part. Had to pay out for the following:
1 Bolier £257
2 Engineer £150.
And still have a faulty{not working tap} waiting for a phone call back 24 hours later, regards Steve Thompson

Unhappy warranty experience
I bought my original insinkerator hot water boiler in 2023 and just over 1 year later it broke and after contacting the company I was sent a replacement as it has a 2 Yr warranty. Less than 2 years later the replacement has died but they will not replace it because the warranty is linked to the original purchase! Seems rather strange as they are separate machines but they would not budge. They would have got one star had they not given me a 20% discount on a new one. At least that will have a new warranty period. Overall not good!!

Prompt response- kind courteous and very helpful in explaining our options. Very Unsatisfactory Unit
Nothing wrong with the service engineer who replaced the unit - he was polite and efficient.
However, this is the second time the unit has had to be replaced under warrantee. So, I am now on my third unit with no explanation as to why they keep breaking down. For me this is totally unsatisfactory and if the unit breaks down again I will certainly not be replacing it with another InSinkErator .
