Genuine Customer Service
I recently called Motorhome and Caravan Services to arrange a mobile habitation check. Unfortunately, they didn’t cover my area, but that didn’t stop Jonathon from spending over 40 minutes on the phone with me! As a first-time buyer, I had loads of questions, and he took the time to give me honest, detailed advice and point me in the right direction. It’s rare to find someone so genuine and helpful these days — I really appreciated his patience and knowledge. Highly recommend this company for their outstanding customer service!

A maxi K we strive to not only do the best job but also offer the best customer service for all of our clients… Whether they are bringing a van to us or just calling us for help. We view every Van has an equal and recognise that everybody’s travelling lifestyle has to be facilitated on the odd occasion with some expert advice and encouragement. Your post has given us the encouragement to carry on with that ethos and it is so rewarding to be recognised for simply taking the small steps to help people out even if there is no monetary exchange involved. From Carmarthenshire to Essex — and worth every mile!
Back to see Johnathan at MACSUK for the second time, and this time to have a Thetford compressor fridge/freezer fitted, replacing our trusty Dometic 3-way. The old fridge was still working well, but after Johnathan’s power and battery upgrades earlier this year, switching made perfect sense and especially for those warmer trips to southern Europe.
Now back home in Wales, the Thetford has been running flawlessly for a full week, powered entirely by solar and batteries. Overnight, the charge only drops to 97%, then returns to 100% during the day — impressive performance under cloudy Welsh skies!
The solar setup, lithium batteries, and Victron MultiPlus were already a game changer, and the new Thetford 12V compressor fridge/freezer is truly the cherry on top.
Huge thanks to Johnathan for another superb job, and to Andrea for the beautifully neat work on the habitation door blind. Couldn’t be happier!
And as for the review on Bingo… nah, maybe next time!

Hi Stuart and Hannah. It’s so good to hear that the upgrades are working as flawlessly as we had hoped. Your lovely Van is truly a fantastic example of what can be done to take a basic Van to the very next level with all of the bells and whistles for off grid living. I know that. Customers U2 are a great example of pushing the van to its limits and enjoying life to the full in Europe and in the UK. You for your kind words. It is always a privilege to work on your van and see it grow in stature.… Count me out too! No doubt see you again in the future but quite what we would do next time is still a mystery as most things have been done already LOL. Take care and safe travels.

Alarm upgrade for our Dethleffs
We were recommended to macsuk and following a very helpful and informative telephone consultation with Jonathan our Dethleffs now has an all singing and dancing alarm system, the works have been completed to a very high standard with a brilliant level of attention to detail. They have a great range of skills and services for motorhomes and we would highly recommend them

Head Unit Upgrade
I had my stereo head unit upgraded. I purchased all the components and the head unit. Jonathan and Steve were excellent. Steve done the fitting. Although it was a more difficult than anticipated, Steve managed to fit the head unit after much head scratching. I would definitely recommend them for any work you may require for your motorhome.

It certainly did pose a few challenges to get the stereo selected into the dashboard but having said that Steve did an amazing job and I know how happy you were with the final product. That is our MACSUK to ensure that everybody as far as possible is satisfied with not only the workmanship but also the products that are fitted. I’ll see you again in the future no doubt for more upgrades, et cetera until then safe travels.
Upgrades to K Yacht 95
Had brighter indicator side markers, high level repeaters, lazer reversing lights x2 and the 4 solar panels fitted by Jonathan very professional service, able to park overnight in his Search for sites park up.

Despite being extremely busy Jonathan fitted me in at 5pm one evening. My outsmart the thief tracker had stopped working. Despite the job proving to be very difficult due to the inaccessibility of the control box Jonathan persevered and all is now working great. So glad I found him and now my moho is out of warranty i can now use him for hab checks and all other problems and not have to rely on main dealers Many thanks

removing component parts of the Outsmart The Thief alarm system is. Thanks for your patience and bearing with me as I reinstalled the elements that needed addressing and it was really satisfying to get your remote working at the end of the day. I look forward to receiving you back into the workshop for less complicated matters going forward. Hopefully the time spent on sorting out the system has been rewarded with ease of use and a fully functioning system. Good to meet you and as I say, see you again soon. Take care.

5 stars across the board for this company. I travelled from the Isle of Man to have some work done on my Mobilvetta 80 on the recommendation of subscribers to the Mobilvetta owners club. Jonathan carried out the work, and some extras well within the time scale and at a really reasonable price. Really easy to deal with and I took away some great tips and advice for the van and planning European trips. Jonathan is an expert in his field and I would recommend MACSUK to anyone requiring advice or work on their van. Well worth the trip down and I will definitely use this company again.

Excellence & Care in equal measures.
Jonathan and his team have an exceptional wealth of expertise. For the first time, I felt completely confident handing over my beloved motorhome, knowing it would be treated with care and that the work carried out would be of the highest professional standard.
What really stood out was the time and attention Jonathan invested in understanding exactly how we use our vehicle before starting any upgrade. This meant the results didn’t just meet our expectations—they exceeded them. Importantly, in our experience, he has never tried to oversell anything we didn’t need or want.
We wouldn’t take our motorhome anywhere else now. For us, it’s MACS UK every single time.

Barry. I want to thank you too for your patience and discretion. I don’t mind sharing - an electrical board from factory caused an interesting spectacle as the van took on a life of its own for a few moments - but we tracked it down and sorted it out as you know. I really appreciated your understanding and trust that now install is over, your lovely Moho is delivering as expected. I guess as you said - some days are a challenge - in overcoming them we learn and grow such that they pose no challenge in the event of a re occurrence. Pleasure to meet you and see you again soon for those upgrades!
First class service
Jonathan could not have done more to give us our beautiful motorhome. He went above and beyond for both his customer selling and for us, buying. His knowledge of all electrics, systems, layouts and payloads is second to none. We will definitely use him for any future upgrades and additions. Thank you Jonathan.

Cannot recommend highly enough
Cannot recommend highly enough. Fitted us in at short notice to fix and redo our electrical system and install solar panels on our Transit Custom. Work completed to a very high standard and excellent updates on progress and communication throughout. Would definitely go back for any future modifications.

Looking for advice
Had an electric charging problem, lovely gentleman at the end of the phone took the time to explain what I needed to look at, went through a few things on the phone, told me I needed a electric tester and which one to buy. Told me once I have it what to test and would lead me to the problem. Did this and it has, there was no pressure into getting the caravan seen and charging me for it. He was the only one out of 5 phone calls that had the decency to call back and help. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend and will be giving him my business as well as telling family and friends.
