I would actually give them a 4 1/2 if it were available. I had a great time and felt the various activities were fantastic and just what we asked for. For the most part, things ran smoothly, but there were some miscommunications around logistics that were frustrating towards the last part of the trip. Nothing major, but 1/2 star worth.

We just returned from a 2 week trip to Patagonia and Ushuaia. I can not express enough how much we enjoyed the experience. KimKim was there every step of the way. We were able to focus on having a great experience instead of how we were going to get around. We don’t like traveling with groups so this is perfect for us. This is our second time using KK and will definitely use them again. My wife is planning a girls trip to the Cotswolds in May and using KK as well. I’m thinking of our next vacation together in the fall. Big shoutout to Lorena and her team who were in constant contact with us on this journey.

My wife and I recently used KimKim for a two week trip to Thailand! It was the best - they put together a fun, well-balanced trip with memorable activities and great tour guides. 10 out of 10 experience, would recommend KimKim to anyone.

The trip was carefully organized and executed flawlessly at every stage, without delays or unexpected issues.

Having just completed our nine day trip in Colombia I can provide some thoughts.
I have to say that I didn’t know really what to expect and what I would see in Colombia given the limited images and news about this country within Canada. Narcos, Shakira and Juan Valdez commercials can only go so far. Colombia and its cities far exceeded our expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed each of our guides and those who assisted along the way for days like Bike Tour and Gold Museum in Bogota, to the waterfall and organic farm lunch in Medellin.
I will note for me specifically that the Gold Museum was the single most impactful visit I have ever had to a museum. Seeing the gold artifacts through the eyes of indigenous people was very moving. The Salt Cathedral also was absolutely stunning in size and scope.
We didn’t just get Instagram worthy pics, we heard perspectives, and listened to new ideas and saw glorious sites. I thank everyone involved in introducing South America and Colombia to me. You are a tough act to follow. I will recommend Kimkim to family and friends (they have already gushed about the pictures) and I suspect and look forward to engaging with you further for future adventures with my partner, a loyal and repeat customer.

The guide was not from the area we were visiting so it limited his knowledge and we ended up working directly with his contact in Belize. He didn't know a lot of the answers to my questions and gave me incorrect info when asked. Once i followed up locally they were able to get me better information.

The booking was easy and Yuliana got us all the adventures, transportation and hotels without a problem.

This is not a transparent company. The person we were working with would not break down costs for us and only quoted an amount per day. This was after months of working together and communicating.

George planned a great trip in a relatively short time for high season. We enjoyed everything! The guides were knowledgeable and so funny - enjoyed all our activities! The hotels were lovely- clean and the staff were all so friendly! We would do this trip again no complaints!

We had a wonderful trip. The agency helped me with airport pickups and tours. Bangkok was very well organized with our guide Winnai who was always looking after us. In Puquet we had Dada who picked us up at airport and then we had a driver take us to the tours. In Koh Samui the hotel picked us up and took us to the airport and we organized our own tours.

Super well organized trip, interesting excursions, great guides, everything ran smoothly, would definitely recommend!

Extremely disappointed. I asked for a truly customized Basque Country trip with boutique hotels, local character, and insider experiences. What I received was a generic itinerary returned in under an hour—something I could have booked myself on Booking.com. They quoted about $8,000 per person, yet pricing it out independently came to under $6,000 total for both of us. That kind of markup is unacceptable, especially when the itinerary relied heavily on self-guided walks and standard activities anyone can find online. Not worth the cost or the claimed expertise.

We had a wonderful trip to Greece with knowledgeable guides, reliable drivers, and helpful travel agents. I will definitely use Kim Kim again.

Original Travels did such an incredible job with planning our Morocco trip! They were so accommodating with our requests and really planned our itinerary around what we wanted. Our driver, Soufiane, was incredible! All of our guides were also great, would highly recommend!

Everything was organized and planned for our family- the activities were perfect for everyone. KIMKIM was responsive the whole trip!

As someone who usually researches and plans their own trips and sets up all the things (hotels, day trip passes, transportation, sightseeing itinerary), this was a different approach for me but one for which I am very thankful. Brazil is an incredible country, but as a tourist, there are safety issues to be aware of in some places and the language barrier is real (Google translate helps, sure, but there is nothing like an actual local guide who doubles as a translator).

I went "hybrid" with this Kim Kim experience: I researched what we wanted to see, then handed it off to Federico to bring it to fruition. He did all the itinerary plans and reservations, including setting up the day trips we wanted - some of a quality we could not have set up on our own (historic coffee farm tour, for one - which you can do through day trip companies but are better with genuine local connections). We still got to weigh in on what we wanted to do, but not getting in the weeds with reservations and the itinerary was heaven for a busy professional (or others short on time) and was very reasonable for the level of care and service provided.

We had a local guide with us every day (Alberto was amazing in Rio and Joao Luiz in Foz was great!), along with reliable drivers and a couple of other guides who were all wonderful. Kim Kim works with a local tour agency there, and they were always a text away if we had questions. The only snafu we had was a driver who was late picking us up for dinner and a show, but the local tour company owner showed up in person to apologize and bring us some bubbly to make good :) Noting, it was great to not be with a large tour group the whole trip; the only time we were with others was on a boat excursion, which made it fun in that case.

Going back to Alberto, what a fascinating, knowledgeable man! We loved his level of historical and local knowledge - made the trip so educational - and he has the patience of Job when you are out with him. Appreciated his being attentive to our needs and safety but allowing us to meander around shopping and seeing the sites at our own speed. Top notch! Likewise, Joao Luiz is so kind and attentive - he's a speed warrior, so we had to slow him down at times, but thanks to him we saw more of Iguazu Falls than we would have ever seen otherwise, and we loved that he pointed out all the birds, animals, and best views! He made going from Brazil to Argentina and back so easy - even walked us up to the counter at the airport on the way back to Rio - and was very accomodating in moving activities around to maximize the weather (as were Alberto and Benni in Rio!).

That is another win for KimKim, by the way. Rio's weather is fickle, but because the guides have vouchers rather than hard tickets like we would have purchased for specific times/dates, we were able to flex days around the best times to see Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, the Bird Park in Foz, etc. and go to the Botanical Gardens and other activities the days when it was overcast, foggy or drizzly. HUGE perk and one that allowed us to see everything we wanted!

Federico was good to work with me on hotels. He provided suggestions, some of which we took, but also booked the other hotels we requested. Same with working around a couple of other activities we booked directly (like a cooking class and beach day). Again, Kim Kim is good to accomodate and work with you, and I found it very reasonable for the service and level of attention you receive. Our many thanks to Federico and Kim Kim, their local partner tour company in Brazil, and our wonderful drivers (we loved Ricardo!) and outstanding tour guides (Alberto, Joao Luiz, Benni!) for making the trip such a terrific experience! I will definitely use KimKim again!

I was very impressed with the level of detail and attention that KimKim, and the team gave our trip.

It was complicated with a lot of steps and processes, and everything was organized very clearly. There was also the ability to reach out and get information and almost real time and the responses were timely and effective.

Amazing New Zealand experience! Our planner, Noemie, was wonderful throughout in customization, adjusting/updating itineraries to our preferences and needs especially since we traveled with our 2 year old. Great accommodations, transportation, and experiences as well as suggestions for when on our own. Highly recommend and we will use them again for our next trip to NZ.
