Great selection of plants and always delivered with care …and so knowledgeable…special mention for the time taken to give advice at the Chelsea Flower Show recently when they were so busy !

Getting notification of order despatch is triggered when an address label is generated, not at time the plant leaves the nursery. This causes confusion. Packaging excellent. The quality and size of the Water Hawthorn received, although ‘alive’ was quite poor; particularly from a nursery of their reputation; I did expect far better(Order #32391)

Incredibly disappointing.

I placed 2 orders months ago, one over a hundred and another that wasn’t too shabby either.

Unlike what was delivered.

Like many others on here, I ordered as it says it’s a litre or 3 litre plant, established etc.

After chasing for over a month and being fobbed off that they’re busy any working as fast as they can, I received a very small box. So small, that I actually went to the post office to see if they had delivered everything.

What I received was a small box of shrivelled, mouldy and sweaty roots tied in plastic bags.

And not all of the orders either.

Pond plants arrived a couple of days later and I thought being put straight into the pond might rescue them, but no, I might as well have burnt my money.

I emailed and sent photos of one of the lupin roots that was green and furry and asked for a replacement.

None was forthcoming and after a few days my email was just basically answered as if I were an idiot and know nothing about gardening.

I’ve been waiting for the rest of my order to arrive, and to be totally honest had forgotten about it as it’s been months and months since I placed and paid for it.

This afternoon I received an email to advise that they are refunding things I’m still waiting for to the tune of just over £16.

I’ve emailed and asked what the hell is going on why that refund and where is the rest of the orders, only to receive a we’re so busy training people blah blah and fobbing you off automatic reply.

I really thought that by spending my money in the local economy rather than big garden centre chains, I’d be doing my bit to support small businesses.

Rule 101 keep customers informed, be honest and communicate.

None of these have been adhered to. Save your money and go elsewhere. I’m off to buy plants that actually honestly meet their description and aren’t dead or decaying.

Very poor quality. Did expect a plant with some solid root system as soon on website. Having followed the appropriate planting guidelines I doubt the plant will survive. If this is ever read by the supplier and they need evidence -- I can send a photo and they can judge for themselves -- poor quality.

Nice plants, well packaged with extra compost. Potted up as soon as received and in the 'nursery' pool waiting to go into bigger baskets.

Good price. Quick delivery, and plants arrived in excellent condition. Couldn't ask for more.

I ordered a water lily kit but only received the plant. You would think it would be easy enough to just send the additional kit parts but customer service is so painfully slow and the chat platform doesn’t allow you to add photos (even though there is a tool for it)
A conversation seems to be based on one reply from them per day.
I have other items already on order from them, I’m dreading what I see when they turn up.

I've purchased from Lincolnshire Pond Plants previously, so knew from experience that they were reliable. This time I purchased several oxygenating pond plants, they arrived within a few days, well packaged in good condition.
They're now in the pond, hopefully flourishing.
Would recommend and would definitely buy from Lincolnshire again.

Maybe if this company actually traded with some degree of customer interest and not put all their efforts into the Chelsea Flower Show; I wouldn’t have to be here but having placed an order back on 5th February 2026 and almost 4 month later still not received anything except empty platitudes and tumble weed I have to say Avoid At All Cost. To date I sent an email cancelling the entire order and requested a full refund citing- UK Under the Consumer Rights Act and Consumer Contracts Regulations- of which they have only issued a partial refund. It seems like they are playing games…

EDIT:- in response - Still waiting for my full refund- I would contact you but you make it neigh on impossible for customers to do so especially via that pathetic chat bot on your web page, no customer service email or telephone contact and if perchance you do reply it is with a generic reply “ thanking people for their continued 4 months of patience “ but “our heartfelt apologies but the dog my homework”

A problem with my order was well handled without fuss and the replacement plant arrived, healthy and ready to transplant into my new pond. I will be buying more plants soon!

The plants arrived on time but are a disgrace. Mostly brown leaves and mush. Very poor quality

I ordered plants at the beginning of March. The first part of the order delivered in April. The 1 litre plant came in a plastic bag and was actually 3 very small individual plants so not as described. One of the other plants was dead. I received the final part of the order at end of May and this was not the rooted plants described but was bare rooted in a plastic bag that was mouldy on arrival. I did get a refund for part of the order. However, I will not use this company again.

I ordered my Plants online, which was really easy, everything went really smoothly. I ordered them on Thursday. They were dispatched on Friday and arrived on Tuesday.(Monday was a bank holiday.) so no complaints there excellent service.

Ordered 2 floating plants for pond. 1 was covered in white furry mould on roots the second had 10 loose leaves that had broken off. Will not not be ordering from them again. The one star is for delivery only.

Very speedy and efficient delivery. Excellent native plants for my pond.
