Spent $98 on a small cake in a card which was to be delivered on March 23 for grandsons birthday. No delivery was made. I have yet for my emails to be answered. Wish I had looked at reviews before I ordered. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM

Very bad experience

Don't trust them. It is a scam. I delivered a chocolate caramel cake for my sister it costed more than 100$ and they sent a a tiny chocolate cake which costed 25$. No response for the mail . Look what we ordered and look what we got. So we refunded it and asked to refund our money the response was absolutely no. Please don't trust these cheap people

They delivered a totally different cake: I had ordered a chocolate cake with cherries and my daughter got a vanilla birthday cake. Zero reply or feedbacks to explain the difference and above all the below price quality of delivered cake.

The cake ordered was nothing like the picture, nor did it taste good (it was very dry). They left the gift receipt on the cake box and it showed that it was a grocery store-bought cake worth less than half of what we paid prior to the additional cost of delivery fees.

If there was a zero star category, I would award this Company. Please DO NOT ORDER from them . They are a SCAM They are rude , insolent and I wished I had read the reviews before placing an order with them . If you check the website no contact telephone no is provided which is sign that they are a scam
I placed an order for a truffle cake and no delivery was made. When I challenged this via email contact on the website . They
were so rude and obnoxious . Beware of this Company. Safe yourself the hassle.

Delivered the incorrect items, bunch of scammers DO NOT ORDER FROM THiS COMPANY they overprice items and deliver the wrong stuff then try and turn it around on you! There was a missing cake topper, they sent the wrong cake and and also wrong flowers! I will be reporting this company to the police as it is a fake website that is operating a scam by sending the wrong items and needs to be taken down as it is scamming innocent people out of money. There response below because I complained and you can tell it’s some kid running the business because they are very unprofessional. I will be reporting this company and suggest everyone else do the same to make sure the website is closed down and it is scamming innocent people and falsely advertising products under the Criminal Code

We have taken note of your abusing language and going to report that to authorities by law. Also a copy of that language will be printed and will be mailed to your sister in law.

Ordered a red velvet cake with a happy birthday topper for 76$ plus 35$ delivery fee. Not only was the cake delivered extremely late, it was also nothing like the description. The cake was obviously brought from a cheap supermarket and the most ridiculous thing was, they didn’t even bother to remove completely the store price tag. No happy birthday topper either. This place is a scam.

Ordered a cookies n cream cheese cake and was delivered a frozen chocolate cake. Which my husband hates I was trying to surprise him with a sweet treat and they messed everything up they charged me over 80 for the cake and delivery then to top it off the driver just left it outside his job. And now I am not hearing back from the company and there is no customer service number at all.

I ordered chocolate truffle cake for $69.99 and delivery fee of $19.99 from makemygift.ca with a card for my wife's birthday but I was disappointed when the cake was delivered and it was clearly ordered from La Rocca cakes and the value is $34 on their website. They are also posting exact picture of the cake from La Rocca cakes. Highest level of deceit and when I sent an email with the exact cake picture they responded by abusing me and blocked me from sending further emails.

"You are as stupid as person can get, that cake is wholesale price and they don't even have service in your delivery location, we buy from them and resale them, what you want us to do, buy cake for $34 and sell for $34. What a stupid guy you are,

I am wondering how stupid guys like you even get a girl."

I bought $76 8inch almond chocolate cake,$9.99 candles , my fd received superstore $19 5inch chocolate cake and $0.99 candles with superstore’s receipt, without any decoration. It is terrible for my fd birthday surprise!!!!

Ordered a scented candle set (2 candles) for my friends birthday. They charged me 30$ for the two candles and ended up delivering two different, cheap candles instead of what is demonstrated in the actual description. Very deceiving website and service. Do not recommend anyone shopping any product here. I have photographic proof if required to be produced as evidence.

Ordered a birthday cake and candles and a topper. Cake was delivered with zero candles and zero topper but they took my money for that. Called the number on the page over and over with no response

Scammers, I paid $20 extra to have my order delivered between 8-11 am but I got the order at 7 pm and completely different than what I paid for, I paid $114 and got a cake worth not more than $30
They broke my day

Do NOT use this company. A very bad experience with Makemygift.ca. Friends sent me a cake and it was delivered when I was not home. Instead of putting it inside an enclosed porch (door unlocked), they left it outside on a chair. I live in the country and a wild animal ate 1/2 of it. When I notified them that they should not have left food outside they blamed me for not being home. They offered to deliver again for a $20 fee even though it was their fault for leaving a cake outside. When I tried to dispute this, they responded the matter was over and they would not discuss again. So I never received the cake. Very bad customer service!!

Scammed me out of a cake, never delivered and charged me over $100. Fighting with oaypal and my bank to get a refund. Customer support was extremely unprofessional.

I received a bouquet of flowers and a box of chocolates purchased and by my brother yesterday. The flowers in the bouquet were mostly dead and some were even rotten. The note that came with the flowers had the original printed text semi scratched as an attempt to write what my brother wished to say on the note. How disappointing to receive flowers like that. I would never recommend this site to send flowers to anyone.
