KimKim is such a fantastic way to book a vacation in a country or city where you've never been. Our Greece guide, Angela, really gave us one of the most memorable vacations we will ever experience. We stayed in all the best spots at every location we visited and she worked with us to customize and tailor the trip to give us exactly what we wanted. It starts with just a 10-15min questionnaire to get started and then your guide will respond with an initial itinerary and you can work with them from there.

AVOID Will waste your time and their budget and time expectations for any trip to Europe are egregious. AVOID They are an unreliable provider, and depending on how busy they are, may or may not deal with you. Sort of like they fire their customers even if you meet the min number of nights/spend if they feel you are worth their time. Hard to rely on them with such an opportunistic approach.

Though reputable, Kim Kim has now gone upscale. They are seeking $800-1000 per day for a trip to Italy, even if you request a midrange hotel. They take a week to get back to you, and then basically say, we don't want your business, claiming that the end of Sept and early Oct is peak season.

Basically Kim Kim now is looking for naive luxury travelers that want to get egregiously over charged. Kim Kim was a good idea once, but it is not a good idea to use them in the developed world, especially it would seem to Italy or Europe. Maybe they are more reasonable in the third world.

Awesome customizable trip planning! Affordable and able to contact the company whenever an issue arose easily. Will definitely use them again, we had an amazing trip to Portugal

I just finished my second tour using KimKim. It was flawless. We went to Portugal and Spain last year with their help and went to Italy this year. They make the trip planning so easy. We tell them which cities we want to visit and they give us an itinerary that’s mostly private tours and have drivers pick us up and take us to the places that we need to go. We won’t travel any other way anymore.

My friend and I traveled to Norway in June 2025, fulfilling a lifelong dream of mine. I had always wanted to visit, but I had no idea where to begin when it came to planning the trip.

This was our first trip with KimKim so we were a bit apprehensive. But within a short time we got responses from 3 different agencies in Turkey. We compared them carefully for content and value and selected Corbeico. Turned out to be a great choice and made for a wonderful trip to Istanbul and Cappadocia

Our trip to South Korea with Kimkim was truly the trip of a lifetime—honestly, it exceeded even our highest expectations. We were already passionate about South Korea, its culture, history, food, and of course BTS, so we came with a long “must-see” list. We shared those dreams with Kimkim, and somehow they turned every one of them into reality—and then added so much more.

From the very beginning in Seoul, Kimkim hit the nail on the head. As BTS fans, visiting places significant to their journey to stardom was incredibly meaningful, and Kimkim thoughtfully wove those experiences into our itinerary. But beyond that, they immersed us in Korean culture in the most unforgettable ways. Wearing traditional hanboks while exploring Gyeongbokgung Palace felt like stepping into history. Walking through Bukchon Hanok Village was magical, and visiting N Seoul Tower gave us breathtaking views of Seoul we will never forget.

And then there was Wookie—our guide in Seoul, Andong, and Busan—who was simply exceptional. Wookie was not just a guide; he felt like a friend we were lucky enough to travel with. He listened when we told him one of our biggest wishes was simple: “Take us where you like to eat.” And wow, did he deliver. Our food experiences were beyond anything we imagined—from Korean fried chicken, Andong’s famous jjimdak, and incredible seaweed soup in Busan, to even stopping at a roadside rest area where we had one of the most memorable lunches and tasted warm hodugwaja donuts (still dreaming about those!). Through food alone, Wookie gave us a deeper connection to Korea.

Our journey to Andong was full of surprises and authentic moments. Wandering through the traditional market, interacting with the kind and welcoming shopkeepers, and experiencing the cultural village with its mask performance during cherry blossom season felt like walking through another era. It was one of those places that leaves a permanent mark on your heart.

Then came Busan, and once again Wookie made us feel less like tourists and more like locals. Riding the Busan Sky Capsule was unforgettable and something we highly recommend. From exploring the BIFF district and fish markets to wandering through one of the world’s largest department stores, every day felt alive with discovery.

Just when we thought the trip couldn’t get any better, we arrived in Jeju Island and met Clover—another extraordinary guide who gave us an entirely different, but equally incredible, side of Korea. Clover was warm, knowledgeable, adventurous, and so much fun to spend time with. She made Jeju feel magical.

With Clover, we visited a BTS-themed café, explored the fascinating Jeju Haenyeo Museum, and climbed Seongsan Ilchulbong where we were lucky enough to witness the legendary women divers in action—absolutely breathtaking. She introduced us to foods we never would have discovered on our own, including eun-galchi (silver hairtail fish), which I still crave, and the black pork BBQ experience… honestly, we nearly cried over how delicious it was.

Another unforgettable day was visiting Jeongbang Falls with Clover. For adventurous travelers, this is a must. Sitting by the water eating fresh-caught abalone and conch was one of those spontaneous travel moments you remember forever. We also marveled at the dramatic beauty of Daepo Jusangjeolli Cliff and its stunning hexagonal rock formations.

And I would be remiss not to mention the hotels Kimkim selected, which elevated the trip even further. The Westin Josun Seoul, Signiel Busan, and Grand Hyatt Jeju all had the most welcoming, gracious staff. Everywhere we stayed, we felt less like guests at a hotel and more like we were being welcomed into someone’s home.

What made this trip so special wasn’t just the destinations—it was how personal and thoughtfully curated every moment felt. Kimkim didn’t just plan a vacation; they created an experience full of heart, culture, adventure, and memories we will treasure forever.

And Wookie and Clover… they made this journey extraordinary. Their warmth, humor, knowledge, and genuine care transformed this from a tour into something deeply personal and unforgettable.

We can say without hesitation: Kimkim gave us the trip of a lifetime. South Korea stole our hearts all over again, and thanks to Kimkim, we are already dreaming of coming back. If there is ever a reason to return for another adventure (and we hope there is!), we would book with Kimkim again in a heartbeat.

I was very impressed with the web design of the Kimkim platform and found it extremely helpful in planning our trip to Peru. I’m so glad we chose Kimkim—they did an excellent job suggesting activities that perfectly matched what we were looking for. We wanted a trip centered around my 13-year-old nephew and his love of animals, and the experience exceeded our expectations.
Our time in the Amazon was especially memorable, thanks to our wonderful local guide, Jahir. We saw an incredible amount of wildlife and thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Tambopata Research Center. All of our hotels were top quality, and we were consistently pleased with the level of service. Most of our guides throughout the trip were highly engaged and genuinely invested in making sure we had a great experience. Our private transfers and drivers were also excellent—despite some language barriers, they were always friendly, accommodating, and helpful.
The only issue we encountered involved an afternoon we believed was scheduled for a visit to a pisco winery (Tambo de Tacama), which had been mentioned by our planning agent, Io. However, our local agent, Lisbeth, informed us that this was only a suggestion and not actually part of the itinerary. As a result, we arrived at our hotel hours before check-in after a long four-hour drive from Lima to Paracas, leaving us with an unexpected and frustrating gap in our day.
What was most disappointing was how this situation was handled. The misunderstanding was attributed entirely to my error, and I felt that Lisbeth placed the responsibility squarely on me. At no point did the agency acknowledge any possibility of miscommunication or take shared responsibility, which made the experience feel dismissive and frustrating—especially since this was something I had been looking forward to.
While I appreciated my interactions with Io during the planning phase, I was less satisfied with the communication from Lisbeth during the trip. Her communication style felt very direct and lacked warmth or a sense of customer care, which added some unnecessary stress to the experience.
Overall, we had a wonderful trip and created lasting memories, but clearer communication and a greater sense of accountability on the ground would have made the experience even better.

We booked a one week tour of Patagonia with KimKim and could not be happier with our trip. They provided an adventure packed week with unique experiences. We were really busy but also had some time to relax and soak up some local culture.

At every step we felt safe, comfortable, and well looked after. Traveling in a new country can sometimes feel overwhelming, but with Kimkim everything was handled so professionally that we could simply relax and enjoy the experience.

This trip was truly perfect, and I’m incredibly grateful to Kimkim Travels for making it such a memorable journey. I would highly recommend them to anyone planning a trip to Peru.

KimKim helped us book a trip to Brazil. They put together a thoughtful itinerary and we felt that we were in expert hands the entire time. We spent time in Iguacu Falls, Rio de Janiero and Petropolis. It was an action packed week but it all worked out really well.

Michelle with KimKim did a wonderful job planning our itinerary. She was able to fine tune our desires and we ended up with the perfect trip. Even with a mid vacation hiccup with car trouble and last minute itinerary changes, she was efficient, helpful and responsive. A great experience all around!

With the help of our kimkim travel agent, Shirley and our driver/tour guide, Young, we had the most incredible trip discovering many parts of Taiwan. Both went above and beyond and added personal touches that made our trip extra special. I would highly recommend kimkim, Shirley and Young.

Our tour was excellent with planning and communication before and during our trip. It was not too busy nor too slow. We were able to make a change or two during the tour with the local guides as well. We experienced excellent hotels, drivers and guides seeing city and country sites. Food tours were great too. I highly recommend kim kim for Vietnam and Cambodia. Our tour was a little over two weeks.

My husband and I took a trip to Italy to celebrate our 50th birthdays. Researching all of the travel sites and options was very overwhelming - until I found KimKim. The website was easy to navigate and asked all the right questions to create a trip that was uniquely us. Jessica, our travel specialist was great- she put together an amazing itinerary and was extremely helpful with changes and tweaks until it was perfect.
