My foray into the 500 series was made pretty straightforward thanks to these guys. Being a firm plugin guy, I am now a hardware convert, the differences between the two are stark, especially for a vocal chain. Stef, Li, James, and the rest of the boys at KMR made the entire process a breeze and as such my flag has been firmly planted, I won't use anyone else moving forward.
If you're after pro audio gear and are the slightest bit confused about what you needed or how to use it then look no further than KMR.
Brilliant service and excellent advice equal a customer for life. The only negative being is how much more money I will now undoubtedly spend with them as the two empty slots in my new 500 rack are looking way too bare for my liking.

PreOrdered 2x SSL Big Six received as soon as SSL started shipping them, had issues with couriers which was sorted by them very quickly great service all round.

I have just received my Manley massvive passive.
and I can say one thing besides the Manley is a top unit I have to say that the KMR Audio is the best team with the best support I have ever seen and that is no exaggeration.

I have nothing but good to say about the service I received from Nick at KMR - quick responses to my enquiries, unbiased advice and he always kept me in the loop regarding delivery times. Furthermore, they offer a great range of products at really competitive prices (the best I could find) even on top end stuff like my Gefell mic. Plus, you can send stuff back if it doesn’t suit you. Win/win! As for the mic itself (M930) it is just what I wanted: small (compared to a U87 or the SE2200A which I had been using) and so beautifully clear with good balance and no sibilance in the top end. Perfect for my VO work. I also got the Rycote InVision shock mount which fitted it perfectly as it’s so adjustable. Because the mount doesn’t have ‘elasticated’ supports it still allows a certain amount of mic stand vibration through to the mic body; but that doesn’t really affect my work. It’s a well made mount that would fit any number of mics so a worthwhile investment.

Ordered 2 items, one was in stock and the other was a pre-order item, which I have never done before and also with a company I have not had previous dealings with. Long story short, the in stock item arrived within short order in excellent condition. Anyway, the order was placed in the latter part of May and told it would be June before the pre-order item would be available. This was confirmed by the person I placed the order with as he rang the supplier for a date of availability. I then received an email some time later telling me that it would now be July before any stock would be in, fair enough I thought, it was nice to be informed. Then it suddenly arrived on the 26th of June, fantastic, job done, one happy customer. They were also helpful with another enquiry I made of them. All in all an excellent experience, I highly recommend the company.

Really fast... Good service quality product

KMR did not have my item in stock (after I ordered the item) however they responded quickly to tell me of this and offered different items as well as a refund - great customer service (even though I didn't technically buy anything!). I will happily return in the future to buy other products.
