Writing and updating the will was easy to do. The team were quick to respond and understood the urgency in updating the information on the will. They made updating the will will process very simple. It helped having their contact details attached to the correspondence.

Attempted to appear as an executor on the will.
the company charged for the will document to then be approved .
On careful viewing it was noted that the company was named as an executor of my will .A fraudulent attempt to gain a benefit from myself and family .
I believe that after speaking with the FCA and related authorities, I was advised to report the matter to my bank and ask for a refund of monies paid to the company .

Heavy sales call to use other services.
Whilst the will was done promptly I found the process was more a heavy sell to get me to do storage with them and a lasting power of attorney. The call about my will was very rushed.

All of our will writers have a legal and ethical duty of care to highlight any potential vulnerabilities or risks in a client’s estate planning. That means we are required to explain additional protections, even if a client has come in only wanting the basics.
The intention is never to pressure, but to ensure that clients are making fully informed decisions, rather than discovering later that something important was never mentioned.
Ultimately, all decisions always remain with you and you were absolutely within your rights to stick to the basic will.
