Helpful and professional management for our vacation rental

We stayed in the Mews House at 16 Childs Street last week. The property was as advertised and pictured on the website. Reservations and all arrangements smooth and easy with Ivy Lettings. Great location with access to two tube lines just down the street. Great bathrooms. Plenty of space. Comfortable bed. Several pubs and restaurants very close by, also grocery, laundry, pharmacy, ATM, etc.

Why 4 stars with all of the above? Parts of the property need a good professional cleaning/detailing. The baseboards were a mess. The windows unwashed since the Dark Ages, so bad that we did those ourselves. A shattered glass poster frame in the kitchen and broken glass shards leaning on the front garden bin, uncollected. With an hour or two of attention both the front and back patios could be cleaned up and become showplaces to enjoy. They were both a mess. All too bad, totally unnecessary, and so easy to fix.

My daughter and I recently stayed at the flat on Radnor Walk. We loved everything about our stay! It was super clean, beautifully decorated, and had a great location. I can't say enough wonderful things about the Radnor Walk flat. I hope to come back again soon.

Nicola at the Ivy was also wonderful and answered all our our questions in a very timely manner. Thank you very much for making our week-stay superb!

My family and I booked a beautiful flat on Harley Road to stay in for a trip to London through Ivy Lettings. From start to finish the process was smooth, communication from Ivy was great they answered every question we had and then some. They even had the flat ready a little early for us which was an added bonus after traveling all night. The flat we rented was absolutely gorgeous, everything was just as it was stated in the description on the website. Nicola and Guy were both very helpful and we never had a worry about our accommodations for the week. Highly recommended and would definitely book through Ivy Lettings again!

2022 marked the 50th anniversary of my going to and falling in love with London. I've long sense lost track of the number of times I've been on pleasure (40 perhaps?) and my wife many more times than that. Three years ago we discovered Ivy Lettings and have been so pleased with their service. Their properties are a cut above what other services offer and all are well vetted. I have found few services who are so responsive and helpful with any question I have thrown at them. Thank you Ivy for making the accommodation portion of our London trips so pleasurable.

We spent two weeks in the Addison Place apartment as a family. 2 young boys (7 and 9) and my wife. The location of the apartment was brilliant. Everything you needed within 5-10 minute walk. From Westfield shopping centre (which has every shop in the world!), Holland Park, Tescos, Holland Park/Shepard's Bush tube, Portobello Road, Notting Hill - everything was walking distance.
The house itself was very clean and well laid out over 3 floors. The best part was it had 4 bathrooms! 2 en-suite and 2 smaller powder rooms on each level.
Being a mews street house, it had a special character and although compact on every floor, it never felt small as there were 3 levels. It had every appliance in the kitchen including a washer and separate dryer.
Ivy Lettings were a dream. Seamless check in - they even let us have the place early as our flight got in early morning. They arranged a cleaner and fresh linen when we asked for it.
I would highly recommend this house, and also Ivy. A much better alternative to airbnb or any other such platforms.

We stayed at the Queen's Gate property in Kensington for 19 nights in October, 2021. The location was perfect. We loved being so close to the park and the nearest tube station was just a 10 minute walk--very pleasant. The building felt very safe and seemed in good condition. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated. The couch was very comfortable. There was very good lighting in the bedroom. Best of all, the the people at Ivy were responsive and helpful before and throughout our stay.

There were a few problems with the apartment, though, that you should be aware of before booking. I would make sure that the mattress in the bedroom has been replaced before you book. It was truly awful. Guy assured me that the owner would be replacing it soon, but make sure that has happened before you book this apartment.

The apartment technically has 2 bathrooms, but note that the one in the laundry space is teeny tiny, yet still serviceable. However, we were afraid to even use the toilet in the master bedroom. There are warnings posted on the wall above the master toilet advising it is old, subject to backing up and that if it does back up, the tenant (that would be you) is potentially liable for 500 pounds in fees for the repairs. So be careful using this toilet... Also, the lighting the bathroom is minimal, so it is hard to see in there.

The kitchen also needs more lighting--quite dark in the evening. It would be nice to also have a a light over the little dining table. This area is dark as well.
There were not many glasses or cups when we arrived (just 2 each) and no tea kettle. But we contacted Ivy and they kindly provided these items--mailing them to us.

If you are not used to the UK/European washer/dryer combination machines, all I can say is, well, the concept of a "dryer" is misleading. Don't even think about trying to wash AND dry a load of clothes in that tiny machine. Just select the wash cycle only and hang your clothes to dry on the supplied (thank you, Ivy) drying rack.

Still, all these quibbles aside, it's a lovely apartment and the people at Ivy really are great to work with.

We love the location of this Mew House - surprising quiet although close to Earls Court Main Road. Very close to all shops and 2 min walk to the tube, which is super convenient.

The house is as advertised. The lounge area is very cozy and comfortable. But, only setback is there Isnt enough lightings, esp if you are staying during the winter season. Perhaps, much better in the summer given the glass ceiling at the staircase and back kitchen and dining area.

Will definitely consider staying at Ivy properties next time we come back to London.

As a repeat customer of Ivy Lettings, I cannot recommend the agency highly enough. From the ease of communications to the courteous professionalism, Guy and his team remove the guesswork from the short rental experience. During our most recent visit, the pandemic forced some unfortunate changes to our plans which were handled promptly and elegantly.

Apartment was just as promised from description and photos. And service was as good as always (I'm a many times returning customer) with Ivy. Will come back!

I found Ivy lettings by chance and so glad I did . So easy and professional to deal with . Communication was fantastic, it waa great to deal with actual people who physically answered the phone when you called, a rarity in today’s world . They have a fantastic range of properties.
Would definitely recommend them and we will be using them again .

We spent 10 days in London at the Park Road house and enjoyed a wonderful time. The house is spacious and the rooms have high ceilings. Looking out into the street & across to the park one can enjoy beautiful views. The kitchen is a joy to prepare good meals in, the different sitting areas inside the house as well as outside are all ideal for relaxing and spending time. The bedrooms and bathrooms are spacious. Everything is clean and all you need is there. The location is great. We felt very much at home especially since the house is decorated in a very special individual & personal style and is filled with lots of great art work. Thank you Ivy Lettings!

The best company to rent, honest people, the apartment was as good as they offered, very good service cleaning. Receiving you and explaining how to use the apartment. They are simple great team. Very nice properties.
