The initial question session was very good but once done then came the hard sell to take other things which totalled to £400 pounds and I found it difficult to get through to the agent that I wasn’t interested.but for this my

I had an appointment on the 21st May to…
I had an appointment on the 21st May to complete my will. While completing my will, power of attorney was talked about. This I agreed to, paid my £399. The 21st June I received a letter from office of the public guardian asking for £184 2x £92 for the two power of attorney I was totally shocked as I was not made aware of this during my appointment. Just to make you aware it's not £399 for the power of attorney, there are hidden costs which they discussed.

Will ok but avoid LPA as expensive
Telephone will writing was fine but errors were made and had to be adjusted twice before final draft - asked regarding LPA, decided to go ahead but hidden additional charges were not explained - when draft was e-mailed there were errors and due to additional charges i cancelled and luckily received a refund - if asking for a LPA ensure all additional charges are explained as it is very expensive.

Pressure selling other products. to…
Very helpful apart from trying to promote other products like LPA which was a very heavy sell. I pointed out that I was going to do an LPA but would not be pressurised without my partner being present. The price came down by £150 to try to persuade me. If he had said ring us anytime and we can arrange that for you I would have done but I have arranged it with another company now. I do not like being pressured on the phone. Perhaps that could be relayed to your sales team.

A quick and effective service.
A quick service organised initially over the phone. Although we were warned each transaction could take up to numerous days, in reality emails and post arrived much sooner than expected. Draft changes were made effectively.
Our only criticism was to have the Will printed on thicker quality paper.
Overall a quick and inexpensive service for people wanting a straightforward Will.

Quick and easy to sort new Will
I had a telephone call to discuss replacing a mirror Will I already had in place due to a breakup. All information was collected and a draft was quickly sent over for me to check and I am now awaiting a paper copy. Easy from start to finish. Professionally carried out and good communication throughout. Very satisfied with the service provided.
